I think it's really cool how in the final act for All Stars, Mario uses the vocals from all the other Marios. Really goes to show how this really is his world.
Probably because it really does feel final in the fight against Ultra M. At least during Demise against MX she was able to reconstitute her body since MX didn't take her soul [as a demon, rather inportant] while Ultra went the extra step. It probably also feels different because BF also died in the finale, so both are gone for good.

At the start BF is worried about GF when they they get sucked into the TV, and though a couple of the songs, specifically Paranoia, it says the BF lost GF and was searching for her. GF is also missing through some of the songs and then she reappears at some other song. This mod was really just stringing together a story of GF's execution. BF was never really supposed to die but because he broke the deal with Ultra, he was destined to die.
Fun Fact: since Mario clarified that bf is in his world, that means if he died three times he would lose. GF has the same thing. BF died against dictator, and he killed himself before singing against beta luigi. Meaning he died twice. Mario came in for the final kill and confirmed it. And gf died against mx, and Mr V. And yet again, Mario claims the final kill on GF. That's kind of the reason why GF was a possessed puppet in the third act. (Edit) 30 likes? Oh boy! And sorry if I am kind of incorrect.

The ending truly makes sense in so many ways, BF (and GF ig) payed the price of breaking a powerful demons deal and so now they’re in pain and suffering for it, I really do like how they made a bad ending for them and just showing it doesn’t need a good ending for it to be good and make sense (also credit art is not canon) Also I blame BF, who tf puts a Bloody Old NES Game Card into their System and think “ya it’s still okay to play” even the Yellow Mungus Mail Man knew it was a terrible package (you seem him sweat when giving it to BF and GF as the door gets slammed on him) W Mod worth the 2 year wait
Well doesn’t it make sense that every mod had its own story compared into it? Like Sonic.EXE faced them. Hypno faced them And now Mario.EXE and his goons are back for a rematch. It’s literally found in the story. I feel like it’s just compared with every EXE mod that existed.
Moral of this story: don't grab s**t that looked... demonic or whatever. Also, Don't deal with the Devil. .... or any being that legit looks like once you start, there's no looking or going back.

Its funny how the ending was ALL bfs fault. He chose to run after the SECOND song in their deal. Had he not, there was a chance mario would be honest with his word.
I actually think that the ending is daddy dearests fault. Just think about it for a second. He was the one who sealed Mario away. If he didn’t, none of this would’ve ever happened. The sad part is all this dude Mario ever wanted was contact with the outside world and daddy dearest basically gave and took that away from him. Then when he got it again with bf and gf he killed the only two who brought him joy which explains the credits. It’s how everything Mario wanted things to go. He killed them and instantly regretted it and he states it in the credits song “a mad world without you” where he asks himself “is this what I really wanted?” And he laments over how he’s stuck in his lonely world again. As for bf breaking the deal I think that Mario was gonna kill him anyways because he says “your fates were set in motion the moment you laid eyes on the cartridge.” It’s only after he achieves his goal where he realizes what he’s done. He mightve died to exe Mario, but he definitely won the war. Exes entire goal was to make boyfriend struggle, to feel helpless and plea for his life. And when he realized bf wouldn’t budge he decided to kill him, not out of a desire, but frustration that bf didn’t give up even when faced with impossible odds. Which is IMO why his death is silent with no evil laughs or dramatic cutscenes, just death.
The thing is, if bf hadnt jumped off the platform into the warp star at the end of starman slaighter, he and gf would've not only survived, but would've been put back into the rewl world perfectly fine. He broke the deal and payed the consequences.
Imma say that this may be the best mod ever made for fnf, every song is good, all the songs have amazing sprite work and events, the cutscenes are amazing, everything is so good, definitely a 11/10 mod going up with ourple guy.
I don't know if someone clarified to you already, but Unbeatable is based on a old uncanny commercial advertisement, the level stayed true to how the characters looked in said advertisement

