I’ve been playing Mandolin for a week and I managed to learn this song . That speaks very positively of your ability to teach . Thanks for making this video .

You have inspired me to take out my dusty mandolin which I received for my 22nd birthday. Since discovering your channel, brushing off the dust and going through your beginner series, you have continued to motivate me over the last 2 months. I've kept my mandolin at arms reach from my desk which I now play a range of fiddle tunes every day after work. You make learning a new tune something to look forward to with the help of your clear instruction and obvious passion of playing. You proved your skill at the end of this video and can say you deserve a larger audience, if I could shake your hand I would! I hope to play Arkansas Traveller like that one day...

You have great patience to show this tune breakdown to us on the other end of the tube. A most high thank you. I play banjo and at times it can be very trying to get something across to someone until they have a grasp on the tune. Your can relate an idea to someone in a manner that's pleasant to follow.

Eastern Cowboy I am also trying to transfer from banjo to mandolin, and these are so helpful!

I got a free mandolin when I ordered my son's 1st guitar a month ago. I have been practicing Arkansas Traveler along with you since. You are a great teacher. Having never played before I can play along with you now (I slow down a little at the end, but another week & I'll be quicker.) Thanks for keeping the tradition of bluegrass alive. I'm not Kristina, I'm Tom.

This is that tune that you hear in the old cartoons, usually when there's hillbillies or a barnyard. Nice pkaying, inspiring me to play again after many years away from the instrument!

I recently inherited a fiddle and have played mandolin for about year but fiddle is about as gracefull as two left feet in a right footed soccor game.

Hello, I love your lessons , there are so clear , i learn Sailor Hornpipe and Cindy with your tutoriels. Is it possible to have a tutorial for Brilliancy by Sam Bush , there is no tabs or videos on the net and It's my favorite mandolin tune . Thanks you so much for your work ;) ( sorry for the mistake , i'm french )
