In this elden ring video I'm testing whether any of the main bosses in the game can survive a duo made by Radagon and Rennala.
As per usual I've enabled all grabs and I gave them a nice little entrance which very much fits their characters. Their stats are unaltered compared to when our tarnished fights them during story mode.

Holy- Rennala tanking the Guardian Golem's lasers is eye-opening. Seeing her retaliation felt like she was saying, "You want lasers? I'll show you lasers." right before sending it right up the golem's rear.
80% magic negation is just like that.
Thats why a full on magic build is a the only time Rennala is a difficult boss for new players in the early game, cause you basically do shit damage to her.

More than divorced they seem still in love. Radagon takes all the aggro while Rennala spams all she can to stunlock the bosses

As I suspected, these two make for a great "tank and caster" team.
I like that they enter with their respective teleport move. That was a nice touch.
It's odd, I usually start rooting for the individual bosses, but this time it was nice to see Rennala actually get the support she needed to do massive damage :D
Rennala needs someone in the front lines and Radagon needs someone to keep enemies from chain-poise breaking him, the duo is perfect
I headcanon that Marika's order to Radagon to become Elden Lord was not popular with the guy himself. Maybe why he was trying to reforge the Elden Ring so he could give it to some goddamn other person and return to Raya Lucaria.

I’m pleasantly surprised Placidusax was clever enough to eliminate Rennala first then Radagon. But I’ll admit I was a little nervous when Radagon teleported when Placi did his beams. Proud of him

Hate how I knew exactly who this team is
They did play _pretty_ much flawlessly which was interesting to see. Godskins resist Strike and Holy specifically pretty hard and have Fire/Black flame DoT. So my guess would be that they just smoke Radagon but both of them just proved too agile to consistently hit when they were split into two 1v1s and Rennala + Radagon had better poise damage so they just shut down the Noble once Radagon beat the Apostle down.
Funny that two separate bosses- one of whom is actually just half of a boss and the other of whom is scaled to the second zone in the game- make for a better duo than the _actual duo_ boss you fight, even at type disadvantage.

I've always felt bad for Rennala since she got abandoned by her children. Screw Radagon, but children, no matter how disfigured or evil, will always be children in a mother's eyes. And your comment made me feel melancholic.

@@DarkManifest one reason why the ranni ending likely one of good endings if not the best is don't side with some evil heartless entities like at least half of them if not all others hough I have yet to finish the game im mildly aware of the different routes

I too would love to think that, because lore and story that shit is beautifully tragic. A mother and father trying their best to reach their son to no avail, as majority of his being has been overtaken by an insatiable serpent. Then in the second phase, the only semblance of their son, which is his face, is embedded in said serpent. They pause, and attack once more, it isn’t until Renalla uses her full moon does Rykard sees the gravity of the situation. He knows this magic, he’s seen that moon before. And remembers just how warm the night could be, but he has to keep eating. But I think he was just doing that skull fire spell thingy, fucking hate that shit.
I’m sorry that Full Moon from Rennala when the Godskin Apostle started his roll was TOO PERFECT. She literally avoided it flawlessly then proceeded to interrupt that shit with the burst the SECOND he rolled under her again. Too good lmao Radagon and her are just too strong together 😆😂
The placidusax fight rocked. Both placidusax and radagon were dodging attacks and knocking each other down. Epic.

WOW! The way how Rennala broke the poise of the Gigachad Loux and then Radagon landed the killing blow was AMAZING. Really this couple fights so well together, their attacks and IA almost looks like are intentionally designed to fight together. Imagine having to fight them in the DLC

Its also stupidly funny to me that Rennala is well regarded as one of the smartest bosses in these videos and got thwarted by a pillar against Maliketh.
I really dig that little summon + teleport intro at the start! Adds a nice little bit of flair to our "contestants", so to speak.
It’s like the intro to an opponent in fighting games like DBFZ.
Renalla and Radagon compliment each other so well in a fight perspective. Renalla has great poise damage and damage output, but no health. Radagon has shit poise damage and damage output, but its a rather valuable tank

@@rpjoca4644 Why not? He attacks much more frequently than anyone besides Godfrey and Malenia, and deals about 650 damage a hit, which is a bit less than Godfrey and Malenia deal, but not a lot. His DPS is high.
He does low poise damage, which means he wont have much time to hit the enemy so much. And he also has long openings like Morgott

I’m pleased that the death rite bird and the laser golem have joined the line up, because I’ve never beaten the strongest bird or the laser golem and those two losing pleases me greatly. Right up there with Gideon always Needing Help.

I bet it was satisfying to watch the golem get literally assblasted with Rennalla's laser and for her to just barely avoid being atomized by the golem's own lasers (I was so glad to see her stagger just far enough back to not get caught in the beams)

My brother in the Erdtree, the golden order has the power you seek. Smite those foul abominations with a series of frisbees, flung at high velocities from far away. Watch as the holy damage destroys its innards like a power sander being pressed against a baby's midsection.
And if you're really feeling risky, the Litany of Proper Death will pretty much destroy it in less than 10 casts if it hits and you have a decent faith stat.
Now, that Golem? I got nothing for you, just avoid it.

