You missed a few things about stigmata. You forgot to mention that only those without stigmata(or not chosen) will be turn into the hive mind, merging with all nonhuman life and Earth itself, to make a whole new planet/planet like thing. With the project creating new entities(forms) that basically a copypaste sim of every human to have existed in the current era. To live on this newly created planet alongside the stigmata awaken. There also the issue that the Humans in the hivemind would've awoken in 10yrs and cause the whole thing to collapse. Rendering the whole thing pointless. That and the undeniable garnteed war between the stigmata awaken and the form, over you know the whole identity theft/skinwalker esk situation. That and the amount of John wicks that would be angry to learn that their pets cease to exist(as project stigmata only saved and put Humans into dreams, while converting everything else into imagery space). Quite literally Kevin was basically sacrificing Humanity for computer Sims. Not really saving Humanity at the end of the day. Just replacing it with Ai replicas. Also Kevin's favorite why do birds lines are totally reference to Artorius(tales of Berseria), who used that phase and enacted a similar plan to Kevin. Though he was going to turn Humanity in emotionless robots forever instead of sacrificing them all to Ai replicas. Though it should be noted that Kevin takes Velvet's(mc that opposed Artorius) answer to Artorius' question. Honestly final arc Kevin is one massive reference to final arc Artorius. Should really check out Berseria to see just how much the two overlap. About Kevin getting 50k into the future, was perfectly summed up as cryosleep. Being trapped in the SoQ didn't really do anything about getting into the future. Not sure why you used that as an example. Since that makes the whole thing even more confusing and gives off the wrong idea.
Edit to my last comment More on Kevin's project stigmata, specifically about creating replicas of all humans to exist in ce(or all of humanity since it's conception, excluding pe since to was basically reset to 50k yrs into the past and erased.) It also fails to mention how it will deal with millions If not billions of different cultures that rang from immaturity to modern day standards and all the killers and those that committed atrocities. This is just a massive powderkeg that Kevin's created and it will blow up in his face. Then again this is the revised planed, created by an organization that tricked people into being experimented on, with traitors either becoming human experiments or meets a fate similar to the bio-mechanical zombies or the bio-computers(like Neno in arc city) for world serpent to use any way they want. Mind you, this guy didn't stop any of this when he got back from his imprisonment. And he just accepted their project plan with little pushback. It'll be an even greater miracle then defeating the Honkai for this or really any version of project stigmata to have worked, but especially this version. Jumping into a bat of acid makes more logical sense then this clusterfuck of a slow agonizing death of the species.
The crossover has left me relatively certain that Sparkle is Aha's current meat puppet. The way she is treated in the meta-narrative of the games, the lore feats and behavior of Aha and the already defined minimum requirements needed for her to be able to sightsee like this in the first place makes it the best option for her real identity.
This makes me wonder what her score is on the power gun (sorry forgot the name) in Hertas Space station. Because emanators have a score of undefined. So I would be curious if she was the same.
@@Sinking_ Sparkle has a score of 55 on the rating pistol. Which is even more suspicious if the "Rating Invalid" means emanator theory is right. Sampo (who has a Rating Invalid) has to obey her to get his mask, like she was his superior. And while it makes sense that an Emanator cannot hide their status (it is imposed by their Aeon after all) the Aeons themselves are capable of hiding their status, even from other Aeons (see Aha in the express).
When you showed Kosma in 12:26 I remembered the real purpose of Project Ark and it made me tear up bad holyy. He wasn't supposed to venture out in the universe to find a habitable planet, his mission was to hide until annihilation came, then return to earth and spread the kindlings over his comrades 'bodies'. All to ignite civilization again. 😭
another reason to praise hoyo for being so loyal to their philosophy. I have seen tons of unreasonable criticism to their plot choices but at the end of the day I could never find myself agreeing with them cause I play these same games of hoyo and I see this philosophy of theirs right there - and the journey of hoyoverse games is actually inspiring and very creative. those people to reduce and undervalue games like genshin, hsr, zzz to simple gachas and "only endgame matters" styled games is just insane to me, these are literally works of art imho
16:21 To add to this, we’re also about to get a character who seems to share similarities with Acheron: Castorice. Both characters are related to a river in hell after all, with Acheron being named after the river Acheron and Castorice being described as “the Daughter of the River Styx” in the Amphoreus trailer. This may imply that Castorice, like Acheron, is an Emanator of Nihility.
@@TacticalAlphaCharlie Emanators are people who have gained the recognition of an Aeon which thus allows them to directly draw power from that Aeon’s Path. An Aeon can recognize anyone and as many individuals as they want. Heck, Aha made a worm their Emanator at some point. We also know of organizations that has Emanators in positions of power such as the IPC and the Genius Society.

