The Superbird and Daytona were flops when released, many dealers were removing the spoilers and nose cones to sell them but if you can come across a numbers matching Superbird or Daytona now, they're rare, sought after and worth a lot of money. They are two vehicles that no matter how much rust, you want to put in the time to restore it/them.
I'm 72 & I never heard anyone say the EL DORADO was a STUPID CAR & no person was concerned about it's gas consumption. Actually who made this video is extremely confused
yes , agreed , maybe there are few cars would not have been mention , thats always the case when someone brings a only bad claiming video , for sure , i have only a meaning of the Chevrolet Monza , and glad i did not buy it ;-) but fully agreed guy's , it is so clear this video would not resave lot's of likes and may be vues but , in fact , peoples have to vue it before they know it is bad video commenter , we are all agreed this kind have to be erased from YT as misleading or fake or disinformation
The Superbird was illegal in Maryland. It didn't have a front bumper and no place to put front license plate. The first ones that hit the dealer lot were staked out by a state trooper. As soon as someone took delivery of one and pulled off the lot the trooper pulled them over gave them an inspection ticket. The customer had to return the car for a replacement Roadrunner. Chrysler had to pull the car's from the Maryland market.
Shows how disgusting the "Free State" is not really free but stuck thinking their opinions were (and are) the only ones allowed. That makes you communists.
I just can't even finish watching. My guess is this video could be cut from an hour plus long to about 15 minutes. "Facts" are stated 4 or 5 times on each point. I heard the phrase "missed it's mark" used on the super bird. I believe the video missed it mark on a lot of things by not understanding the times these vehicles were introduced or who was buying them. To state that a car from the mid 70's didn't have the same performance as it 60's ancestors is just ridiculous. I'm really seeing far to many videos about yesteryear subjects that seem to be filled with misunderstandings. And flat out confused BS.
Just before my ex-father-in-law died he wanted to give me his garaged Plymouth Volare' in great condition. Knowing how she felt about dear ole dad followed by how she asked me not to accept it. I understood how my saying yes would affect her in a negative way. Later I would discover she may have married me just to piss him off. And now believe something uncomfortable may have happened in her Dad's Plymouth Volare' ✌️🇺🇲
1:03 ish. Say 70's car and you will get weak very restricted, airflow engines and low compression. Horsepower. Not sure where you can single out any engine from the 70's that made 1 hp per cubic inch of engine. Example: was there any chevy 305 that made 305 HP? late 80's Firebirds and Camaros had 305s, So forget anything in the 70's having any Horsepower. So All Cars from the 70's were weaker then the 60's version in the U.S. Do you know why Mr. content creator?
so true , i am from Belgium and once had the love for american cars , but the car i wanted to buy Killed all my passion for american car for ever , when i tok the car for a test ride , i did not buy it , it was a Chevrolet Monza , real shit car , so so , i stay buying German and swedish cars , i end up to only want Swedish qualities , and have done well not to buy it as it looks sportive and beautiful
Funny how the Plumouth Superbird was banned from NASCAR for being too unfairly fast. You people need to learn more about your cars. Technology has ruined your intelligence.
