That's so sweet! My mom was the one who first taught me actually because she played as a child. She never continued though so now I'm the only one who plays piano on both sides of the family.
There are bigtablets ..might look into it. Also check put the midi app called Midi Sheet Music. It will play any midi piano file ( as far as I know), and even has the option to put notes in subscript. Even small tablets would be ok for working on hard parts. I have Android but I am thinking of going to iPad. .
Any other piano players have this problem, I cannot focus on one piece, Everytime I start one, I begin with the next and never finish the first one, therefore I cannot play a whole piece, just parts of one😂😐 How do I fix?

Not only did I mess up in a few places playing classical guitar at a recital, my whole body was shaking with my leg resting on a footstool shaking the most. This was one of the most embarrassing and scary experiences of my life 😊😢
Extremely relatable ,the only annoying thing I found on this video ,was the half a second time frame to read the caption after every number ,after number 5 I gave up and guessed what you were doing .
pato barajas Ok so I'm a violinist and a lefty and my brother plays the piano, but for some reason my left hand is always really weak on the piano and my wrist keeps collapsing it annoys me so much I can't even
I'm left handed, so I have trouble with my right hand. My right either moves awkwardly or doesn't put the amount of pressure on the keys as the sound demanded. Very frustrating, indeed.

Here's a problem I ran into recently: I learned to tell the difference between major and minor chords and I was good. The week after I was getting half of them wrong.
pianoTV This morning I struggled again (had to listen to the chords more than once) and yet I got all of them correct. I think getting them all right is a fluke :-)
just memorize the piece, it's not that hard. when you're playing the piece for the first time, youre not gonna have trouble flipping the pages. as youre learning, you gradually memorize it, so that when you can play it better, you dont even need the book/sheet. at least that's my case
Devan Janaka, I'm practically unable to learn a whole piece by heart. I know it more or less, but I need to follow a bit with the paper. My learnt by heart record ever was two pages.
Devan Janaka It definitely would help to memorize, but it takes me a while to learn the song first, and then when I practice it I use the sheet music so I don't leave out any important dynamics, etc. For me memorization is always the last step in perfecting a piece, so it usually doesn't help the page turning issue much for me.

Lauren Daddi you can try to do all the dynamics by listening to the piece with the book/sheet in front of you. you can do the whole thing at once, or you can do it per page or something. and with things like the accents and staccato and all that little details, you can probably do that when you first learn the piece. again, if you still find some issues, get a page turner (your mum could do it for you), or tape all the pages side to side so you dont have to flip the pages.
The last is so true. I was hired to take photos of a house since they were selling it. And the family was very musical and they had a very nice grand piano.

These are all so true! I love it! 🤣 I can watch this on an endless loop. My only suggestion is to keep the black screen with the description on for more than a fraction of a second. I'm a fast reader but not that fast.
16. Breaking your fingers from glissandos. Also that sounded like Rhapsody in blue. One kid in my Oakland piano camp had 2 years of piano and literally was able to play it and it sounds easy but it really isn't.
I've been playing the piano for 9 years now...and I really do not consider myself to be a good player....but by relating to every single thing in this video....haha it kinda gave me a boost in confidence...I might not be such a shitty player when someone who is amazing at playing has the same problems!!😍
No.7 is so true. Just yesterday i felt like i lost the ability to read sheet music and when i decided to try again this morning.....lo and behold, it actually sounds good
There are two overnight phenomena: 1. Plays poorly today. Sleeps. Plays same thing perfectly tomorrow. 2. Plays perfectly today. Sleeps. Plays same thing poorly tomorrow.
I've had all those experiences. I smile watching this. I was leaning some something classical about 30 years ago and literally was playing them mentally with the piano. I also was in a practice room. Somebody knocked on the door..I couldn't get the part went to the door ..patiently solved this major problem.. Came back to the piano ..played the part easily. Another time , I was working for like whole day on a Brent Mason solo.. if my life depended on it, couldn't do it. The next morning .played it perfectly Our brain actually works out problems. This has happened with Cripple Creek on 5 string banjo. I have moved into a house that has practice area, so I have to use my Casio keyboard. Great. but not 88 keys.
You are a GENIUS omggg! I play piano 6 years old and i hate those problems. Its summer vacation so i didnt play piano for 2 months, i cant wait to play again, OMG
#7 cannot be more relatable, the longer I practice, the worse I play...the next morning I am suddenly Beethoven...
Nick Szeto why this happen?
Nick Szeto if you play long, the concentration will drop.

ChaosRayZero it means that you dream of playing a song but you can't play it
“You had one job” “Keyboard” hahahahahhaha this is so true myghed
These are all so true! I love it! 🤣 I can watch this on an endless loop. My only suggestion is to keep the black screen with the description on for more than a fraction of a second. I'm a fast reader but not that fast.
This is one of your best videos - we've all been there!!
Ooo.. Whats the piece at 0:01 too?
Kimmeh was wondering too...anybody knows ?
theror Yeah! It's Franz Liszt-Liebestraum No.3
Thank you
Irene Irene 2:21 is simply sad violin
Irene Irene and 2:30 is dun autre ete or something
16. Breaking your fingers from glissandos.
Also that sounded like Rhapsody in blue. One kid in my Oakland piano camp had 2 years of piano and literally was able to play it and it sounds easy but it really isn't.
Ye Rim Won Lol you need to listen only to the first minute and a half to realize it's not easy at all
I've been playing the piano for 9 years now...and I really do not consider myself to be a good player....but by relating to every single thing in this video....haha it kinda gave me a boost in confidence...I might not be such a shitty player when someone who is amazing at playing has the same problems!!😍
Too funny!!! So good to feel part of a piano-playing community, all struggling to produce beauty!
Woah, this is sooo relatable!!! I'm blown away! On most of the things i thought it was just me, but, wow!
omg I relate to this soo much 😂😂😂
So...fucking....... ACURATE!!!!
#relatable
Please comment down the songs she has played in this video... Really want to learn them..🙏
No.7 is so true. Just yesterday i felt like i lost the ability to read sheet music and when i decided to try again this morning.....lo and behold, it actually sounds good
NUMBER 5!!! omg yes.

That's impossible
most of tho's are me! lol
I really enjoyed this video! Subscribed.
There are two overnight phenomena:
1. Plays poorly today. Sleeps. Plays same thing perfectly tomorrow.
2. Plays perfectly today. Sleeps. Plays same thing poorly tomorrow.
The first problem is real hell)) Are there any videoswith solutions to it)?
The titles are to short
Pause them!!!
I couldn't control my laughter!! You are so clever.
I can relate to this so much. whenever I see a piano anywhere, i automatically wanna play it lol
This is the most relatable video I've ever watched!
I've had all those experiences. I smile watching this. I was leaning some something classical about 30 years ago and literally was playing them mentally with the piano. I also was in a practice room. Somebody knocked on the door..I couldn't get the part went to
the door ..patiently solved this major problem.. Came back to the piano ..played the part easily. Another time , I was working for like whole day on a Brent Mason solo.. if my life depended on it, couldn't do it. The next morning .played it perfectly Our brain actually works out problems.
This has happened with Cripple Creek on 5 string banjo. I have
moved into a house that has practice area, so I have to use my Casio keyboard. Great. but not 88 keys.
2:30 OMG I LEARNED HOW TO PLAY THIS SONG LAST YEAR AND I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Just came across this Allysia. Tooooo funny and tooooo true!! 😂
