GTA V car sounds are already great, but if Rockstar improves them in GTA 6 we might have one of the best car sounds on the industry. Imagine if they add something similar to Forza where the exhaust actually changes the sound and you can turbo or supercharge your car. Rockstar already have all the ingredients in their hands to make the best car game ever, they just need to cook.
Yes that’s exactly what I’m thinking, looking back at the Car Collection & Customization Options when GTAOnline launched, was nowhere compared to today’s offerings. That’s the reason Midnight Club was abandoned, they save up morey money without licensing the cars. I also hope for manual transmission!
One thing I love to do is putting the camera right against the exhaust/back of the car, in order to hear it better. The cars sound so much better and crispier and it’s very noticeable with certain cars (for example the dominator).
I noticed it first with the Turismo R, i was too far in the process to restart and record that on nearly all cars, again 😂 But I will once make a top 25 video or so, and include that 👍🏾
I'm glad you gave the Adder a mention. For one of the OG cars, it has one of the most agressive, beefy and unique sounds. Sounds exactly like it is, a giant engine that is being muffled.
Yeah the sound changed for me when I switched to series x upgrade. It’s on a couple other cars I think too. Good sound now. it’s a far better car to drive now
@fastlanegaming You don't LOSE progress by playing on Old Gen, it treats it as a separate account, so if you buy something on PS4, it won't be on PS5 and vice versa
42:49 in a personal level, i want to see the Progen GP1(My favourite vehicle of all GTA Online) in GTA 6 with the three seats and the central steering wheel of the McLaren F1. Also, if they make that engine sound similar to the real life BMW V12 engine in GTA 6 it would be epic.
I noticed that since the next-gen patch, cars sound significantly quieter on the inside. It is a shame because I loved the induction sound of the Windsor ,and some others cars, but now it’s gone. One positive is that the cars that were already quiet on the inside (Cognoscenti or the Stanford for example) are now almost silent and make for remarkable cruisers with the radio on. You really are in your own bubble.
19:38 I'm gonna be nerdy and say that R* have a perfect VQ sound in the files, that was never used. It works nearly perfectly. Many FiveM servers use this sound.

Very cool sounds on show, great stuff. One thing I will say is that the Specter Custom is actually the Aston DB10 from the Bond movie “Spectre”. Kinda references it in the name, doesn’t it?
You should’ve included the Coquette Blackfin instead of the Coquette D1, the Blackfin sounds insane when letting go of the accelerator. Great list though.
This just shows me that you didn’t go through the time marks, the blackfin is in the MUSCLE section 😎 there are over 100, when I say that I’ve spent a lot of time testing ALL OF THEM then I mean it.
The only thing I really don't like when it comes to these sounds is that so many cars have a sound that doesn't match the engine layout and for engine swaps it stays the same too, for example the Jester Classic has an I6 and has an I4 sound and if you V12 swap the XA-21 it still has the V8 sound

Yeah correct, but the factory version if it is the 2019 Vantage, so it doesn’t really make a big difference it is still GTA 😂
