    All my Tv's are Spectre 50 & 65 inch and I never take off the plastic from my TV's and they work excellent!! I will get a sound bar eventually.

      Same. Still have my Sceptres and they still look great today.
      If you can, get yourself a surround system that you're willing to pay for with a subwoofer and amp.
      Much better experience.
      Thanks for the comment!

    I don't know the longevity either but I have a U55 and a U50. The U55 is at least 5 years old maybe 6 or more. The U50 is at least 3 years old. Both are still working and look like new

    Can I hook a bose speaker to it for surround sound cause I heard the sound sucks

    • @therealWoD

      There is auxiliary 3.5 mm audio and AV ports in the back of it.
      You might want to ask the manufacturer just to be safe.

    So can I put the fire stick and it will work?

    • @therealWoD
      @therealWoD  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it will.
      I had put the newer generation 4k Fire Stick on it.
      It will also take the older version.
      Can't speak for the use of the new Fire Stick Lite.
      Don't know what that's all about?!
      Thanks for the question

    I had this tv basically last only 1 year and 7 months. And it is out of warranty. It has purple lines and hazes it shows on the screen go in and out and then back to a normal picture and then back to purple lines and hazes. Tried different cable boxes, tried different hdmi cables. The same result. Even tried the composite output for a video game system. Same problem. And it seems like a pain in the butt to get the serial number. Other tvs have labels for the numbers they have on the sticker. They will label it with S/N. Then they will tell you the model number with the label model number. This TV just has stickers claiming it's the version number. Then they have another sticker with a number on it. Not telling you if it's the S/N. Then when you google how to find S/N on Sceptre TVs you can't find an answer. Nothing in the manual states where to find the S/N. If people say oh you get what you pay for. Well, there is no proof spending more on a TV. That it is going to last 2 years even. So why spend more? If they make TVs worse than they did back then. I literally had tvs last 10 to 15 years. We shouldn't have to be buying warranties and just hoping it will at least last more than 5 years. Okay this is another TV. It's a Sceptre 50" Class 4K UHD LED TV U515CV-U. Not the exact brand. But you get the idea that they can't make tvs last more than 2 to 5 years? Same company. Same concept. I guess I'll check tv repair communities.

    The prices of TVs are actually much more expensive this year than last year. Maybe I will wait for the Black Friday next year. Good unboxing.

    • @vapeking466
      @vapeking466 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah probably due to the inflation and shipping issues. This tv is $248 this year.

      @@vapeking466 Haha. I just bought it. It is not a smart TV but it is perfect for me cause I am using it as my computer monitor. My 43 inch LG HD TV has been there for 7 years. So, I suppose it won't last too much longer.

      No. It's heavy.
      Lift up on the box to see if it's heavy for you before you unpack it and have somebody help you before you pull it out if you need to.

    Can you connect to wifi with this tv

    • @therealWoD
      @therealWoD  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You would need to connect a device to it such as a fire stick, roku, Chromecast, or maybe a gaming system.
      I don't see a reason for just the TV itself.

    Got mine today, delivery was delayed 3 days, got left it at the door, thank goodness I was home too.
    I'm not using cable can't set up to stream? It only asks for antenna, nothing shows on HDMI mode?
    It's 4K so you don't need a stick right?!
    The menu doesn't show much. How can I use Bluetooth to connect to my soundboard, or download apps?

    • @BaawBee
      @BaawBee ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's not a smart tv so no built in wi-fi or Bluetooth

    • @kjohn0347
      @kjohn0347 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's a "dumb" tv with no apps, like older tv's are, so you need to hook up a streaming device (like a Roku) or plug in a bluray player or game console.

    This guy stands the products on the floor RUNNING THE GREAT RISK OF DAMAGING THE P E R T R U D I N G. sensor on the lower right corner ( when lit it is blue)