Yooooo Part 2. Hellish Heights ia probably my favorite world in Mario's Madness. Lots of cool mechanics (mainly with messing up everyone's PCs (love seeing their reactions including yours lol). Powerdown is probably my favorite song from the world too. Loved how they included the False Mario section. Also something I learned is that in Overdue during the last section the hallway) is that one of Too Late.EXE's poses (specifically his Down Pose) literally him holding up an L above his head. Overall, the end to the mod is peak. The build up is absolutely crazy. All Stars is basically a better Triple Trouble, and seeing BF die (for a second time and GF for a fourth) is insane. The ending to this mod with the Credits music literally made me tear up, and no mod has done that. I renember hearing that the devs (mainly Sandi) saying that the ending is suppose to be like Super Mario Bros. 3 where it is a stage play and BF and GF never truely died (which examples M calling this all a game [even if that is more like something Mario would say] and the props image in the Credits). Honestly, I don't know how to feel about that, as to me, it kind of destroys the impact that it all had. However, Marco deconfirmed it by saying it's up to interpretation. Oh and then there is Unbeatable. Honestly when I first saw the song name, I thought it would be Pico fighting against puppeted BF & GF. However I was pretty surprised to see the the old "You Can Not Beat Us" commerical along with 10 minutes. (Also 8owser16 reaction to seeing Bowser was hilarious). The song is essentially an absolute endurace test and I strangely love songs like that. I feel like anyone could tell by reading this long essay of a comment, that I really like this mod. It was nice to 8owser16 play through this. Loved watching the stream and now both parts.
The mod was good, but messed up in a couple of places. Placing joke songs as the first songs in the story mode, Unbeatable as the secret song, and the ending. It's still a good mod and worth a play. But that stuff will forever be a stain on it.
I rarely comment on these type of FNF mod showcase videos but HOLY SMOKES THIS IS PEAK! Probably the best and fun looking FNF mod since Impostor v4! Definitely worth the 2 year long wait. As someone who never played FNF or any of the mods, I might give this a whirl! Props to everyone who worked on the mod!

That was orignally said by Sandi, and Marco said that the ending was up to interpretation (according to the FNF Wiki). Honestly, I don't know how to feel about the idea of it being like SMB3, as to me, it kind of destroys the impact that the ending had. Personally I like to think that they are gone forever, puppeted by M, Pico is on the run, and one day... will be caught and join them. No one had won. Everyone had lost. No more fun or games, just suffering from both sides. I know it sounds dark, but it feels right. (Also The Credits Theme were amazing literally teared up while listening)

Truly a amazing mod this is. The music..amazing, the time and effort to this mod is just incredible. Props to every single person taht worked on this mod. Also if you look at the credits you can see that if you interpret it.. that this was all a performance.. a stage for us to see. Since one of them has Girlfriend looking at a prop of herself being killed by MX there. So whether we lost to evil Mario there or it was all a stage performance it's up to you. To anyone really.

No, the only one that was suppost to die was gf, cause of an deal, but bf kept staying in the way, protecting her, and ruining ultra m's plan, which led to the deal being broken, which is also the reason he not only kills gf, he also kills bf.

Ngl, that kinda ruins the story for me. Idk why, tho, maybe because it feels like the "was a dream" scenario. The only thing I can remember doing that well was Futurama, with the bee and honey episode.

One detail I find pretty interesting is how M seems to have removed Unbeatable from the overworld until he already killed you. Many of my friends thought it was Golden Land taking over, but if that’s the case then why not have Golden Land take over the same space Unbeatable is on and not the one above it? M likely thought BF couldn’t win against Mr SYS and his crew and wanted to be the one to kill BF, so removed them from contention (since everyone in the overworld is subject to M’s abilities) until he gets the kill in All Stars
@Ricks162 Actually I found shortly after this comment that both BF and GF function under the same rules as a new game of Mario, 3 lives by default and all 3 need to be gone for M to take them completely. By the time M kills GF in All Stars she already lost 2 lives so that is her third death adding her to M’s collection. Same applies to BF having 2 deaths before All Stars and dying a third time at the end. However that would be his fourth death if he died to SYS in Unbeatable and so M made sure he could get back to him by disabling Unbeatable until the deed was done.
@@the_godbodor7026 No, the Dev's were the ones who revealed that he had infinite lives and that in All Stars it was going to be shown how in the final part M converts those lives from infinite to one and then kills him (I don't know if that detail will appear in Deluxe)

