      When I started listening to this doctor I also thought what a befitting name... Amen, like it's full stop, this is the end all. And he drops things that change lifestyles if anyone is listening and wants to be better. I even got my son listening at 14 ND we are hooked. Bless him! ❤

    Amazing talk. Such a pity all this research is coming now at my age of 70.
    However a learner is always a student. Thank you for people like this in our society today who bring forward the scientific proof.
    We can’t beat that. 🌺💐

    This is great because I'm a t-totaler who has argued with people for years that alcohol is nothing but a poison to the world. My family has done a lot of work with the homeless as well so I have never been tempted by it. I have spent years arguing that partying has to be done sober to resist mental weakness. I use spiritual prayer to God for strength and he always gets me through and makes me feel better and gives me a purpose and direction in life when I listen to him.

    I never liked Dr Amen’s PBS presentations because he was not really himself, yet I sat through them many times because I love knowledge in the vein of giving us control over our own self healing bodies. Now that I see and listen to him during this interview, where he is one-on-one, I am loving the man! He is so much more appealing because he is believable in this type of modality. In my personal practice, I tap bones while speaking. It’s a blend of AFT/EFT and body-talk. It’s the quickest healing I have ever partaken in during my 3 decades of massage therapy. I just can’t manage to heal myself. I know it’s my thoughts and feelings and I realize I have to change my environment to get well because I’m heavily influenced by my physical environment. When people feel like they are in medical prison, it’s time for a change m. Thank you so much guys for sharing. Now I must practice Cortices, EFT, and body talk and decide if I should move to where I want to live my life outside of the USA away from critical family and friends who don’t want to hear the truth about them selves who are getting in the way of their dreams.

    I am GRATEFUL that this appeared in my feed. I'm grateful that I watched. I've decided to practice and apply Dr. Amen's questions and tips. My yoga journey began in 2011 with kundalini and I practiced kirtan kriya. This reminds me to return to that practice. Grateful, grateful, grateful.

    Thank you! So wise! It has so much powerful information, i enjoyed listened to Dr Amen! It fascinated how the brain works... totally agreed psychiatrist should look into the brain... those techniques presented for Dr. Amen are very simple to follow, we have to have the will to do it. And it is so true..disorder to order and i belive there is higher power. Thanks again! God bless you!

    I started listening to you after you interviewed my current favorite thought-leader Dr. Joe Dispenza. Now, I am riveted by your podcasts and the amazing souls you interview. Dr. Amen is no exception. He is real, brilliant, and so tuned into what the brain needs and what can go wrong with the brain. Huge fan of both of you. Thank you for your work and interviewing this incredible brain expert.

    I have been watching podcast with Jay, and Mel, I want to learn more about my brain I want a scan. I had Brain Surgery in 2002 for a 4 cm+ acoustic neuroma. I lived in Augusta Ga, and had a wonderful Nuerosurgeon who knew how tuff I was, and the ENT Neurosurgeon was his team. I had been treated for "Bi polar disorder 1 and began a host of medication I was and am an active 62 yr old. My first encounter with a counselor was to help me learn new tools to better serve my children. Next thing I know I'm on lots of medication but I also kicked but at any job I did. I was diagnosed with a , what they thought was a , 3.5 cm Acoustic Neuroma Brain tumor. Best Surgeons in Augusta. When they opened my brain the tumor was much larger. It had filled my cerebellum pontine angle ( Wich only had space of 3.5cm and found it had grown onto my brainstorm and pushed into my brain causing the right to push against the left brain causing the midline to not be able to circulate the fluid properly. They had a hard time extracting this stubborn tumor from my brain. However with their faith and mine and all of my family and friends I am here today functioning. well but what I have been studying about neuroscience I am facinated at the information that is available to me today. I still have tumor on my brainstorm since 2002 surgery, had gamma knife treatment which then I was told I could never have radiation treatment again and that a 2nd surgery ... Well wouldn't turn out well I have an MRI every year to stay on top of the growth Wow I wish I could talk to you. I was told by my audiographer during the initial diagnosis that if I was Bi polar it would show on my scans I asked both of my Neuro surgeons and was told that's not true. I had to leave Georgian and come back to Louisiana to regain strength etc. I started seeing A neurologist and Neurosurgeon at LSU in Shrevepor several years later bc I couldn't make the drive to Ga. These Drs had 1 of the only 3 gamma knife machines , at the time and She assured me that if the tumor on my brainstorm began to grow I could have gamma knife to control it. I know this is a long story And There is much more But I have been told that the tumor on my brainstem DOES NOT. cause any problems I want the truth I want want you are offering I want a scan so I know how my brain works . I was in so many meds that I realized the game they play. In 2016 I sleep drive and totaled my car 2 doors down from my house. I live in a rural area on the lake with minimum funds No way in my right mind would I have got up from sleep abd decided to drive 18 miles one for a cheeseburger. That's when I severd my ties with my psychiatris 2017 under the guidence of my GP I told here these drugs were killing me and I need to do life with the brain I have minus the chemical poison. I want a Scan to know my brain and how it works

    So what are the things that are good or bad for your brain? Is this in his book? I would like to know where I am going wrong, because I struggle with relationships in different settings. I eat consciously, exercise, meditate twice a day but I have low self esteem in my job and struggle with negativity.

    • @mysterygirl30011
      @mysterygirl30011 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's not Aaout that but about things that are good or bad for your SOUL. If you age doing anything linked to Yoga, chakras etc, you are actually opening youself up to the demonic realm and I know this from experience. If si, you need to stop and seek deliverance from the kundalini spirit. Many have testimonies About this too. Unless you are meditating on the truth, God's Grace, salvation in Christ, the Word of God,you're only emptying your mind allowing it to wander on your own thought including negative which is no help. I pray you find how to help yourself spirirually. Everything else stems from it. Your mind/ brain is only a refllection of your spiritual state.
