Since there is no way for the player to actually inflict terror the developers likely never bothered to give it any immunity. (or give anything in the game aside from the armoured warrior any immunity to it for that matter)

Every time I play through sekiro I always make sure to kill all the headless so after all those fights it’s pretty weird to learn that headless are able to jump that damn high from a 3 minute TH-cam video
Its because the Terror Bar force you to kill him as quickly as possible, wich makes it difficult to learn his movements and not to mention that jump, at last he always teleports behind you after all
@@doncoria9505 Most of the arenas for the ground ones are pretty compact so you can't get far enough away to trigger that move. Was a surprise to me too.

I feel like the fright buildup should have been disabled. The fact that it's an insta-kill on anything in the game makes the shichimen warrior basically unable to be defeated unless his health is reduced by maybe 80%.
I had no idea what was happening, so when I realized it was a miniboss I got scared. Beat it first try I think, I never found Schichimen that difficult, except sometimes this one under the waterfall. It was pretty much the only boss or miniboss I didn't struggle with.
My dream? To do the same thing BETWEEN Fromsoft games. Imagine Lady Maria vs Friede, or Gael vs Orphan of Kos, Old Isshin Ashina vs Gehrman, Laurence vs Demon Prince vs Demon of Hatred, Ludwig vs Gyobu vs Oceiros, Gundyr vs Logarius........ Giant Sharks vs Ogres!
Think you can do an army of all the Ashina forces, organized in a defensive formation, against an invading army of interior ministry? If not that, then Isshin Ashina vs Great Shinobu Owl?
I have an idea, Slave Knight Gael (summon) vs Slave Knight Gael (Boss), of course the summon one with many times his own health to at least have a fighting chance.
I think Benzoin Gum pitted Owl Father against SSI - latter wins and it's not that close since he has an extra phase (and phase two is already insane.) Though it's worth noting Owl's firecrackers don't work on other AI - I wonder if it's possible to mod the safe effect of Sekiro's firecrackers onto them as it'd make things way more even.
I tried to run away from them once. those headless scared me so hard with that jump, I tried attacking them after I have beaten the demon of hatred. because those headless gave me a great terror.

I think the better question is what CAN beat the shichimen warrior when it can delete people near full health. Hell it deleted the divine dragon in that video aswell
Shichimen warrior is far easier than Headless but its by far one of the coolest looking bosses in the game. Fuck the Shichimen Warrior in Fountainhead Palace though. That linear shit trying hard to run through all his fear orbs killed me more times than Corrupted Monk did
I wonder if any of the Mubi Village NPCs can be beaten with Terror. I don't think lore-wise this makes sense, but at the same time, Headless dying from Terror also doesn't make sense I guess all NPCs have the same Terror bar. It didn't really take much time to fill out Headless's Terror bar, compared to DoH. So I guess all NPCs have the same terror bar, including the Shichimen warriors If we pit two Schichimen warrior in a fight I'm pretty sure one of them's gonna get beat with Terror
One time I puppeteered the Taro Mibu Villager (one with the bell) and one of the Mibu Villagers were throwing terror bombs at him. He got terrored but he survived. There is a possibility that the puppeteer ninjutsu prevented him from dying though.
Its called Terror. That's a status effect that basically kills you in an instant. Both of these guys use it but you can clearly tell that the ranged terror buildup was way superior than melee. If you have other questions (In case you even care about this) I'll try to answer them.

I remember when i encountered the abandoned dungeon’s warrior, doing that weird purple ritual. I noped the hell out of there 😂
