Clint Brooks Thanks for the kind words! There are lots of different ways people play this tune, but it is how I play it. Everybody does it a little different. Thanks for watching!

thks very helpful going through it slowly for us as it's such a fast tune to play

Thanks for watching! It is a fast tune, but I like it at a more easy going tempo. That way you get to hear all the notes.

Another great lesson:-) this tune reminds me of "the little beggerman" from Scotland originally I guess

Great lesson, you made this very easy to learn. I tried learning it from various sources and noticed there are quite a lot of variation in how the tune is arranged. In example there is a version where the pick up notes are A F# E and then the A major scale is played up until F#. How come there are so large variations? Is it because this is one of those tunes that have become popular in sevreal musical traditions?

Thanks for the great lessons. You present the material well. Beginner here and you have helped a lot. Since you are providing content on the internet may I suggest adding a crypto currency address for donations. LTC or BCH, very convenient and easy for everybody.
