I got a "new to me" 1988 Basstracker last year. The bilge pump didn't work and I put the drain plug in the wrong hole. What a disaster!! Fixed that problem!! th-cam.com/video/pY2CTVA6R0U/w-d-xo.html
Dude! What's all that crap on your boats rivets? Set your boat up on saw horses, lay a sledge hammer on the rivets on the top side, then simply tap the rivets on the bottom side with a regular hammer. You can get solid aluminum rivets from granger to add or replace them. It's really easy!
You made that look pretty easy. We gotta make sure they are drained for winter storage or we replace them every spring!
Glad I don't have to winterize and store my boat!
Man that thing can pump some water in a hurry!! Nice simple set up, I like it!
Thanks! I was getting tired of bailing water out by hand.
Good Job. Pumps are important
Thanks! I wish I thought of it a long time ago.
Awesome job brother! That worked great and I like how ya made portable so you didn’t have to drill into the boat! 😊👏👏👏👍
Thank you! I figured that boat had enough holes in it LOL
Great video. A good bilge is very important.
Thanks! I was tired of bailing LOL
Right on bud ! Beauty how to ! Thanks for sharing
couldnt you put the flathead screws on the bottom and the nuts on the inside to make a more flush contact ?
I just flipped the screws over. I think you are right, the flat plate will be almost flush with the boat floor now. Thanks!!
I Got a John boat that I am going to put this video to use on. Great vid
Thank you! It works great!
Nice job, fast pump👍
Sure is. Took a bigger hose diameter than I expected. Thanks for stopping by.
@@ThatShinerGuy did anyone notice that the pump was pulled out of the bucket before any kind of float would have shut the pump off?
@@timothyclingerman5430 yes, the float only engages the pump when the water level gets too high, shuts off automatically.
What is a shiner? What is a shiner boat? God bless
Nice informative Video, I may need to get one of these automatic pumps

Nice job! Gotta have a bildge👍
What did you do to the wire that was suppose to go to the switch? Bought the same pump and planning on the same setup.
I insulated the wire I am not using with Liquid Tape.
@@ThatShinerGuy thank you.
Great job
Thank you!
Great pump.
Thank you!
Heck yeah brother that thing puts out some water in a minute, definitely will do the trick!
Thank you brother! I was getting tired of bailing water all the time!
Heat shrink wrap is key. Especially in Salt
Yo was just behind you on the road and saw your yt lol you have a white truck
I post a lot of bass fishing videos. Nice to meet you.
Perfect for installation on a stand up jet ski that doesn't need all the other bs..
Wish we could say we had these projects/problems 😂
Now if I only had a boat.
Its a very cheap setup. Old jon boat with a trolling motor. No outboard.
