You walk through the fog wall, sword at the ready, armour clanking with every step. You've fought for your life for the past ten minutes, all out of estus flasks. Your soul counter in the corner shows 20364. You're tired, and this is risky. The arena beyond the fog is empty. A cold chill runs down your back. An empty arena is never a good sign. As you hesitantly walk further in, darkness falls over the sky. A silhouette moves in your periphery. Nothing. Rain starts pouring. Thunder rumbles in the distance. You stop. A couple of red eyes are glaring hauntingly at you from the reflection of a puddle, yet nothing can be seen in the arena around you. There's that haunting feeling of being watched again. The red eyes in the puddle are gone. Another puddle stirs with the outline of something dark and gold. More red eyes to the left of you. You turn, sword out and shield at the ready. A deep huff comes from behind you. The health bar appears at the bottom of the screen: 'Giratina: Embodiment of Antimatter' You should've summoned a friend... The bonfire you last rested at greets you soon enough...
The only real grudge I have with this is the removal or forgetful about the heartbeat/flatline at the beginning (To be fair I can hear the flatline at the beginning but it is so quiet it only heard it on my second listen) for me that played a big part of my love for the original but other then that it’s incredible sounding as epic as all of your other amazing songs

Once I had listened to the Origen Dialga/Palkia Theme and the Volo Theme you had done, I had a fair feeling that Giratina was coming up really soon. The moment I saw that premier I was filled with excitement! The Way you put it together fits the moment perfectly, the feeling of dread and that 'Eldritch Presence' as Volo put it. Like, you as the player who was already seriously weakened now have to basically fight a vengeful dark god of creation. Who wouldn't feel dread from that? And yes i know the heart monitor part isn't there, but I feel it makes sense for the time period tho (Fight me). They wouldn't have been around yet for the people to associate with, so this pressure and intensity that the song gives instead fills that space right up! I look forwards to the next one!

This is awesome! Only complaint I really have like someone already mentioned is the removal of the flatline. You can still distinctly hear it but it would have been more impactful if you kept the original. Apart from that I love this and your remixes are awesome so far dude! Keep it up

Honestly, you know how dialga and palkia can't fully turn into an arceus style form? Why do I feel like if giratina didn't heavily dislike arceus, it's the one legendary that can get closest to attaining that form? Something about it just feels like that.

I'm not so sure about this mix but it is an interesting take on the theme... But trying to interpret a lot of the quirks the original in this approach makes the song really frustrating and unsatisfactory to listen to. Not to mention that the song here stays in the same place the whole time with the choir track playing non-stop, it removes a lot of the layers and suspense the original had. So I wouldn't really call this "an epic orchestra" mix because there's no epicness to it. It only changes up near the end with the heartbeat then crash, but there was no crash, it just kept going in the same way. And another thing I have against this arrangement is the removal of the suspense that the original had in the beginning of the song. Here, it was eluding to a drop but it never comes, and it just keeps going, and the song never changes. The idea of an epic orchestral arrangement of this track is a good idea, but the execution here leaves a lot to be desired. But you are still a good arranger and at least the remix didn't sound like typical GarageBand remixes you'd find in the same genre on yt, and I respect that.

I understand that not everyone will enjoy this cover as much as others do. In my defense I have to say that this was a hard track to orchestrate in an intense way. I know I faded away some of its most iconic parts and it's rhythm stayed the same for the whole track. I didn't change its rhythm since the feeling you get when fighting Giratina in PLA felt like a complete surprise for the player after thinking that Giratina didn't have a second phase. I tried to make it sound as intense and huge as possible adding all layers of instruments since it's a fast and intense track (200bpm) and I know some parts felt weird to listen to since this remix isn't intended to listen when you want to calm down or relax. My music is intentionally made loud and intense although it also depends on the track I'm remixing as well. I may not have explained myself very well but I'll accept your tips and work harder on each track I make! Thanks a lot!
@@Galax_Music No it's ok, and I'm glad you've decided to remix this track and that you are still learning and experimenting with your music. That in itself is respectable. I think if you want to keep your music grand and intimidating, maybe just try to have it slow down in a rit. then have it crash with all your layers? Just having something like that can add so much, and having sections where it mellows out but still keeping up the pace and percussion can add so much more dynamic. But those are just some things I would've incorporated and are merely suggestions. I think for this conversation alone, I'll subscribe to you, I'd like to see you grow and improve! @@Galax_Music No it's ok, and I'm glad you've decided to remix this track and that you are still learning and experimenting with your music. That in itself is respectable.
I think if you want to keep your music grand and intimidating, maybe just try to have it slow down in a rit. then have it crash with all your layers? Just having something like that can add so much, and having sections where it mellows out but still keeping up the pace and percussion can add so much more dynamic. But those are just some things I would've incorporated and are merely suggestions. I think for this conversation alone, I'll subscribe to you, I'd like to see you grow and improve!
