So far the pairings we got I absolutely love. Shovel Knight and Cuphead play off each other very well with how different they are and then Madeline and The Knight are such an adorable duo that, unlike SK and Cup, actually seem quite similar.

Ok ok there’s clearly something to be said. The red knife is used by Frisk, Chara doesn’t actually take control of Frisk in the game. But fan animation’s usually depict it that way for whatever reason but Chara is dead and Frisk is alive and is the player. It’s as simple as that

So right now that would mean Sans is somewhere in space sleeping. and Frisk is trying to find classic and finish the genocide route so they can finally reach Level 20 right now in Episode 1

Either they were taken before they got to the judgement hall or properly died set number of times against sans before being teleported