I am surprised I never had your channeled recommended until now. I been playing all 4 games and started HI3rd in 2019. (though earlier if you count none global). Everything you said really resonated with me as a player. I been watching a lot of Content creators who don't fully read the story or understand it and say confusing things and seeing what you said makes me really happy. Yeah. I wish for the Flamechaser variants to have a happier ending, especially Pardofelis (the cat girl). Her story in HI3 is just so tragic, but epic at the same time, I want to see her live through whatever self-sacrifice she is forced into. Context: Pardofelis is a plain street hussler. She ended up among the 13 heroes out of pure coincidence. She is the weakest and never wanted to be a hero, but she ended up going out like one by sacrificing herself to give the others a chance to escape (twice if you include what her copy did in the Elysian Realm)
I feel like Tribbie could be referencing Vill-V with her multiple faces. A lot of the Amphoreus characters can be linked to the Flame-chasers (except, surprisingly, Hua, but she was mentioned as being the marshal of the Xianzhou so maybe there’s something there) through their descriptions. Aglaea the gold weaver could be referring to Eden who carries the gold signet for example. The girl in the red silhouette shown in the trailer looks weirdly similar to Senti so maybe that’s a thing too
If the Garden of Recollection only has a "memory" of Amphoreus, than the planets history could be who knows how old. So maybe Hua survived and made her way to the Xianzhou, eventually becoming the Marshall thousands of years ago and lives to this day. I guess we'll find out when the story releases!
COULD be. Granted B4 people start jumping into the omg x character is this expy and that variant. For them to be variants or expy they need to look similar if not identical. Only 2 of these characters are similar to Hi3rd's flamechaser.
8:19 well, let me throw a little bit of fuel in the fire of the whole expy thing. Right now we don't know if the universe is infinite or finite. We have an edge to what we can see (what we refer to as the observable universe) but we know it goes beyond that just on math alone. And if we focus on the idea that the universe is infinite, then that includes the possibility of another You out there, in another Earth, over and over, to infinity. So this could technically be used to explain why we have almost carbon copies of the characters between both franchises, or characters who are similar. Hoyoverse might just be in an infinite universe.
@@raven2785 Or hoyoverse just add 'another version' of the same characters from a previous series because they knew that these characters will sell a lot more. Based on what we know so far and vita's own dialogues in 7.8, the entire HI3 is confirmed to have happened in the solar system only in the 'Universe'(which in this case is actually just a galactic structure) that is the imaginary tree. Your logic is possible but it seems like based on statements, everything that happened so far is within a galactic structure only so it doesn't make sense for another version of 'You' to exist in just a galaxy with a countable number of stars and planets. It's just a marketing strategy.

@@GolgothianSylex 1. I'm referring in-verse, the entire HI3 happened only within the solar system despite many shenanigans like higher dimensional places. I've played FGO so I know very well about these things as they are very common as well. 2. It's still the same thing even if certain characters are from genshin(instead of HI3)--simply because it would sell more as well, someone like Acheron being another version of Mei too is one of the reasons as well because HI3 players who are playing HSR will most likely pull for her even if HI3 playerbase are not as many, it's still extra cash. There's also the fact that Genshin seems to have happened in the same universe as well according to the manga where it's located somewhere in SoQ and the traveler cameo in the robin trailer. The history of teyvat also seems to point out something about the 'Heavens separating itself from the universe' which might just be the entire universe where HI3 and HSR happened as well.

Also from 1.5 it is known that Solar System is separated by some kind of wild IMG barrier which is absolute wall for everyone who don't have SoQ jumping technology/Aeons' blessing. Still, universe is infinite and houses similar things given enough distance - read Tegmark Multiverses for that. Also, like Nasu, but his explanations of multiverse are wacky at best. 2. SoQ are the second medium of worlds - Teyvat happens in another world. It is separated due to Phanes not wanting intervention, and it is separated from everything. HI3 fans are so non-existent that you are actually losing more from including reference compared to not doing it.
Uhhh, I think you should probably play Honkai a bit, or watch some of Homu Lab's videos While Genshin/ZZZ/Star Rail don't delve into the topics of Isotopes/Variants, Honkai does a lot, and it's the one that explains the Honkaiverse in the most depth, compared to perhaps Star Rail where even Zandar's Theory is the most accepted despite being canonically flawed/incorrect by how the cosmology actually works
I think that the flamebearers of amphoreus have taken the roles and looks of the flamechasers, but kinda mixed it together. Like a big pot of soup. Take Aglaea for example. Her title is goldweaver, and gold is the symbol of eden. However Aglaea is also tied to prophecy through “weaving the threads of fate”. Also the path of remembrance, which Aglaea walks upon, is tied not just to past but also prophecy since glimpses into the aeon fuli’s eden of blessed insight would allow for a glimpse into the future and black swan, who is a memokeeper of remembrance, has tarot theme weaved into her design.However destiny is not Eden’s theme but Aponia’s theme. Which would make Aglaea a mix of Eden and Aponia. I think the rest of the flamebearers will be like this too. Where either the theme/role or the design is from a flamechaser and the other part (either the theme OR design, depending on which is mirroring a flamechaser) is from a different character altogether. So you can take castorice, who has visual similarities with aponia, and give her a totally different role allowing for more creative freedom and a separate and unique story. Cuz i doubt the writers want to just copy elysian realm. Nor do i think the players would be happy with that either. Anyway sorry for the long rant Tldr: flamebearers may look like flamechasers but act or function completely different.
Yeah that philosophy reads crystal clear in my opinion. Every time I play a story quest in their games, I feel like they are directly talking to me and hope that I personally will have and help build a better future.
Commenting again bc I just finished watching the video. I really like Hoyo's take on using a character and putting them in different scenarios to make a variant of that character. They are literally making their own AUs canon XD Also, that ending part about the devs wanting to make a story that would bring hope and happiness to others. From playing Genshin, I can definitely see it. I'm sure ZZZ will also get there someday since I can feel it going towards a story like that, but it's too early to say for sure.

