      Weapons in pve do have a chance to ricochet. It's most common on debris outside of where the player can be. The floating shit around the dreaming city is an example

    The stability buff that the le monarque catalyst gives you actually increases the time you have on your perfect draw, making hitting those poison shots a little more lenient

    The Selfie Emote actually holds your camera in place, so while you're doing the emote, other guardians can push you around (or you can sit on a payload from the new event/wellspring) and your camera will watch your guardian go any distance until the emote is stopped!

    15:32 The traveler ball does actually launch you. It works if you manage to get the ball off the ground a little bit before jumping on it. It works even better with the movement speed buff. Sometimes it might glitch the physics of the ball and launch it super high too.

      Yeah 100% that was one of the first things we discovered when this game came out cuz everyone would jump on it. Lol right before it hits the ground you and/or the ball will absolutely launch 😂😂😂

      You jump while on top of it not onto it.
      Also you can launch the ball but only downward.

    If you swap to Boots of the Assembler after making a rift in the tower with The Stag, you can make healing orbs and keep the rift longer.
    You have to bounce on the Traveler ball to make it launch you (only with quickness I think)
    You only have to pull out you ghost to shoot in the helm, you don't need to sprint.
    This might be well known, but Always on Time is faster than any other sparrow.

    "Traveler Ball makes you fly" I feel like I found this 3 years ago lmaoo. The ball has to be slightly floating and you have to jump when on top of it. For best results get the lava challenge "quickness" boost. So quickness, ball a few feet (~4 MAX) above the ground and you jump on top of it, then jump again when on top of the ball.

      With that ball falling so slowly, if you push it over the railings in front of the vaults, you can jump over the railings, bounce on the ball and land back up on the other side. Its ridiculous how far it'll ping you into the air when its mid-flight. I came back to the tower one day and there was a crowd of people taking it in turns to see if they could make the jump.

      There was an update around a year or so ago which made the ball interact differently and I haven't been able to get the same amount of air since then

    The traveler ball launch is really easy to do, I've been sent into the air high enough once I died apon hitting the ground. What you have to do is make sure the ball is floating off the ground and then you jump while on top of it, instead of sitting like what you showed. The quickness buff helps too.

    some notes from the lovely comment section:
    -most weapons CAN ricochet even without ricochet rounds, but ONLY at extreme angles (like on the ground). imo this is useless and ricocheting off the walls is the only practical application of a ricochet.
    -stability also increases perfect draw time. Stability is not ENTIRELY useless on bows (as I said), but realistically it is ALMOST useless lol.
    -apparently gambit motes can be glitched above 15 by having a really bad connection. I guess my connection is good, yay!
    -apparently the traveler ball sky launch is possible, you just need to spam jump with the floor is lava buff lol
    -as I said in the video, resilience CAN and DOES save your life in PvP, but just not very often. That was the whole point.
    I've read every comment and these are the only legitimate clarifications. Any other conflicting information you read is likely misinformed.

      Also, you can stun lock the primeval! It only works on some of them, like the taken centurion, you just have to melee immediately after they start the stomp animation, and if you get the timing down, it really helps your team. Great vid btw!

      if the traveler ball is already floating and you land on it right, either you or the ball should go places sometimes (you may also need to spam space once you land on the ball)

      "bullet bending" is called Bullet Magnetism by bungie. When people talk about "MnK don't have aim assist" , they're talking about reticle friction since all weapons have AA

    Actually, for the stun lock primeval you need an Arc top tree hunter with the charged melee... Many mini bosses can be stun locked with this method. I used it a LOT in season of the Splicer against the Minotaur

      It works on ANY boss (with exeption of flying ones) that has a stun/flinch animation. Gambit, strikes, story, god damn grandmasters, you name it

      Back in Arrivals(in other words, old info that might be outdated), a friend of mine had a Cross Counter build on his Hunter that he regularly stunlocked any boss with a flinch animation. It was rather hilarious, since he'd just lock primevals, champions, and so on in place for as long as he wanted while doing hilarious amounts of damage. Yeah, it was no Falling Guillotine, but given that it was able to nullify Barrier champions and stop Overload from doing anything other than regenerating as well as pretty much keep most bosses perma-locked in a stagger animation for the rest of us to just lay into, it was kinda busted. lol

      I'm pretty sure melee with glaive stuns them temporarily. Hard to tell as I'm swinging and moving all over the place at the same time 😂

      @@cameron4994 Not sure about bosses, but it definitely stuns most minibosses and pretty much all powerfuls. Doesn't quite stun lock them, but it's super close. I find they'll usually only get one attack out for every 10-15 of mine. Probably some way to time it so that they are stun locked, but I never cared enough to try and find it.

