Bestselling author R.L. Stine, best know for his spine-tingling "Goosebumps" series of children's horror, marked the final interview at the world famous CBR Tiki Room at New York Comic Con 2013. Stine sat down with Jonah Weiland to talk about 21 years of "Goosebumps," the book's unforeseen success, how he always wanted to be funny rather than scary, how he read horror comics without his mom finding out and what keeps him motivated. They also discuss Stine's non-prose efforts including "R.L. Stine's Haunting Hour" TV series and an update on the "Goosebumps" movie -- including which actor will play him in the film.
27 years old here. I remember reading Goosebump books from 1994-1996. When I lived in Virginia Beach, every kid on the bus was reading Goosebumps.
Single most nostalgic book series of all time.
i hope R.L Stine live for ever
Francis Orozco wow me too
This guy taught me to read.
me too! when I was 14 I memorized some of his book and used to chant them as a game to my little sister.
I still remember a little today.

Rl stine is a awesome guy
I will read his book under the desk at school when the boring class was going on
BLIND DATE IS MY FAVOURITE BOOK!! If you read Fear Street, you'll see connections! Even though BD is not a Fear Street book, there's connections!
goosebumps comics would be awesome
GOOSEBUMPS was first book that I have read it make me reading bug
i got the "six plot" thing a long time ago i just didn't understand it as much as i do now
i'm watching the goosebumps movie now and my main takeaway so far is jack black is AWFUL. he does this weird british accent baby talk thing that is so stupid and nothing like stine. i really dont know why hollywood keeps hiring him, given he can only play one role- himself.
RL stein is awsome. I read him all the time in grade school. Its a shame this interviewer keeps cutting him off when he's about to say something interesting.
Heyy, i am 20, and now still reading
Who else is a company to me
Wow
I’m 9
he looks like conan obrian
I really wish Harry Potter dies soon because goosebumps can be the best
