- Get your fill of Nairobi with our host Joy Kendi, who takes us on a taste tour of the city.
From street snacks to new restaurants and how to spot good sushi, this episode brings us a bite-sized introduction to the best food in Nairobi, and we even get a home-cooked meal and a look at the most traditional cuisine of Kenya.
Talk salivating, delicious foods! Will definitely share the organic market with my health community. Its great to know that the local scene is really picking up in terms of organically grown foods, thanks for bringing this to our attention Kendi and team! Local and indigenous foods do not have to be un healthy, so would also love to hear more on the health options options in restaurants for those opting to go gluten-free , vegan, raw or dairy free. Great stuff!
I looked up from my desk and I saw Lisa the chef then I saw her hair, like my own and I saw myself in her face. Welcome to my home . This will be the closest I will ever get to going to Nairobi Kenya. The beautiful people food and culture broke so much of the stereotypes that I grew up with thank you, thank you. You tube can be such a blessing at the best of times.
Im moving there in three weeks!!
I wish you safe journey and all the very best to you.

Thank you so much! My fiance is Kenyan and had to move back when her teaching job here in Kentucky was over and I am following her. Im really excited! She has such a beautiful heart. Ive been watching all sorts of videos like these because I have no idea what to expect. It looks like paradise. Im just a country boy from the hills but I think I will enjoy it very much.
the lady preparing the fish na skuma wiki ended up looking more appetizing than the food itself..

The last dish looked good but no knife and fork? That’s one thing I’ll have to adjust to. I don’t like eating with my hands. This was a well produced video.