    Regarding the reload animation sprint one, they are technically correct, but also overcomplicating it. This is likely common knowledge by now, but you can fire any gun in the game from the moment the magazine is locked into place, even if the reload animation hasn't actually finished yet. As soon as the ammo counter resets, you can sprint or even just straight up fire the gun and cancel the rest of the animation without consequence. I think the gun you used might have just been a bad example because the reload on that is very fast and has little time between the reload itself and the end of the animation.

    That fall damage myth, I've always known this waay back in Destiny 1. So I ended up doing this all the time, even just blink jump before hitting the ground to negate fall damage too.

    5:10 It IS possible, but it seems to happen randomly on different surfaces and it depends on the angle you shoot them. It's happened to one of my Golden Gun shots before... Idk why.
    Edit: 15:36 It works. Try jumping again once you're on it. Double the fun if you have Quickness from The Floor is Lava challenge in the tower.

      I think it might be more common on weapons that can roll with ricochet as well, as with *some* guns I feel like half of my shots will ricochet

    For the gambit one, you have to stagger the boss first. Then if you start to melee them, it infinitely staggers.

    your bullets do have a chance to riccochet, but ive never seen it in pvp, only in gambit and strikes. it also works the best when firing on uneven surfaces, like at a corner or a rock.

    For the reload animation one, you have to be moving and sprint once you see the number for the magazine refill. It also works with switching weapons. I do it literally all of the time.

    15:31 I have done this multiple times and know for a fact that you can. What you need to do first is complete the floor is lava challenge. Afterwards, take the giant ball and push it slightly off of the ground. Make sure that when you jump on it, it still hasn't touched the ground. Once you land on it, quickly jump and you will go flying.

    The sprinting thing is an animation bug since Witch Queen came out. It happens at random, makes you feel like you're floating instead of walking or running.

    16:00 It depends on the weapon, some will allow you to shoot faster. I think chroma rush is one that will allow you to shoot faster, and some longer reload time machine guns

    The sword preventing fall damage is if you swing when you're about to hit the ground. Normal attack works fine.

      @@ShadowDestiny In one of the TWABs, specifically the Season of the Lost weapon rebalance TWAB that fixed Sidearms being 999 Velocity instead of 9999 Velocity, it was mentioned offhand that the fully drawn bows are hitscan at "normal ranges". Not sure how it actually works though.

    5:07 They still can, but only at very obtuse angles and usually on the floor. Weapons like auto rifles and smg's work the best.

    16:45 what they mean is that there's a point where your slug shot just disappears entirely and the shot will do no damage. This is true because when using a slug like chaperone in a lunafaction rift you can one shot people at any range(without roadborn) untill the bullet's range cap. Basically it will one shot at any range until the bullet fizzles into thin air.

    16:40 there is a range cap where the bullet ceases to exist, around 25 meters. You get this with roadborn chaperone and luna empowering rift

      that's not the type of range cap we're talking about, we're talking about the actual range stat. Some people believe that increasing the range stat beyond a certain number does nothing, and that was the myth that was busted.

    4:57 is actually true! It might not be a thing in PvP but it definitely is a thing in PvE. Take any weapon and fire it at the ground for a while.

    The sprint reload animation cancel thing was true back in the day, but it was patched. The cancel does work for swaping weapons, but since the hot swaping was patched it doesn't do a whole lot. It is handy to know for izi rocket because you can cancel the honed edge reload animation early and do slightly faster swaps, which equates to better dps

    12:50 if your a hunter you can dodge, or for anyone, a sword swipe just before you hit will give you 0 damage on a fall. Works in both d1 and d2 I do it all the time. Very useful and very fun

    Note on the Ravenous Beast Perk still being fully charged.
    In previous patch notes they have actually made it so the perk will still remain procted when using another weapon, but it has a set timer on it till it goes away. I dont know how long it last though.

