I used to listen to "Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell" almost every night. That clip was from an on air live nightly show. Was the guy telling the truth or just a crackpot? Decide for yourself. It was incredibly interesting to hear this specific radio broadcast and phone call because this is based off of a real thing that happened, the game might have just been there to explain some things but this is an actual radio station that actually received this phone call from a guy and there are some lines afterwards of them asking what happened because their instruments said that the guy didn't hang up it got immediately disconnected.
That radio message at the end uses audio I first heard in a very scary horror themed radio mod in Fallout 4 that I used alongside a ton of other horror mods, recognized it instantly because it unsettles me so damn much
