I am going ro spain on an official trip for 10 days. If I do not use any IR pack on my Airtel number, but just activate International roaming:
    1. Will i continue recieving OTPs & SMSs.
    2. If yes, will I be charged for receiving these messages.
    Thanks

I currently use a jio sim and We are traveling to the US for a month and need to continue receiving our otps for bank and adhaar etc.

Should I be able to use data/calls from my Jio IR activated Service as per Std pay as you go rates with top-up balance without IR plan? Or to use Data and calls I need to have IR Plan activated?

Sir I am going to Germany in November for my studies and will be there for 2 years. I watched your full video but still asking, sorry in advance for that. So I have Airtel SIM Card, as you said I will turn on International Roaming and recharge with basic plan every month to keep my SIM active. My query is, should I buy a SIM Card from Germany itself once I go there? Because other than places which have free wifi, if incase I need to call my family in India or any emergency so for that I would need a SIM card right? So is it better to buy a NEW SIM CARD from GERMANY or should I recharge the International plan of Airtel? Which one is more efficient? Sorry for such a long question. Hoping for an early response :)

Hi there , I have an Airtel prepaid sim and I'm travelling to Malaysia for 7 days so as per the Airtel's website "Prepaid customers need to maintain sufficient balance along with activating IR service to use International Roaming while abroad. The balance can be maintained either by buying a separate IR pack or a talk time recharge to keep their prepaid sim active abroad." , so according to this i need to maintain balance (i think it would be top up balace?) and also have an ir pack to receive calls sms , so now I'm concerned should i recharge my number with ir pack ( i only need to receive otps for debit nd credit cards) can you please answer this

Currently visiting Boston. I activated IR services and added some money via top-up. I can call / sms a contact in India using google contacts. I can't do the same for a contact local to USA. I can call / text to a USA contact if I dial their number manually with a +1 prefix. Can't explain why this is. Any ideas

Generally it is a good idea to add a country code before calling any phone number.

@@TheLogicalBaat If this is so, what is the point of having phone contacts.

This video is based on my own experience of using IR in Japan. Thailand ke local rates ke saath compare karo IR ke rates ko.
Btw Jio is the best and cheapest so go with it if you want to.
