I went on it the next day ,and had a go on the journey planner hi Tec then the 1973 stock looked great ,they have been refurbished but are worn out now be nice to see one restored to as near to original as possible maybe sprayed silver as the aluminium would be hard to strip down and made to look new
Yep and the 1973 Stock still serve the Piccadilly line today, with interior refurbishment of the transverse seats ripped out and replaced with longitudinal seating layout and extra space for luggage for people going to Heathrow
