The opening of a food bank by the King is not a cause for celebration. It's an indication of the dire straits of the UK economy. One can now call the food bank The Royal Food Bank appointed by His Majesty the King of England.

This comment reminds me of the BBC/ITV interviewing a man during the 2019 election in the North east saying he was voting Conservative because they had opened a lot more food banks than Labour, it was on YT showing how dangerous it is to give everyone the vote😮

LOL. So funny. In this time of year in BJ, you just need to point your camera anywhere in any direction and you can have beautiful footage to show your audience or just voice over. Wish I'm here in China too. Can't wait to go back.

Charles takes money from the people then he pretends he cares about them by giving back a little bit to them. How "generous". 😂

Life is complex and China like any country in this earth is not 100% perfect but in my experience it is a lot better than most! You have to be rational weighing the pros and cons in finding the balance. About clearing up the mess after dining in places like Macdonald or public foodhall. Perhaps China should follow Singapore when anyone fails to clear up would be fined! That would educate people to adhere to the rule for public good! Thanks for your honest thought about living in China.

Having lived in Australia and New Zealand, it is very common in the fast-food restaurants for people not to put their finished meals in the provided bins. Feeling sorry for the underpaid staff in these restaurants and malls, I will usually pick their waste up and put it in the bins provided. What stuns me online is the anger and vitriol coming out from people in the UK towards immigrants in general. It is being stirred up by right-wing news stations and independent right-wing bloggers on TH-cam. It doesn't seem to be as bad in Scotland, but in England, it is horrifying. As a keen student of history, I fear the worst.

Hi Iain, do you have any idea why do people in China like taking photos with red painted wall everytime they meet one?

Let's be honest here: TH-cam and Google ban irritates me most about China. (And no, VPN is not the answer. 😂)
