I ALSO owned a 1974 Vega. But mine was a wagon. Burned oil as fast as fuel. Hadda check the b4 every trip. I let my sister use it once for baseball practice. I reminded her to ''CHECK...THE...OIL''. She burned the engine tight.😡
the Ford Edsel was introduced Sept 4th 1957 as we all know(except for whoever is responsible for this video) all cars for the new model year were always introduced in September so the Edsel is a 1958 model
The slant 6 engine was one durable tuff engine. I had mine for 12 years in a 6k heavy Dodge van, also pulling a two ton trailer once in While and while it lacked power, it worked hard most days with no break downs or engine repair. To me, one of the best engines ever built, just don't be in a hurry going somewhere, lol. ///// Fords comet and falcon inline 6 was a durable engine, but simply to get from point A to point B, it .powered the car just fine during normal driving and didn't drain your wallet for fuel. This 6 cylinder required almost no maintenance similar to the slant 6. Keeping the oil changed and these engines were reliable.
The round gauge panel opposite the speedometer is same design as a 1960 RR Silver Cloud 2 Bentley Conversion. Thats the only Rolls i remember my dad keeping when i was very very youg he bough several shipped them over from England when he was over there. 1 of my brothers bought the 60 Rolls off my dad about 10yrs ago and still has it. So idk if Crosley was associated witg Rolls or what...
@ 10:25 The premise of this vid is off. “The Deluxe?” This is a Chevy. All Chevys used this body style. “Outdated?” This was the classic style of most cars before 1955.
my parents had 2 crosleys, a '48 sedan and a '51 station wagon, I don't. remember much aboutt the wagon, as II was born in April of '51 and I was not born when they had the sedan. They had mechanical brakes with cabble activation. The cables stretched, so brakes had to be adjusted almost daily. The high light of my passenger experience waas when my parents were rear-ended and my mother lost her grip on me andd I went flying out the window into a pile of freshly ddug dirt. I don't remember it really, but my mom and dad regaled me. with the story for the first decade and a half.
Willys peak of design was the jeep a general purpose four passenger car. that cod be stacked three high in a cargo hold to ship anywhere on earth to fight the enemies of democracy. Willys and Ford manufactured the war years models. But after the war Willys came out with the Jeepester and the Wagoneer. The main tthing about the Willys corporation was. thhey developed a reliable four wheel drive and holds the patent for it. This lead to American Motors acquiring the Jeep marquee. Chrysler eat up America Motors in order to profit from lucrative government contra ts, Mercedes and ultimately Fiat acquired Chrysler Corp.
I had a 78’ Gremlin X and NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT, NEVER, even after putting over 192k miles on it!!
Owned a 1974 Vega. Only thing that didn't rust was the exhaust system because of all the oil burn off.😂

The first version of the Crosley CC remind me of the stick figure version of a car ⁉️
That's what I thought the '60 Rambler Rebel looked like.
The videos I've seen so far have such boring and repetitive narration and narrator.🙄❗️
