yes, there will be way more videos now, since I think I implemented 99% of things I wanted in HTool (only corss profiles support + fix hair sim is left)
Thank you for this tutorial, do you have for Brows? I guess it will be done with "Add hair system" on a previously made plane to act as eyebrow grow surface? But i will be glad if u make one tutorial for eyebrows.
@@bartoszstyperek6306 i figured it out, for some reason, the shadows and transparencies were disabled on the object settings. I do have a followup question though, how do i attach the hairs, eyebrows, eyelashes, and mustaches to a face mesh that will be rigged and animated, so that the hairs move along with the face?
have you solved this issue? I have the same one, and it seems like the eyelash plane gets corrupted as soon as you set the hair profile. Once that’s done, it can’t be displayed anymore in viewport shader or render preview, not even a flat material works. This should be a problem/bug caused by the addon, as I have never experienced this before. (I used blender 4.2 & hair tool 3.6.9)
I bought your addon a while ago and I guess I may have jumped the gun a bit because it was so cool I don't know anything about hair or making it look good or UVs 😅 any idea where I can find good information about making hair cards and a better workflow to start from?
HI - yes I compiled the essentials in this list - joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/#quick-start . About uvs docs - defining them - joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/uv_material/#defining-hair-uvs , and then assigning them to hair : joseconseco.github.io/HairTool_3_Documentation/uv_material/#set-uv-region
I followed the eyebrow tutorial first and was successful, I'm wondering if the two hair systems are somehow clashing disabling my ability to bake the lashes??
when you go into rendered view - and enable opacity pass, can you see the eyelashes for baking? Also in latest HTool 4.1 - you have to have your baked object in HTOol bake collection. see > th-cam.com/video/3ATRZ-ox5s8/w-d-xo.html
@@bartoszstyperek6306 yes the eyelashes were visible in the rendered viewport. I remade my project with only eyelashes in the project and the baking worked better, that is I am picking up data. However now I can't get my opacity mask as crisp as yours mine comes out grey and thus halfway transparent as an alpha, I have to take the file into Photoshop, unpack the channels and increase the contrast to get actual white to work as the opacity mask. Any idea what has changed in Blender 4.3 that might cause this discrepancy?
@@bartoszstyperek6306 Oh, thank you for your reply! I have the Hair tool and Garment tool, and it's fun and allows me to create characters very quickly. Thank you for making something good✨
@@nao7722 Thanks for support. You can hit me on HTool discord- and I can give you free copy of bartoszstyperek.gumroad.com/l/blob_fusion . If you want create characters quickly then it will help.
@@bartoszstyperek6306Does that mean they'll give you Blob Fusion for free? (I'm not good at English, so please forgive me if I'm wrong.) Thank you. But I feel sorry for the people who paid. Don't worry, it was resolved really quickly☺
Thank you so much Bartosz
can you do a similair vid on baking a buzz cut to a scalp?

@@bartoszstyperek6306 oh great! So is the tool complete now? Is it just maintenance now?
do you have any tutorials on how you do your eyebrows?

Hello, for some reason, the baked eyelashes i made does not show when in cycles mode. What do i need to do?
maybe object is disabled for rendering in outlinder? Or in object render settings?
@@bartoszstyperek6306 it’s enabled in render settings, but I will check the object settings.
This is in viewport, not in the actual render itself.

What could be the cause if I cannot press the "Flatten to UV Shape key"?
using 3.6.0 version.(3.6.1 not found🥺)
I was able to change to 3.6.2 from the preferences! solved🥰
I'm glad u solved it. Sorry for no earlier reply. Somehow YT stopped sending me email notifications when someone comments below video...
