Another Excellent episode Pat! 🙂 Yeah the OJN is certainly reeling. They are currently scouring the mainland for planes and Bamboo! Probably should consider resupplying your planes on the carriers and beginning the search for the Hizen! Hope all is well with you and yours! Take Care! Until the next episode! 🙂
Nice episode, saw it early this morning in Washington State but I had a Pabst Blue ribbon with my sausage and eggs.. I figured it was noon in Germany...
_TAPS_ to the Fine crew of Juneau! Though she "took one for the Team", the Team was elsewhere. That "Sortie of 40" was not intended to bag a few wounded ducks! _....try again Isoroku!_
Yeah, youre right, it was in torpedo junction, not the Solomon sea. Brutal part was they assumed all hands lost, but that was not the case. Some of them boys (including two of the Sullivans, if I recall) spent several days adrift. Brutal story.
Saw you on my YT feed this morning...💥. Got my errands done, a 6 pack of Labatts Blue, and I'm ready to Rock! You're my favorite Paaat! Keep it up brother!
Paaat, you made Mrs. Sullivan angry again. Dear Mrs. Sullivan, Im sorry for the lost of your sons, but i got new pack Coors original. You know how much that costs these days? Oh, but i did save some destroyers and killed a carrier. So buck up and grab some popcorn, daddy is coming home. Sincerely awesome, Paaaat
@@ItsPaaat Dear Mrs. Sullivan, I regret to inform you from my ladt letter that last pack of Coors was actually stored in my refrigerator a week ago....a national tragedy. I know you would understand the pain I feel about that mistake. Torpedoed my whole day. Yet, the Coors didnt kill me, but i am drowning down deep in the depth of my rocky mountain ale. God i loved that beer. However, I will get my fleet of battleships soon and make the fans happy. Sincerely inebriated, Paaat
@@mclovinU2night lol....jeebus dude, let me try here... Dear Mrs. Sullivan, I regret to inform you that the USS Juneau has been lost. Your boys, who were strong and proud, fought off the Japanese with honor. Their commander, who shall go unnamed, put them in harm's way which resulted in the loss of the USS Juneau. Said commander has been thoroughly chastized by the USN chat command, and he extends his apologies. However, your boys aquitted themselves well and fought off both IJN interlopers and the local sealife, and I am happy to report that they will report home soon. Their commander will be duly disciplined with extreme prejudice, because he is a dumbass. Best regards, CINCPAC

Almost there Greg, only a few day targets left. I'll do my best, sir! Good to see ya.
Yeppers. Guam overdue for a Drach-scaping job. Some BB's out of dock might need take care of that :)
Cant let those shells go to waste, for sure.
@@ItsPaaatNo-can do. Them fliers sank the Juneau. Time to show them what the dark side of the moon looks like, I think.
“Why are you shooting up my poor little banged up ships”, says the guy who moments before blasted a light carrier with 15” guns, 😂😂😂😂😂
You’re not wearing your Navy hats!! Great episode as always. It’s Paat Halsey!!
Lol. I'll need one with some scrambled eggs.... Dont have a command hat, but might look into it. Cheers bud!
Great episode. I guess the poor Sullivan brothers just aren't meant to make it through the war.
Apparently not, unfortunately. But we did have some small boys in the area, so I'm hopeful that it worked out a bit better for them.
The navel observatory is getting all of these amazing ships added to their ranks. Let bombs rain supreme, and let slip the dogs of war.
Haha! But we're running out of rabbits here...
Another Paaat! Video? HELL YEAH!
Gotcha covered buddy! Good to see you too.

It's 5 o'clock somewhere! 😂
Lol! PBR and coffee are basically interchangeable, so no worries!

Ehh, it was my bad sending them past Guam like that. Salright, we'll make em pay...
Damn. Losing the Juneau. Such a shame, particularly with the Sullivans
Them boys just cant catch a break. At least we have some destroyers in the area, so id like to think their outlook was a bit better here.
@@ItsPaaat true. Here’s hoping. Plus she sank a lot more slowly than her original sinking
Seeing the Royal Navy do battle and winning means a lot being British. R-I-P Juneau though. Didn't the real one have The Sullivan brothers on?
all the sullivan brothers
The RN shoots straight, thats for sure. Glad I got them here.
FYI, Uss Juneau was lost off of Guadalcanal not in the Solomon Sea. Japanese sub hit her with a fish and detonated her magazine. RIP

@@ItsPaaatThey all are. I had nightmares for a long time after I read the story of the USS Indianapolis.
Please consider turning on your sonar when in surface combat it will help you detect torpedoes at no disadvantage to you
Oh nice, did not know that. I'll try it next time, dude. Thanks!

Labatts is never a bad choice, day or night. Best always dude!
Hammer time
Always a good time...
Time to go scrape off Guam. No more need to cap your surface fleets in that area.
Amen to that!
Yup. BB shells inbound. Standby to fire...

Well you sent the Juneau, Perkins and Smith straight through Guam's control zone so you MUST have wanted them to be intercepted. Right?
Uhh, no, not exactly. But did get lazy there, so that's a fair point.
Thanks for the episode. could we try Operation Cartwheel? stay safe
Hey jon. Maybe, not sure how to do that without starting up an entire new series. Will see here, but kinda waiting for TFA to drop here.
Who needs to travel to the bellagio water show. When you got this water show here! @35:10
Warspite at 11,000 yards on a cruiser?
