Earl Holliman's Winner's Circle reaction is priceless! And I've always enjoyed the way he wished his civilian partners on "Pyramid" good luck, especially with a handshake. Very decent and genuine.

My favorite all-time game show. It required concentration and quiet, two things that are sorely lacking from today's game shows (with the exception of "Jeopardy!"). The Winner's Circle showcased some of the brightest players and celebrities (Earl Holliman, Shelley Smith, Nipsy Russell). Today, it's all hysteria and hype.

My other faves were Richard Klein (no better clue for "sacrificed" than "a Biblical lamb"), Jamie Farr, LeVar Burton, Vickie Lawrence, Charlie Siebert, Betty White, and a couple of others that I can see but can't remember their names! But when they were on it, they were on it!

@usanatv2007sentertainmentinc. Yes, the questions/answers are "good" (an argument can be made that the difficulty of the questions has also been reduced) but the MC is a joke. It's about as bad as Drew Carey leading "The Price Is Right".

The Winner's Circle is the best bonus round in TV game shows. And on the $25k Pyramid, the celebrities, while they may not have been the biggest stars, were almost universally excellent players and had a true love for the game and were genuinely thrilled when their contestants won.
