You would not believe how timely/helpful this video was was. My husband changed the washer in the vanity yesterday, pressure seemed ok at first, but then gradually became a dribble. We tried putting a different brand of washer but was the same. We rang and booked a plumber because we had no idea what was wrong. As an afterthought, I went through your videos and found this one. Tried it and the amount of crap in that aerator was unbelievable!!!! Works fine now and cancelled the plumber!!! Cheers.
hi bill, its time you show how to deal with low pressure cold water tap instead of the other shit modern day tap you the one ur showing here the shit tap with switch handle, i have the normal tap we all knew from way back. I've cleaned the spidle changed the valve fkme and no change, i got the hot water spindle just to see what happens and fkme still same shit. is their a blockage i mean its only happening in bathroom basin all other cold taps are perfect. is their air trapped in that line, wtf is it, been like this for at least 5 years how the fk am i supposed to brush my teeth alott more faster. thanx

Who is disputing the problem? I am here to learn how to fix it. Spoiler alert: 1-unscrew, 2-rinse, 3-screw back on. Wow that was anticlimactic.

Take off the whole faucet + disassemble?

The aerator doesn't so much catch debris as it accumulates minerals from the water itself. It's the same way stalactites and stalagmites form.