Desperately praying that the 3 shadowy flamechasers are variants of Yae, Mobius, and Senti (or maybe Kalpas). And I’m 90% sure the similarity between Gil and Mydei is so that they can just give him a skin to turn him into Gilgamesh 😭 especially since despite being a servant, he’s a lot harder to turn into a Remembrance character due to his… special circumstances. I think the same goes for Clara getting a skin to turn her into Illya (which honestly would mean this collab has been planned for WAY long). Then Shirou + Saber, Rin + Archer, Kuzuki + Caster Medea, and maybe non Remembrance for Rider, Sasaki Kyojiro Assassin, Lancer. Also tbh if they skip anyone, im betting they won’t include Caster + Kuzuki, neither Assassin, and although Cu Chulain is popular, im not sure if they’d make that many new characters/animations or not. If they do everyone then i’d really be impressed. Maybe Aglaea could become Caster + Saber from that bit when she took control of her, just so it’s less new characters. Either way im wishing for mercy for my wallet 😭 Im actually so excited for this collab dude i cant.
this is a great video, as someone who has no idea what HI3 is, it gave me a lot of insight on the world of the game- and a look into the developers design ethos which was really cool! Unrelated, I've recently been calling honkai starrail just honkista rail (spoken as you would say conquistador) and i think more people should start saying it because its really funny i think
Something that really helps with understanding the "core" of variant characters is Raiden, I think. In Genshin, HSR, and HI3 (and of course, GGZ), Raidens are vastly different characters, but they are all built upon an obsession over something. For Mei, it's her obsession over Kiana, for Ei, it's an obsession over Eternity, and for Acheron, it's her obsession over reaching IX. Idk, just thought it was neat.
Meanwhile here I am trying to find out what’s happening to my boy Su, bro the manga has him after he died stuck in a weird chess against a higher being that says it hasn’t seen humans in a while like bro where is HE who is he even playing chess with like please please please Su in HSR 😭😭 (like it could be a aeon, right??)
The thing Su ends up with is FAR above the Aeons (at least the ones we know) since it's unfathomably old going by the way it talks and seems to hold the answers to reality it's self rather than just some "concept" like "destroying things real well". A good theory I've seen is that it was SUPPOSED to be MiHoYo seeding the Way for the GGZ style Outter God's ( who are an order above The Imaginary Tree, quite literally *above the universe* ) but they decided against it because that could get...fucky...

The Flame Chasers are my favourite characters too. I'd be so happy to see a Kosma or Fu Hua variant in Star Rail. But also, to me, Star Rail Seele is.... nothing like HI3rd Seele. Unless she's intended to only be the red personality? I dunno, I feel like HI3rd Seele would end up more like Clara than what we got.

You are referring to bronie and the event you played is part of the "captainverse" chain of limited events Captainverse is a name given by the fandom because the main character in those events is you the captain
i havent play hi3 and i only know the very basics of the lore, but im so much more excited for amphoreus now, like i was already really excited but i CANNOT WAIT
The variant system sounds like Homestuck's Ultimate Selves. That'sea bazillion timelines and doomed timelines and retcon timelines etc in the multiverse of Homestuck, but just about every character (or at least the player characters, though Dad is an interesting one as he's not a player but there's 2 exact versions of him) has some kind of Ultimate Self that determines the core principles of that timeline's version of themselves. Every Dave Strider or Vriska Serket or whatever will have certain physical and psychological characteristics that are unmistakenably theirs, though as you said different circumstances will lead to them making different choices - this is at the heart of Homestuck really especially the Epilogues. There are a couple of characters that ascend to they Ultimate Self, but that usually involves the death of their Earth self and is implied to be not a great endeavor.
I paused the video to look at your predictions for the 13 matches and let me tell you, the whiplash I felt seeing Seradina and Gilgamesh there made me question my entire memory of the Flamechasers and who the members were to the point in a moment of pure confusion I googled "Gilgamesh Honkai Impact 3" because I thought there was a character that somehow completely disappeared from my recollection
As the first Hoyoverse title without "Honkai" or "Impact" in the title since Genshin's release, do you believe that Zenless Zone Zero will ever directly connect to Star Rail's universe? I haven't played Honkai Impact 3rd, but I was able to find that Ether energy is almost exactly the same as Honkai energy, as well as the Elysia expy being part of the first generation of void hunters.
I'd love to see another interview like this, but including the whole Honkai series (Gunz Girl Z, HI3, Genshin, and HSR) because they're connections to each other run really deep, and sometimes it's nice to hear updates on GGZ despite its lack of western servers Also, there is a Houkai Gakuen (1) but it's very dead, at least GGZ *has* active servers in CN and JP
There's so much potential for fun and great stuff, however there's also so much room for either disappointment or mess up. There's a lot of things they need to make sure about, character consistency, if they're an expy to make sure the audience understands it, to make a story good from both fanbases, to avoid making the players from one base need to play the other game to understand concepts or important plot points AND not make it too slow for players that play both games.