    15:31 Actually the Traveler ball physic has changed. Before if you jump on it and spam your jump button you get a huge jump boost afterward. After Beyond light came out. The ball physic didnt behave the same and now it just push you away from it.

      You need to get the speed buff while in the main area of the tower (that thing that says DO NOT TOUCH, then go find the pool of light), slide into the traveler ball to get it off the ground and then jump ontop of it and ring your next jump right when the ball touches the ground and it will get you some air time. I do this all the time waiting on teammates to get ready when I’m in the tower.

    14:23 you can also do it by just spamming shoot and pulling out your ghost, also works on the eris spawn on the moon

    The Ghost cancelling DoT's I think might work, but it's not pulling the Ghost out that causes the cancel, it's when you put it away. When people do it, they are in combat, no one just pulls their ghost out and stares at it like you did in your test. You quick toggle it to extinguish the effect and keep going. Try that and see if it makes a difference? Of course, the possible explanation is the natural burnout of the effect.
    The clip through wall in VoG I first heard about in the elevator portion of the Scarlet Keep strike. I've been testing it in various places since then. It actually has 2 potential effects, you demonstrated the shielding from direct damage. It will actually cause enemies to not target you. It works that way in Scarlett Keep and VoG. I use it to keep Atheon from shooting at me, it lets callers get in to place and not get shot at by Atheon. The damage mitigation from the wall clip is a side effect from the same thing, but if you do it early enough, you don't ever get shot at. Incidentally, AoE damage will still hit you when wall clipped(have a fireteam member draw Atheon shots to your location and you will take damage, ask me how I know...)

    11:07 this myth was partially true. Since Gambit launch (I'm not kidding) I've always play with a one-two-punch shotgun and tractor cannon because it was stun locking the boss like hell (+the debuff)

    14:52 It can also do it with an Emote called "ANNIVERSARY POSE"! No matter what emote you use, it works as long as your head gets inside a wall or an object. (...I used a translator)

    5:50 The bow wasn’t at it’s perfect draw state, you held it to long. If it was on the perfect draw it would’ve dealt more damage and the bow becomes hit-scan

      @@necrodrake3342 Arrows are affected by gravity because they are projectiles. Unless they are hard coded to become hit-scans on perfect draws, they are always high velocity arrows that give the impression of being hit-scan. That calls into question how range stats and accuracy work on bows. Arrows from what I can tell how accuracy deviation based on how far drawn they are. A perfectly drawn arrow has higher accuracy but loses accuracy if no longer perfectly drawn. I'd have to double check but anything that improves accuracy cones also boosts a bows accuracy stat. Arrows will only inherit a bows maximum accuracy which is why low accuracy bows are bad at sniping but better for DPS. Another thing I'd need to test are if arrow velocity is based on bow frame.

    16:24 it goes faster then all other sparrows except the exact one you used to test it. Always On Time shows 160 like all exotic sparrows but it goes faster then every other sparrow. For some reason that broom has the same speed as the Always On Time (which use to come from a raid that is no longer available so now you have to buy it from the kiosk in the tower)

      That isn't Always on Time, its just a random exotic sparrow. I've used Always on Time since week 1 of Scourage of the Past, I know that model like the back of my hand, and the sparrow in the video ain't it.

    -Ricochet can happen with any gun, but at far wider angles. You really can't hide from your target to do it.
    -Titan barriers are just squares, so if the square leaves a gap thanks to geometry, tempest can still hit them.
    -sticky grenades used to count as objects and were used for Speedrun exploits. This has been patched.
    -The interceptor thing is d2 only.

    That "unique weapon animation if you sprint after a finisher" looks to me like you just plumb started gliding across the floor glitch-style. I imagine there's some version of that happening there, since it's happened to me before as well, and it FELT like that. Definitely a glitch, but still funny that it's repeatable.