The ending really hurt me. 😅 It seems like some of the best mods that I myself have enjoyed have also lead to a bit of a disappointing turn. Sonic.exe being cancelled, Hypno as well, and now Mario's Madness' ending. Though the mod was still enjoyable. Vs Impostor was pretty good. Though they took out my favorite part in Ejected. So I was upset about that. 😅

Everybody and their grandfather has talked this mods praises, so let me talk about something that confuses me. M clearly stated that all BF had to do was win against him in 3 songs. And after Starman Slaughter, BF runs to the warp star instead of finishing the songs. What the hell. BF has faced people in 3 song battles before, what about this is any different? Not to mention BF won both songs, so he could very well be capable of beating him one more time. Also BF and GF are canonically dumb as bricks, so I don't get why he'd run away (I do get why, it's a mod interpretation, don't flame me in the comments). So yeah, this mods insane subversive ending is because of BF being both out of character, and dumb as shit. Edit: BF is also shown to have no fear of god tearing entities in this mod, unless GF gets hurt. I get it, but I don't get it. EditEdit: I also believe Ultra M's statement to have everyone under his control to be bullshit for one reason, MX. If MX was just another puppet used by Ultra M to torment BF, then that makes MX (along with every other character in the mod) not someone to be feared, but someone I want to sympathize with. Also the post-credit scenes contradict this, but they aren't canon as confirmed by the mod's creator but whatever. Also, what the hell is the deal with Unbeatable? I get that it's non-canon, but what is it then? He's a character that Ultra M mimics in All-Stars, so he's clearly there. Is he just another victim? If that's the case, so much for the whole "YOU CANNOT BEAT US" shtick. Anyway mod's awesome. I just wanted to ramble on about some stupid shit that has nothing to do with the mod's quality. EditEditEdit: I also believe that Alone is BF and GF's purgatory after being killed by Ultra M given the fact that it's never explained how they both became ghosts and returned to being humans/demons, it's the bleakest song in the mod by a long shot, and Mario is trapped in a painting and given the lyrics of the credits song, it makes sense how he would feel trapped. Not exactly, they have infinite lives so the number of times they died is a bit unknown but it doesn't matter for the lives (except All Stars)

Yooooo Part 2. Hellish Heights ia probably my favorite world in Mario's Madness. Lots of cool mechanics (mainly with messing up everyone's PCs (love seeing their reactions including yours lol). Powerdown is probably my favorite song from the world too. Loved how they included the False Mario section. Also something I learned is that in Overdue during the last section the hallway) is that one of Too Late.EXE's poses (specifically his Down Pose) literally him holding up an L above his head.
Overall, the end to the mod is peak. The build up is absolutely crazy. All Stars is basically a better Triple Trouble, and seeing BF die (for a second time and GF for a fourth) is insane. The ending to this mod with the Credits music literally made me tear up, and no mod has done that.
I renember hearing that the devs (mainly Sandi) saying that the ending is suppose to be like Super Mario Bros. 3 where it is a stage play and BF and GF never truely died (which examples M calling this all a game [even if that is more like something Mario would say] and the props image in the Credits). Honestly, I don't know how to feel about that, as to me, it kind of destroys the impact that it all had. However, Marco deconfirmed it by saying it's up to interpretation.
Oh and then there is Unbeatable. Honestly when I first saw the song name, I thought it would be Pico fighting against puppeted BF & GF. However I was pretty surprised to see the the old "You Can Not Beat Us" commerical along with 10 minutes. (Also 8owser16 reaction to seeing Bowser was hilarious). The song is essentially an absolute endurace test and I strangely love songs like that.
I feel like anyone could tell by reading this long essay of a comment, that I really like this mod. It was nice to 8owser16 play through this. Loved watching the stream and now both parts.
The mod was good, but messed up in a couple of places.
Placing joke songs as the first songs in the story mode, Unbeatable as the secret song, and the ending. It's still a good mod and worth a play. But that stuff will forever be a stain on it.

