We also eat it like that in congo. They mix chili powder and salt. We eat it with mangoes and oranges and lots of other fruits. Chili is also called pili pili

True. Coast street food ni nyingi sana. Viazi, katlesi, bhajia, mikate ya mayai, vitumbua, mitai, babu kachri, kachri, kaimati. Common Food in mombasa; Biriani, Pilau, pweza, mandhi which is becoming increasingly common.

The food (Nyamachoma) reminds me of the grilled food from the Ivory Coast - with all the salsa, onions and trimmings etc. This is such a new experience for me. I know more about countries in other continents than I know about the countries in the African continent. Wow! Right now I wish I was n Kenya. I am living my life through the way you are experiencing this place Tayo. I love Kenya.
What I like about Kenyan food is the fact that most of it is not sophisticated but still has great flavor and taste.