That's actually the point of Penacony arc. To be fair, if you really played and understand HI3, you will notice that the story in Star Rail is going backwards.
Similar on that one aspect, but the actual purpose and end goal of them are entirely different plus Kevin also has a completely opposite viewpoint of Sunday's. The people who are dreaming in Project Stigma are considered necessary sacrifices given a peaceful dream, not people who are really meant to be saved.

@@GolgothianSylex It was necessary because it has to be done for Project Stigma to work, and they are sacrifices because they do not get to actually be part of the newly redefined humanity that's built on top of them being put to sleep. Whether they think they suffer or they're having a good time or not is irrelevant; they were forced there and are being used. Not everyone was having a good dream even. We also saw people who just gave up on doing anything while surrounded by other negative people like them. They're just left there because the point is for them to remain ignorant of their situation and so they won't try or want to wake up.
Oh it gets way more complicated than that. Because Welt ends up in the Star Rail universe during a manga that takes place After a post honkai Oddyssey of which only two parts are out so far and part two of Honkai impact 3rd takes place BEFORE APHO so Sparkle and Sampo arrived in the Honkai Verse BEFORE Welt got to their universe.
I like the acorn analogy you have but there is more to it than that. Different character variants often have a change to the core which leads things taking different paths than they would have without it. Kiana and Kevin (as confirmed by Kevin's first introducion to the verse in GGZ), and Su and Vita are examples of this. They have swapped genders which led them to going down very different paths which still hold true to the core of the character. Different variants also get mixed together with parts of other characters, which leads to more changes. It's almost never a straight drop of a character core into a planet, there are usually always some variants in what makes that character on top of it. Variants and everything that applies to it also applies to more than characters. It applies to locations, organisations, civilisations, catastrophes, and practically every other element that makes the world up. Firemoth being in Belobog. The very Honkai like catastrophe in Izumo. Many different elements make up the worlds, and many of them are meant to be recognisable in this different setting.

The honkaiverse take places in the Imaginary tree and each Honkai story exist in a different "leaf" saparately. Question, 1. Does each story belong to only one leaf or a certain story is hosted on multiple leaf? 2. If yes or not, does that affect the individual story lore to each other? (Its power, narrative, or Influence) What I meam is, if Honkai story take only in one leaf and that fact effect on the lore then Honkai Impact 3rd is more Concentrated because in one leaf only featured its solar system meanwhile Honkai Star Rail will be more Scattered. Something like "HI3 is deep but narrow and HSR is Wide but Shallow" This comment are not meant to be a powerscalling bait but a honest question. Beside, i believe if its one Leaf, no matter how strong individual is, if its verse to verse then it will be equal, One leaf is one leaf basicly

HSR story = Everything that happened in Imaginary Tree (universe events) HI3 story = only earth solar system and SoQ + character development (one leaf) So if universal scale disaster happens in HSR in the future, it's could also affect HI3 if the devs decided to included this events in the HI3 storyline
What do you think about the possible connection between HSR and GENSHIN ? So far, the story of Amphoreus seems to closely mirrors Teyvat's early history : _ Teyvat is also an isolated world. _ we know its first human civilisation was Greek themed (if Enkonomiya is anything to go by). _ that Unified Civilization also fell appart because of a "Heretical Black Tide From Beyond the Sky" (Forbidden Knowledge, brought by the Second Who Came). _ the "creator" Titans are divided into four groups, and each group seems to have a power associated with 1 of the 4 Shades (SPACE, TIME, LIFE, DEATH) _ character design is reminiscent of Genshin : most notably for ANAXA, who couldn't be more KHAENRI'AHN coded. _ i'm calling it : Mydei is a ZHONGLI expy !

Honestly am so far satisfied with their worldbuilding right now. I've loved HSR so far but I've tried HI3 many times and have come to loath it due to it never hooking me. I did the recent collaboration event and actually didn't mind it too much and was satisfied with how they approached it. However, I am a little worried just how much is the next world going to be more honkai as opposed to mythology.
Have you considered doing a flame chasers primer video for the HSR onlies? I've seen a lot of streamers asking their chat for one, but I don't think a plot summary is quite what they need, for starters ER/EE is just too dense of a plot to succinctly summarise without leaving gaps or being hard to follow. More importantly I think a lot of existing summaries focus too much on plot (which honestly I don't think HSR will retread very closely) and not enough on the characters, their personalities or arcs, which is where their variants (or isotopes as the devs say) are going to most strongly relate to or parallel them.
I knew both games are in the same universe also. Void archives is in amphoreous...hint the last portraits of the characters in the amphoreous trailer. Also the portrait i'm talking about is the one that has fire in the right hand. Also the portrait next to that one seems to be march.
regarding the end segment, the squirrel area from this years' genshin summer event brought SUCH PEACE to my mind, history might repeat itself but this iteration only belongs to US is such an ANTI DOOMER STATEMENT it's stucking with me as a cornertone of my willingness to face real life events like nothing before.
Sparkle is perfect literally because what she does are often nonsensical just to caused a little fun, and what's more fun than travelling to a different universe, hide your own memory, and play a game with others as if you're oblivious, the fact that a cross-over is confusing and mysterious makes Sparkle ever the more suited for this role

