most beautifull of machines in the world... not the best of CAM...but it got the job done.
If I had one of these in my house, my shoes, sunglasses and hat would all be made out of CNC metal for real.

Normal not all pieces need 5 axis, in my workplace 70% of the time i just use 3 axis and even the rest most of the times i dont even use the full capabilities most of the tollpaths dont even need continuous 5 axis. with the rigth tolls you can cut the necessity to use all 5axis and if you use them you sacrifice rigidity...

Typical "demo" big hunk of steel in an ideal clamping. Lots of extraneous metal removal making a useless paperweight. Overly big retractions and R planes.
