i'm not sure, the screw that you turn, is it pushing on another screw that hold the plate to the aluminium profile ? or does this screw goes into the profile too ?

The screw I am turning to tighten the belt is pushing on the head of the main block mounting screw.
Doesn't vibration loosen it up?

There is a jam nut that prevents it from loosening.