i once read a book about the qabbalah, it talks about karma, paralel universes, tree of life, flower of life, the tarot, the stars, our creators, the meaning of elohim, the meaning of true translation from the hebrew of famous books, after i played all three games i undertood the "meaning of the journey" of mihoyo im pretty much convinced that their games are about this "occult" thing, the true purpose is to become god. take a look at kiana she gathered all the powers that represent some kind of wisdom to become the god of the earth, the traveler is doing the same with the elements and the trailblazer too, its described in the qabbalah, you must do a path through the tree of life, its also described in hinduism as ascending into nirvana, its about going out of a cycle, all 3 games are going through a infinte cycle, a cycle of karma, wich we save the world, and i say "we" as ourselves looking at the screen, yes the "fourth wall" is very important here, because the abyss is a reflection of ourselves, a mirror, all games are a mirror of ourselves
Maybe not Acheron, but I'm 100% sure we're getting a variant of Dr. MEI in Amphoreus and will play a similar role as Mei in ER... I don't really think they can separate Kevin from Dr. MEI
Pretty sure with HSR and the Trailblazers they can literally crossover other hoyo games. Also also, pretty sure KlapASS is an alien. Also, Acheron is a "Kiana-less" Mei
In the case of the Sakura variant, she might actually be Sakura's younger sister, Rin. So far in every iteration of them, Rin always dies, either from illness or by becoming a Herrscher. Perhaps in Amphoreus, it's Rin who survives this time...

this is probably a weird thing to speculate but I'm wondering if any of this has a tie in with genshin given there are clearly expys from honkai there also. as in... im curious if theres gonna end up being some sort of deep lore link. possibly something to do with the fact that teyvat is a literal ark, that which we have no idea the purpose of. im predicting we will eventually have something like this in genshin but its not gonna be even remotely close to as obvious as welt being the literal welt from honkai.
I do like the dev quote at the end about nit giving in to Nihilism but it's the more reason I can't expect how penacony story concluded in 2.3 it doesn't have that to it if I'm being honest I hope that will be something they'll show in 3.x story and hopefully no more doing multiple fake death shenanigans and things happening off screen

Ok, so I have some questions and thoughts I need answered, so anyone who knows feel free to chime in. I thought HSR was in a different universe from HI3rd. I am still playing through HI3rd (at a very slow pace) but I heard people say this the HSR universe is a different universe along the imaginary tree. Is this thought wrong, or rather, does the cross over between games prove that both Honkai games exist in the same universe? If not, how did our favorite fools travel to the HI3rd universe?
I'm still confused about 1 thing, is it actually confirmed if the two games in the same universe or alternate universes? It all makes less sense to me if they are in the same universe, and I haven't read/played all the bits that might explain it (though I also don't know if it ultimately matters one way or the other).
They're in the same universe, the Honkaiverse It functions like a type III Multiverse, where the Sea of Quanta is one half and the Imagniary Tree is the other half
By Honkai's own cosmology they are the same universe. It's just a confusion happens a lot with terms and the translations used. When we normally think of parallel timelines and alternate realities, we assume that they're entirely different universes in a 'multiverse', but for Honkai all these parallel/alternate realities we see are considered 'worlds' within one 'universe' because the universe in question here is one Imaginary Tree. Since there might still be other universes outside of this Imaginary Tree, then you can't call it a 'multiverse' when we haven't seen outside of this one 'universe'(the Imaginary Tree).
All these responses just sounds like an overly verbose way of saying it's a multiverse, just not how you'd normally conceive of it (the DC or Marvel Multiverses as simple but still sometimes confusing examples), with HSR in one universe and HI3 in separate one, or not, no one agrees. LOL

You missed a few things about stigmata. You forgot to mention that only those without stigmata(or not chosen) will be turn into the hive mind, merging with all nonhuman life and Earth itself, to make a whole new planet/planet like thing. With the project creating new entities(forms) that basically a copypaste sim of every human to have existed in the current era. To live on this newly created planet alongside the stigmata awaken.
There also the issue that the Humans in the hivemind would've awoken in 10yrs and cause the whole thing to collapse. Rendering the whole thing pointless. That and the undeniable garnteed war between the stigmata awaken and the form, over you know the whole identity theft/skinwalker esk situation. That and the amount of John wicks that would be angry to learn that their pets cease to exist(as project stigmata only saved and put Humans into dreams, while converting everything else into imagery space).
Quite literally Kevin was basically sacrificing Humanity for computer Sims. Not really saving Humanity at the end of the day. Just replacing it with Ai replicas.
Also Kevin's favorite why do birds lines are totally reference to Artorius(tales of Berseria), who used that phase and enacted a similar plan to Kevin. Though he was going to turn Humanity in emotionless robots forever instead of sacrificing them all to Ai replicas. Though it should be noted that Kevin takes Velvet's(mc that opposed Artorius) answer to Artorius' question. Honestly final arc Kevin is one massive reference to final arc Artorius. Should really check out Berseria to see just how much the two overlap.
About Kevin getting 50k into the future, was perfectly summed up as cryosleep. Being trapped in the SoQ didn't really do anything about getting into the future. Not sure why you used that as an example. Since that makes the whole thing even more confusing and gives off the wrong idea.

