OMG your positive attitude and desire deserves much praise. You can clearly see you are pulling out all the stops to get some images for your group and thats very honourable. Great vlog and a great guy.
These islands are amazing! The weather reminds me of where I live in the NW US. Keep up the good work and the positive outlook. Your enthusiasm and upbeat attitude always brighten my day.
After all of these days and videos, I finally looked on a map to find the Faroe Islands. Seems to fit the over-worked expression, "The Middle of Nowhere" could be used here. Thanks, Brendan, for taking us along.
you taking the weather/light short comings way better then I would. Esp. considering it isnt a cheap place to travel to. And from my sofa its certainly interesting/fun to watch ;)
A while back you said that you felt that you weren't making enough progress with your photography. I can assure you that you've gotten a lot better lately. The Faroe pictures are great. By far the best I've seen you make. And I've seen a lot of your vlogs. PS. I loved the t-shirt and gloves combo. :-)
Yes, since Patagonia I feel like I've hit a good stride. As I said in Patagonia, I was excited because I felt like I was starting to see compositions better, and I think that's been true
How do you deal with mutiny? I'm sure everyone has an idea. If you don't walk up to the edge of the cliff you can't possible fall off. Without carrying five pds of lead, how do you steady the camera?
Brendon - just a thought - have you ever thought about including more people photography in your travels?? You could really kill it man because you have so many opportunities - like now in the Faroe Islands. All of your photos seem to be always time lapse sceneries - that's cool, but some of us love street/environmental portraits!! Why don't you shoot the local farmers rounding up sheep, local guys down at the ship wharf, shop keepers plying their trade, people working at their jobs! I know it is more difficult to do but I think it would give you so much more depth to what you are now doing. There are thousands of pretty landscapes photos everywhere, but not everybody can do street/people/environmental portraits well! Check out what I do - it's what I have in mind for you. philipsuttonphotography.com

Thanks for this BvS. You work very hard! Love the experience.
Glad you liked it Ian!
Some of my favorite photos wouldn't have happened if we hadn't made a wrong turn. Gotta love it.
There's no such thing as a bad turn, just an unplanned opportunity
Some great shots though...thanks for the ride along
It's always a great feeling when you're dissappointed with the weather or location, but still magage to take a great picture.
Boy what an adventure. What a beautiful classroom, windy though.

Love your videos
Thank you!!
awesome,learnt a lot !!!!
Looks like a place where drone shots or videos would be good.
Another fine video. With wondering how to make the photo as good as what you see at the top, would a fisheye lens not help or maybe a 360 pano?

Brilliant.
Congratulations on not giving up Brendan, you were well tested...
Ok, for that being a skunky photo session that was a pretty nice image.
live webcams may help give an indication of what the weather may be like in different areas.
I remember this t-shirt from the episode you dropped ua Nd filter😂 CAT SHIRT FROM JAPAN😂
The Faroe Islands are one of my dream locations! will you be hosting a tour here Brendan?
Potentially. This trip was sort of a trial run.

I notice you're using f16 a lot. Any worries with loss of sharpness at such a small aperture?
On that lens, no. It's just as sharp. Sharpness tends to done after f16.
First perso to comment pls heart this bigfan of you