    That gliding glitch happened to me a lot I have videos of it happening on my camera roll on my ps4 and another glitch where my head disappeared randomly 🤷🏻‍♀️

    11:00 the selfie emote locks your camera in place and doesn't take into account if you're moving. Scarlet Keep and Proving Grounds's lift, Vow/Preservation's gondola at the start, things like that will lock your camera in place while your character moves with whatever it's actually on

    Bullets ricocheting even without the perk is absolutely true, it is just needs a very shallow angle, best results on puddles around 4 sparrow lengths away lol

    I have an interesting glitch for you.
    As a hunter, 2 seasons ago, I tried the exotic gauntlets that help you to throw aimbot knives, pretty cool and deals extra damage once you activate it's perk by getting 6 enemy headshots and increase the duration by getting more enemy headshots. Which I didn't know was that you can extend the duration by shooting your friend's head. For instance, you get the perk activated but you didn't throw the knife yet and running out of time, what you can do is to shoot on your teammate's head to refresh the timer.
    Note: I don't know if they patched it.

    17:08 - Curious who originated this. Anyone who plays a decent amount of PVP will be able to tell you that bullets come from the head, which is why people "head glitching" over stairs can be annoying.

    On hitting the primeval for staggering it: this actually used to be true. Back in season of the lost, I would do this all the time and it was so OP because everyone else would just trash the primeval, but this got patched afterwards, so not true *anymore

    I've been able to get traveler ball launches but its really inconsistent. Took a clip of one of them as proof and posted it to my channel, I'd link it but random links in comment sections are sus.
    I've gotten launches in the past by:
    -Stay on it too long
    -Trying to mantle it
    -Jumping on it wrong
    and the most consistent
    -Jumping on it while already on it

    If you retry the ricochet rounds myth, aim at the floor not the wall at a very shallow angle. Been a thing since destiny 1, you can see bullets ricochet without RR but I don't know if they actually deal damage or if it's just visual

    The traveler ball also does launch you into the air , BUT, it has to be off of the floor and you have to jump off of it. When it shoots into the ground, it ricochets off of the ground and will launch you, especially if you try to jump again.

    Emoting into the wall against Atheon is the same cheese to use for scarlet keep NF during the elevator part. Simply emote into the pillars and the ads don't detect you and won't shoot.

    The sword blocking doesn’t work but from my testing it seems like you can do it with a well timed sword swipe which is nice for when you don’t want to press jump. Just note you want to be landing mid swipe and you most likely won’t shift direction since there’s too much downwards inertia.

    At 16:00 this WAS true. But because of Izanagis growing popularity at the time and massive request for it to be used in raids and the constant agonizing reload time of it people would cancel the animations to shoot sooner and that got patched before beyond light even released

    I dunno if you would call that a myth, but on controller if you lightly press the trigger using a hand cannon, you can see the hammer and barrel getting ready to shoot until you pass a certain threshold where it will actually shoot the bullet, but before that you can take your finger away from the trigger and cancel the shot.

    The Destiny ball glitch in Tower happens only if you try jump when in contact with the ball from above when the ball is not touching the ground, but it is very hard to control where it goes and where it yeets you or the person hit by it. So while it CAN happen, I tried it many times in the past, and it yeeted me into space only once. But I did manage to kill another guardian in tower with blunt damage from yeeting the ball into them accidently.

    for hunters the ticuu's divination bow pairs AMAZINGLY with the new solar mod thing that grants you a alternate grenade that sticks to whatever it hits and make dealing with large enemies or bosses "kinda" easy once it builds up the tracking arrows hone in on your nade after its thrown.

    In the helm you don't have to sprint to shoot. You just have to pull out your ghost and then pull the trigger. You can also fire while reloading your weapon. Doesn't work with weapons that need to charge up, like fusion rifles.

    For the Traveler Ball one!! It's not that landing on it launches you, you have to JUMP on it. Hit the space bar, jump button, whatever when your feet touch the ball. That's the myth, which I knew is true xD

    The sticky grenade one was a thing by the way, it was patched a few years ago because people were using sticky grenades to OOB into weird spots, namely Garden Of Salvation because you could theoretically get half of the raid chests just by walking through the raid and using sticky grenades to climb obstacles you normally couldn't get around.

    Bullets CAN actually ricochet even without Ricochet Rounds!!! It's just a few particular angles that work and it's a small chance. Since you've only tried the same angle, obviously you didn't see it. But it is in fact very much confirmed!
    If you want to see it, try a bunch of different angles.