Radagon is a tank with solid DPS and Rennala spams spells to do tons of DPS and frequently poise break enemies. As effective as it is simple. They work very well together.
Unfortunately, if one goes down, the other is likely soon to follow, especially if Radagon goes down. I also want a redo of that fight against Maliketh because Rennala kept hitting the pillar.
This was fun to watch and Rennala and Radagon have such great synergy. I love how Radagon tanks and pulls aggro so Rennala can go all out with her sorceries. Their powers also make such a great spectacle. I only wish we could have gotten another round with Maliketh so I’m not left wondering if they would have won without Rennala getting stuck behind a pillar.
@3:50 Thought Comet Azure falling just short of Gideon, only for Radogon to suddenly emerge from the beam and wreck face was just downright cool!
Was only when I re-watched did I notice it was actually a sneaky glint-stone Rennala fired through the bean that knocked the unknowing All Knowing on his arse just before Radagon emerged.

(5:19) It's not Rennala; it's the tactical combination of Rennala and Radagon together. He moves in and tanks while she blasts from range. That's teamwork you don't usually see, and if either one goes down, the other is in trouble.

There were a lot of great moments in this.
Like how other bosses dissolve to the laser golem and it did basically nothing to Rennala at 7:20. Also, Radagon deflecting the golem halberd at 8:04 was pretty cool.
Then there was the *real* first Elden Lord taking absolutely no crap from the new guy and his ex-wife. Long live Placidusax.
Is anyone else going to acknowledge that Renala’s comet azur went right up where the sun don’t shine during the guardian golem fight
Whats interesting is that individually they both kind of weak but together their really strong. Rennala is able to use her long range attacks while Radagon charges in. Plus the way they teleport together is epic.
Make "bloody fingers squad vs bosses". Include in it every blood-related NPCs that we know of: Eleonora, Nerejus, Okina, Varre, Sanguine noble, and others.
And the white masks too!

@@craisssoma9208 They are not. The disciples of Mohg lord of blood are without number. Numerous white masks, sanguine nobles and clean blood knights serve him in the different places across the lands between. I just was too lazy to include all of them at once.
I like how a lot of these are the ultimate power couple disciplining their children
Some cool highlights for me:
- Rennala's Full Moon eating Rykards Rancor before it could get going
- Radagon Catching Blackflame Fireballs to protect his wife
- Radagon's Mortal Kombat finisher on the dying Godskin
- Basically any time the Banana Slamma came out
- The sheer amount of damage Rennala can pump out when she isn't being bullied
- Mohg *DELETING* Radagon with the Nihil (Rennala did her best but the Cr1msonFuck3r is far too strong for her alone)
- Watching Radagon slap phase 1 Melenia around woth his hammer like an abusive stepdad with a belt (please note I do not condone domestic violence)
- Placidusax realising "Oh, right, Target the Caster first"
- Malekith gives Zero Fucks about Radagon's Holy Damage (And Rennala realising she got the shitty dog in the Divorce)
- Papa Loux jumping over Radagon to grab Rennala
And though it deeply pains me to admit it, since he really doesn't deserve it, but Morgott was on the end of a First Class shit kicking.
11/8 (do not question my scoring system), just goes to show that these two shouldn't have split.
Only one can call himself the Cr1msonFuck3r, and that annoying blood spammer is definitely not worthy of the name.

@@rpjoca4644 And then also kept Maliketh from using some of his aerial attacks on Radagon, meaning he'd have put Radagon down sooner meaning he'd have taken less damage.
Radagon and Rennala can win this, but they didn't. It's up to RNG, pillars or no pillars. The fact that they couldn't take down a boss with 4k health and negative poise is embarrassing enough. Don't need to skew the circumstances to their favor even further,

Radagon is REALLY good at aggro management even when renalla is constantly firing magic she's almost never targeted by anyone

Radagon finally came home, gave Gideon the business end of his hammer and took back his wife. This whole video is just them enjoying their second honeymoon.
I know it's not OP or meta or anything but Marika's hammer has become one of my top three favorite NG+ weapons. It seems to do solid poise damage and the weapon art is hilariously fun to use, especially on mobs. But if I'm being totally honest, I mostly use it just 'cos I love how it looks.
The way Rennala fights is so mesmerizing 😩

Radagon almost completely dodging Placidusax' laser attack with his instant transmission was so incredibly cool looking.
They did so well together, still wondering why Radagon left her, they seem so happy beating other bosses and specially happy beating their own children

@@mijoveri1 rennala isn't bald she's got black hair underneath that hat/crown thing, plus you can't just judge a book by it's cover, and just like all bosses, she's not in her prime either...Naturally, Radagon abandoning her left her emotionally damaged and the amber egg was the only thing via which she tried coping.... and she hasn't completely lost it either, the fact that she was able to somehow use the rune of the unborn besides her current shortcomings, this says alot about her capabilities and the reason why she is known as one of the strongest sorcerers...🌕