More on Kevin's project stigmata, specifically about creating replicas of all humans to exist in ce(or all of humanity since it's conception, excluding pe since to was basically reset to 50k yrs into the past and erased.)
It also fails to mention how it will deal with millions If not billions of different cultures that rang from immaturity to modern day standards and all the killers and those that committed atrocities. This is just a massive powderkeg that Kevin's created and it will blow up in his face.
Then again this is the revised planed, created by an organization that tricked people into being experimented on, with traitors either becoming human experiments or meets a fate similar to the bio-mechanical zombies or the bio-computers(like Neno in arc city) for world serpent to use any way they want. Mind you, this guy didn't stop any of this when he got back from his imprisonment. And he just accepted their project plan with little pushback.
It'll be an even greater miracle then defeating the Honkai for this or really any version of project stigmata to have worked, but especially this version. Jumping into a bat of acid makes more logical sense then this clusterfuck of a slow agonizing death of the species.

And while it makes sense that an Emanator cannot hide their status (it is imposed by their Aeon after all) the Aeons themselves are capable of hiding their status, even from other Aeons (see Aha in the express).

Her story in HI3 is just so tragic, but epic at the same time, I want to see her live through whatever self-sacrifice she is forced into.
Context: Pardofelis is a plain street hussler. She ended up among the 13 heroes out of pure coincidence. She is the weakest and never wanted to be a hero, but she ended up going out like one by sacrificing herself to give the others a chance to escape (twice if you include what her copy did in the Elysian Realm)
I feel like Tribbie could be referencing Vill-V with her multiple faces. A lot of the Amphoreus characters can be linked to the Flame-chasers (except, surprisingly, Hua, but she was mentioned as being the marshal of the Xianzhou so maybe there’s something there) through their descriptions. Aglaea the gold weaver could be referring to Eden who carries the gold signet for example.
The girl in the red silhouette shown in the trailer looks weirdly similar to Senti so maybe that’s a thing too

If the Garden of Recollection only has a "memory" of Amphoreus, than the planets history could be who knows how old. So maybe Hua survived and made her way to the Xianzhou, eventually becoming the Marshall thousands of years ago and lives to this day. I guess we'll find out when the story releases!
COULD be. Granted B4 people start jumping into the omg x character is this expy and that variant. For them to be variants or expy they need to look similar if not identical. Only 2 of these characters are similar to Hi3rd's flamechaser.

8:19 well, let me throw a little bit of fuel in the fire of the whole expy thing. Right now we don't know if the universe is infinite or finite. We have an edge to what we can see (what we refer to as the observable universe) but we know it goes beyond that just on math alone. And if we focus on the idea that the universe is infinite, then that includes the possibility of another You out there, in another Earth, over and over, to infinity. So this could technically be used to explain why we have almost carbon copies of the characters between both franchises, or characters who are similar. Hoyoverse might just be in an infinite universe.

Based on what we know so far and vita's own dialogues in 7.8, the entire HI3 is confirmed to have happened in the solar system only in the 'Universe'(which in this case is actually just a galactic structure) that is the imaginary tree. Your logic is possible but it seems like based on statements, everything that happened so far is within a galactic structure only so it doesn't make sense for another version of 'You' to exist in just a galaxy with a countable number of stars and planets.
It's just a marketing strategy.

1. I'm referring in-verse, the entire HI3 happened only within the solar system despite many shenanigans like higher dimensional places. I've played FGO so I know very well about these things as they are very common as well.
2. It's still the same thing even if certain characters are from genshin(instead of HI3)--simply because it would sell more as well, someone like Acheron being another version of Mei too is one of the reasons as well because HI3 players who are playing HSR will most likely pull for her even if HI3 playerbase are not as many, it's still extra cash. There's also the fact that Genshin seems to have happened in the same universe as well according to the manga where it's located somewhere in SoQ and the traveler cameo in the robin trailer. The history of teyvat also seems to point out something about the 'Heavens separating itself from the universe' which might just be the entire universe where HI3 and HSR happened as well.

1. Because it was Earth-centric story, now Mars. Also from 1.5 it is known that Solar System is separated by some kind of wild IMG barrier which is absolute wall for everyone who don't have SoQ jumping technology/Aeons' blessing. Still, universe is infinite and houses similar things given enough distance - read Tegmark Multiverses for that. Also, like Nasu, but his explanations of multiverse are wacky at best.
2. SoQ are the second medium of worlds - Teyvat happens in another world. It is separated due to Phanes not wanting intervention, and it is separated from everything.
HI3 fans are so non-existent that you are actually losing more from including reference compared to not doing it.

