    I am going ro spain on an official trip for 10 days. If I do not use any IR pack on my Airtel number, but just activate International roaming:
    1. Will i continue recieving OTPs & SMSs.
    2. If yes, will I be charged for receiving these messages.
    Thanks

    Currently visiting Boston. I activated IR services and added some money via top-up. I can call / sms a contact in India using google contacts. I can't do the same for a contact local to USA. I can call / text to a USA contact if I dial their number manually with a +1 prefix. Can't explain why this is. Any ideas

      It will be good idea to port one of the sim cards into Jio. It is not compulsory though. As mentioned in the video, Jio is generally cheaper and better than others.
      Note: Jio doesn’t offer in flight services with all the carriers. Also some flight carriers provide in flight wifi regardless of your operator. So check these things before.

    • @TheLogicalBaat

      My experience with Jio is really good. If you want to use mobile data in Dubai, do IR activation and recharge in India. When you land in Dubai IR pack will be activated automatically.

    I am a VI postpaid user, what should i do? Activate international roaming service and no international roaming pack and dont turn on data roaming? There are VI postpaid plans which are INR 5999 FOR 30 DAYS! any advice is most appreciated!

    • @TheLogicalBaat
      @TheLogicalBaat  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yup. 5999/30 days is very costly I think so if you do what you said, you will be able to get sms/otp for free once you latch to the network in destination county.
      Note, standard rates for calls are very high with VI so use carefully.
