    That graphic clue was the only way he was going to get the contestant to make the flip in his brain to 'congested'. Very impressive.

    They were at near record pace through the 1st five, good thing they had all that time at the last one. The ESP was there, John's clues were brilliant. Maybe not the fastest clear time (thanks to the doozy at the top) but IMO, one of the best winner's circle playing ever.

      Must not have been in their dictionary. The judge is very quick on the buzzer when you give a synonym.

    I wonder what happened between the 80s and today. I mean in the 80s 90% of daytime was nothing but gameshows. there were literally like 400 different airings a week. now theres only 4 a day. in the 80s there was like 30.

      At one point each network had 3-4 hours an afternoon of soaps.
      Now the popular daytime shows feature four blabbermouths and a topic of discussion.

      "Phlegm-filled chests" is fine because it is the item. The difference between that and "Chests filled with phlegm" is that the latter says the thing ("Chests") and then describes the thing ("filled with phlegm"). It's sort of like the difference between "A computer's directions" and "The directions to a computer" (setting aside the use of the prepositional phrase)
