I actually really like how they did the Dalek Emperor here. His design is quite inventive and I love the ominous machinery sound heard when he opens and closes that shield! And while his voice is slow at times, I think it succeeds in making him sound very ancient :)
When you're smarter than everyone else in your race and have a brain the size of a small care I'd expect his speech to be somewhat slow since he's probably thinking of a billion different things...

Such an underrated Emperor Dalek Design imo I love how abstract it is from the previous 2 emperor designs, it has built in battle armour and weapons to defend itself, that is fantastic! I also love the fact it has a purple and gun metal silver colour scheme to further destinct itself from its underlings. It’s also cool to see another actor doing the voice for the Daleks in this game, for the most part I think they do a good job 👏🏻, nice to have a bit of variety from Nick briggs occasionally. Xx

It would have made more sense for them to be purple, wouldn't it? I absolutely love this version of the Emperor. And the new paradigm. If they hadn't been so tall they would've been perfect
I agree and it's also a lot better since the Steam patch. I think they had a trilogy planned but this one underperformed in sales so we'll have to wait and see if they follow through with them. Shame they cancelled the adventure games though :(
Watched my kids finish the game. Just needed he guide for a few parts where they got stuck. Probably why it got so low reviews as was frustrating for some testers but the game was good. Reminded me of tha game on the commodore 64 with the guy who said stay awhile, stay forever..

Tony Davis It took me ages to do it as well, there is something special you need to do and I cant remember. Try looking for tips and hints around the game just incase?

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't know that I have been denied a basic human right as to hold an opinion(!) Playing this game to completion was a chore for me, due to the repetitive gameplay, bad graphics and ignorance of the show's canon. You can tell when a Doctor Who game is bad when the Sonic Screwdriver works on wood.

I'm afraid so, The Gunpowder plot was supposed to be the start of series 2 but they cancelled them to concentrate on the games they could charge for.

I'm confused, all the voices of the "Bad Guys" are completely wrong, the cyberman sounded stupid instead of robotic, the daleks sounded constipated.