I rarely comment on these type of FNF mod showcase videos but HOLY SMOKES THIS IS PEAK! Probably the best and fun looking FNF mod since Impostor v4! Definitely worth the 2 year long wait. As someone who never played FNF or any of the mods, I might give this a whirl! Props to everyone who worked on the mod!

Honestly, I don't know how to feel about the idea of it being like SMB3, as to me, it kind of destroys the impact that the ending had. No more fun or games, just suffering from both sides. I know it sounds dark, but it feels right.

One detail I find pretty interesting is how M seems to have removed Unbeatable from the overworld until he already killed you. Many of my friends thought it was Golden Land taking over, but if that’s the case then why not have Golden Land take over the same space Unbeatable is on and not the one above it? M likely thought BF couldn’t win against Mr SYS and his crew and wanted to be the one to kill BF, so removed them from contention (since everyone in the overworld is subject to M’s abilities) until he gets the kill in All Stars
Not entirely since BF cannot die in the Overworld because he has infinite lives, the only one who can kill him definitively is M
@Ricks162 Actually I found shortly after this comment that both BF and GF function under the same rules as a new game of Mario, 3 lives by default and all 3 need to be gone for M to take them completely. By the time M kills GF in All Stars she already lost 2 lives so that is her third death adding her to M’s collection. Same applies to BF having 2 deaths before All Stars and dying a third time at the end. However that would be his fourth death if he died to SYS in Unbeatable and so M made sure he could get back to him by disabling Unbeatable until the deed was done.
@@the_godbodor7026 No, the Dev's were the ones who revealed that he had infinite lives and that in All Stars it was going to be shown how in the final part M converts those lives from infinite to one and then kills him (I don't know if that detail will appear in Deluxe)

Sonic.exe being cancelled, Hypno as well, and now Mario's Madness' ending. Though the mod was still enjoyable.
Vs Impostor was pretty good. Though they took out my favorite part in Ejected. So I was upset about that. 😅
However I'm not even sure if that's truly the end because again pico is alive, and the ending feels wayyyy to off

Everybody and their grandfather has talked this mods praises, so let me talk about something that confuses me.
M clearly stated that all BF had to do was win against him in 3 songs. And after Starman Slaughter, BF runs to the warp star instead of finishing the songs. What the hell. BF has faced people in 3 song battles before, what about this is any different? Not to mention BF won both songs, so he could very well be capable of beating him one more time. Also BF and GF are canonically dumb as bricks, so I don't get why he'd run away (I do get why, it's a mod interpretation, don't flame me in the comments). So yeah, this mods insane subversive ending is because of BF being both out of character, and dumb as shit.
Edit: BF is also shown to have no fear of god tearing entities in this mod, unless GF gets hurt. I get it, but I don't get it.
EditEdit: I also believe Ultra M's statement to have everyone under his control to be bullshit for one reason, MX. If MX was just another puppet used by Ultra M to torment BF, then that makes MX (along with every other character in the mod) not someone to be feared, but someone I want to sympathize with. Also the post-credit scenes contradict this, but they aren't canon as confirmed by the mod's creator but whatever. Also, what the hell is the deal with Unbeatable? I get that it's non-canon, but what is it then? He's a character that Ultra M mimics in All-Stars, so he's clearly there. Is he just another victim? If that's the case, so much for the whole "YOU CANNOT BEAT US" shtick.

No one's gonna read this far into this so cool, I get no backlash for a probably stupid theory of mine./j
