    చిన్న లాజిక్ సార్, నాన్ వెజ్ 250gm-500gm తింటారు సహజంగా అదే పప్పు 50-100 gm కంటే ఎక్కువ తినలేం.
    కాబట్టి పోలిక కరెక్ట్ కాదు, పాశ్చాత్య దేశాల్లో మాంసం తిని 100 యేళ్లు బ్రతుకున్నారు. అన్నీ మానేసి 80యేళ్లు కూడా బ్రతకట్లేదు మనం.

      thats the reason our ancestors suggest to eat complete meal which includes daal , sprouts , brown rice etc and speaking about 100 gm nuts at one go we take a mixed proportion of different nuts and legumes fruits etc which makes it a complete protien rich and energy rich food than other foods .

    Sir namaste! 100 GM's thoor dal lo 25 gram protein, 65 gm Carbs and 343 calories untaay. If a person with weight of 75 kgs who needs 75 gram protein per day consumes 300 gram dal protein he gets 75 gram protein and 1029 calories and 195 gram carbs. In the same way if he takes 300 grams chicken(per 100 gm: 25 gm protein,0 carbs and 115 calories), he gets 75 gm protein, 375 calories and zero carbs.     Balam≠energy. Balam=Strength. Strength progression happens due to resistance training. Resistance training demands a protein rich diet. Best sources of protein(with the highest PDCAAS score) = Whey, Chicken, Eggs and Milk. Unanimously considered the best source of lean protein= Chicken. Energy fuels a workout. A workout is effective only when you provide the body with good amount of protein. It is only then u see a progression in strength. U might have the best energy rich diet but it is useless unless it consists of proteins which in turn, increases strength. Knowledge provided. Peace.

    I surprise why calories alone considered here. how about excess carbohydrates from these veggies. Non-veg is good source of protein without so many carbohydrates.
    It will be great if you can suggest how to manage carbohydrates when eating vegetarian diet.

    After years of experience being vegetarian, vegan and non vegetarian, the best option I found is balanced diet(something like semi vegetarian)

    1) Non veg is not only about energy, it's about proteins.
    2) People never eat 1 kg of daal ( grams) , but eat 1/2 kg chicken.
    3) you told energy of 100 grams of non veg energy but showing 1 kg non veg with 100 grams energy. It's look like misleading.
    4) Non veg gives essential amino acids more than vegetables groats give.
    5) Both Non veg and Veg are good in their own nutrition values. ❤

      Protien per calorie content is also better in veggies. Mushrooms r rich in n 12 n many other trace minerals. Spinach has b12 mimicing protien that can be converted to b12. All u need to do is take care of ur gut health. How mich ever meat u may eat, without a healthy gut it isn't heathly due to low absorption.