While Genshin/ZZZ/Star Rail don't delve into the topics of Isotopes/Variants, Honkai does a lot, and it's the one that explains the Honkaiverse in the most depth, compared to perhaps Star Rail where even Zandar's Theory is the most accepted despite being canonically flawed/incorrect by how the cosmology actually works

I think that the flamebearers of amphoreus have taken the roles and looks of the flamechasers, but kinda mixed it together. Like a big pot of soup.
Take Aglaea for example. Her title is goldweaver, and gold is the symbol of eden. However Aglaea is also tied to prophecy through “weaving the threads of fate”. Also the path of remembrance, which Aglaea walks upon, is tied not just to past but also prophecy since glimpses into the aeon fuli’s eden of blessed insight would allow for a glimpse into the future and black swan, who is a memokeeper of remembrance, has tarot theme weaved into her design.However destiny is not Eden’s theme but Aponia’s theme. Which would make Aglaea a mix of Eden and Aponia.
I think the rest of the flamebearers will be like this too. Where either the theme/role or the design is from a flamechaser and the other part (either the theme OR design, depending on which is mirroring a flamechaser) is from a different character altogether.
So you can take castorice, who has visual similarities with aponia, and give her a totally different role allowing for more creative freedom and a separate and unique story. Cuz i doubt the writers want to just copy elysian realm. Nor do i think the players would be happy with that either.
Anyway sorry for the long rant
Tldr: flamebearers may look like flamechasers but act or function completely different.
Yeah that philosophy reads crystal clear in my opinion. Every time I play a story quest in their games, I feel like they are directly talking to me and hope that I personally will have and help build a better future.
Commenting again bc I just finished watching the video. I really like Hoyo's take on using a character and putting them in different scenarios to make a variant of that character. They are literally making their own AUs canon XD
Also, that ending part about the devs wanting to make a story that would bring hope and happiness to others. From playing Genshin, I can definitely see it. I'm sure ZZZ will also get there someday since I can feel it going towards a story like that, but it's too early to say for sure.

And I’m 90% sure the similarity between Gil and Mydei is so that they can just give him a skin to turn him into Gilgamesh 😭 especially since despite being a servant, he’s a lot harder to turn into a Remembrance character due to his… special circumstances.
I think the same goes for Clara getting a skin to turn her into Illya (which honestly would mean this collab has been planned for WAY long).
Then Shirou + Saber, Rin + Archer, Kuzuki + Caster Medea, and maybe non Remembrance for Rider, Sasaki Kyojiro Assassin, Lancer.
Also tbh if they skip anyone, im betting they won’t include Caster + Kuzuki, neither Assassin, and although Cu Chulain is popular, im not sure if they’d make that many new characters/animations or not. If they do everyone then i’d really be impressed. Maybe Aglaea could become Caster + Saber from that bit when she took control of her, just so it’s less new characters. Something that really helps with understanding the "core" of variant characters is Raiden, I think. In Genshin, HSR, and HI3 (and of course, GGZ), Raidens are vastly different characters, but they are all built upon an obsession over something. For Mei, it's her obsession over Kiana, for Ei, it's an obsession over Eternity, and for Acheron, it's her obsession over reaching IX. Idk, just thought it was neat.

That plot point was already brought up again in part 1.5.
The thing Su ends up with is FAR above the Aeons (at least the ones we know) since it's unfathomably old going by the way it talks and seems to hold the answers to reality it's self rather than just some "concept" like "destroying things real well".
A good theory I've seen is that it was SUPPOSED to be MiHoYo seeding the Way for the GGZ style Outter God's ( who are an order above The Imaginary Tree, quite literally *above the universe* ) but they decided against it because that could get...fucky...

You are referring to bronie and the event you played is part of the "captainverse" chain of limited events
Captainverse is a name given by the fandom because the main character in those events is you the captain
i havent play hi3 and i only know the very basics of the lore, but im so much more excited for amphoreus now, like i was already really excited but i CANNOT WAIT
The variant system sounds like Homestuck's Ultimate Selves. That'sea bazillion timelines and doomed timelines and retcon timelines etc in the multiverse of Homestuck, but just about every character (or at least the player characters, though Dad is an interesting one as he's not a player but there's 2 exact versions of him) has some kind of Ultimate Self that determines the core principles of that timeline's version of themselves. Every Dave Strider or Vriska Serket or whatever will have certain physical and psychological characteristics that are unmistakenably theirs, though as you said different circumstances will lead to them making different choices - this is at the heart of Homestuck really especially the Epilogues.
There are a couple of characters that ascend to they Ultimate Self, but that usually involves the death of their Earth self and is implied to be not a great endeavor.

I haven't played Honkai Impact 3rd, but I was able to find that Ether energy is almost exactly the same as Honkai energy, as well as the Elysia expy being part of the first generation of void hunters.

There's so much potential for fun and great stuff, however there's also so much room for either disappointment or mess up.
There's a lot of things they need to make sure about, character consistency, if they're an expy to make sure the audience understands it, to make a story good from both fanbases, to avoid making the players from one base need to play the other game to understand concepts or important plot points AND not make it too slow for players that play both games.

That's actually the point of Penacony arc. To be fair, if you really played and understand HI3, you will notice that the story in Star Rail is going backwards.
Similar on that one aspect, but the actual purpose and end goal of them are entirely different plus Kevin also has a completely opposite viewpoint of Sunday's. The people who are dreaming in Project Stigma are considered necessary sacrifices given a peaceful dream, not people who are really meant to be saved.

