    I just received my new 2024 Epiphone Les Paul Custom Inspired by Gibson in Alpine White today. It came with a hard shell case with the Epiphone+Gibson Custom commemorative logo. Seeing the guitar for the first time, brought a big smile on my face. This guitar looks real. Feels real. And plays real. Now that I’m 62, I like the weight of this one. I am super happy. Although I already have a 2012 Korean-made Epiphone Black Beauty, as I suspected, I am still going to get the Ebony version. Life is good.

      I purchased the white one from Wildwood. It was supposed to be here today, but got delayed until Monday. 😔 Oh well. It’s 9.14 lbs. and has a .89 to 1.01 neck. Can’t wait! 😀

    • @mr3klax
      @mr3klax 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Sorry to hear about the delay. But, don’t you worry my friend because once you get it the wait will be all worth it. I had no idea that this guitar is this gorgeous in person. The finish is like a white grand piano. The bound headstock with real MOP is absolutely stunning. To my old eyes and ears, this is perfect. Even my back is happy. The ebony fretboard with real MOP inlays are phenomenal. I can’t take my eyes off her. For a quarter of the price of the Gibson. Thank you Gibson! Thank you Epiphone! For blessing your fans. I know not everyone is happy. But, I am truly grateful.

      @@CrazyKnkbI hear you. I urge you to pre-order. I don’t think these high-end IBG Epiphone guitars will be around like their regular models. At some point they’ll be discontinued. Like the other Custom Shop models. It’s a cycle. I am definitely pre-ordering the Ebony version in time for Father’s Day.

    I have one in Alpine White. And I like it. A lot. For me, everything about it is great. I am taking it to my luthier next week for a pro setup and fret dress. In the meantime, I took off the covers and checked out the parts. Mine has Gibson USA 490R and 498T pickups, CTS pots, Mallory caps and Switchcraft switch and output jack. I was pleased to find that the cavities were super clean and painted white. The wirings were neatly soldered and nicely tucked. I am very happy with this guitar. So impressed that I purchased the IGC 1959 ES-355 in Ebony within a couple of weeks later.

    I just ordered this model... Got it for £1089.00 which is a great deal for what you get... Gibson headstock, correct profile one piece neck, the same gibson pickups as the real deal, much nicer pearl inlays with very slick dark ebony board, top notch electrics and tuners, upgraded body binding, maple cap and a groovy hard shell case to protect the guitar... What more could you ask for without paying out 6k on the gibby... It makes sense, it is sense and its perfect for pro level gigging and everything else in between... Amazing.... They have put more attention to detail on this model than they have on the 59 les paul.

    Congratulations! Looks really sharp. That oversized bound Gibson-style headstock with true MOP logo & split diamond inlay is my absolute favorite. Don't bump that headstock to hard when you pick it up every once in a while. The paint and thick poly are the only thing holding it together. When its laying in the case in two pieces one day, dont say I didn't warn you. Its just a matter of time. Kinda like a ticking time bomb.