Whether they think they suffer or they're having a good time or not is irrelevant; they were forced there and are being used. Not everyone was having a good dream even. We also saw people who just gave up on doing anything while surrounded by other negative people like them. They're just left there because the point is for them to remain ignorant of their situation and so they won't try or want to wake up.

Because Welt ends up in the Star Rail universe during a manga that takes place After a post honkai Oddyssey of which only two parts are out so far and part two of Honkai impact 3rd takes place BEFORE APHO so Sparkle and Sampo arrived in the Honkai Verse BEFORE Welt got to their universe.
I like the acorn analogy you have but there is more to it than that. Different character variants often have a change to the core which leads things taking different paths than they would have without it. Kiana and Kevin (as confirmed by Kevin's first introducion to the verse in GGZ), and Su and Vita are examples of this. They have swapped genders which led them to going down very different paths which still hold true to the core of the character. Different variants also get mixed together with parts of other characters, which leads to more changes. It's almost never a straight drop of a character core into a planet, there are usually always some variants in what makes that character on top of it.
Variants and everything that applies to it also applies to more than characters. It applies to locations, organisations, civilisations, catastrophes, and practically every other element that makes the world up. Firemoth being in Belobog. The very Honkai like catastrophe in Izumo. Many different elements make up the worlds, and many of them are meant to be recognisable in this different setting.

The honkaiverse take places in the Imaginary tree and each Honkai story exist in a different "leaf" saparately.
Question,
1. Does each story belong to only one leaf or a certain story is hosted on multiple leaf?
2. If yes or not, does that affect the individual story lore to each other? (Its power, narrative, or Influence)
What I meam is, if Honkai story take only in one leaf and that fact effect on the lore then Honkai Impact 3rd is more Concentrated because in one leaf only featured its solar system meanwhile Honkai Star Rail will be more Scattered.

HSR story = Everything that happened in Imaginary Tree (universe events)
HI3 story = only earth solar system and SoQ + character development (one leaf)
So if universal scale disaster happens in HSR in the future, it's could also affect HI3 if the devs decided to included this events in the HI3 storyline

So far, the story of Amphoreus seems to closely mirrors Teyvat's early history :
_ Teyvat is also an isolated world.
_ we know its first human civilisation was Greek themed (if Enkonomiya is anything to go by).
_ that Unified Civilization also fell appart because of a "Heretical Black Tide From Beyond the Sky" (Forbidden Knowledge, brought by the Second Who Came).
_ the "creator" Titans are divided into four groups, and each group seems to have a power associated with 1 of the 4 Shades (SPACE, TIME, LIFE, DEATH)
_ character design is reminiscent of Genshin : most notably for ANAXA, who couldn't be more KHAENRI'AHN coded.

Honestly am so far satisfied with their worldbuilding right now. I've loved HSR so far but I've tried HI3 many times and have come to loath it due to it never hooking me. I did the recent collaboration event and actually didn't mind it too much and was satisfied with how they approached it. However, I am a little worried just how much is the next world going to be more honkai as opposed to mythology.

Have you considered doing a flame chasers primer video for the HSR onlies? I've seen a lot of streamers asking their chat for one, but I don't think a plot summary is quite what they need, for starters ER/EE is just too dense of a plot to succinctly summarise without leaving gaps or being hard to follow.
More importantly I think a lot of existing summaries focus too much on plot (which honestly I don't think HSR will retread very closely) and not enough on the characters, their personalities or arcs, which is where their variants (or isotopes as the devs say) are going to most strongly relate to or parallel them.

this is probably a weird thing to speculate but I'm wondering if any of this has a tie in with genshin given there are clearly expys from honkai there also. as in... im curious if theres gonna end up being some sort of deep lore link. possibly something to do with the fact that teyvat is a literal ark, that which we have no idea the purpose of. im predicting we will eventually have something like this in genshin but its not gonna be even remotely close to as obvious as welt being the literal welt from honkai.

Ok, so I have some questions and thoughts I need answered, so anyone who knows feel free to chime in. I thought HSR was in a different universe from HI3rd. I am still playing through HI3rd (at a very slow pace) but I heard people say this the HSR universe is a different universe along the imaginary tree. Is this thought wrong, or rather, does the cross over between games prove that both Honkai games exist in the same universe? If not, how did our favorite fools travel to the HI3rd universe?

It all makes less sense to me if they are in the same universe, and I haven't read/played all the bits that might explain it (though I also don't know if it ultimately matters one way or the other).
They are not in the same universe. AT the End of Alien Space manga Welt and Void Archives end up thrown into Star Rail Universe.

By Honkai's own cosmology they are the same universe. It's just a confusion happens a lot with terms and the translations used. When we normally think of parallel timelines and alternate realities, we assume that they're entirely different universes in a 'multiverse', but for Honkai all these parallel/alternate realities we see are considered 'worlds' within one 'universe' because the universe in question here is one Imaginary Tree. Since there might still be other universes outside of this Imaginary Tree, then you can't call it a 'multiverse' when we haven't seen outside of this one 'universe'(the Imaginary Tree).
All these responses just sounds like an overly verbose way of saying it's a multiverse, just not how you'd normally conceive of it (the DC or Marvel Multiverses as simple but still sometimes confusing examples), with HSR in one universe and HI3 in separate one, or not, no one agrees. LOL
