“Creative Kids” Finale

The Hindu in School in association with Parisar Asha, a 39 year not for profit organisation based out of Mumbai conducted a ten day mega online summer camp, “Creative Kids” for more than 165 children pan India in association with THE HINDU and sponsored by LIC and HP. This camp was uniquely curated for two age groups juniors ( 7 to 10 years ) and seniors ( 11 to 15 years) to help the children get over the monotony of the lockdown and impart essential skills which will add to their lifelong learning. During this camp the children learnt various art forms and craft activities. There were also engaging session son language development, theatre, mind mapping, body movement and mental health well-being.
The last day of the camp culminated in a grand online graduation ceremony which was graced by renowned Indian Actor Ms. Rajeshwari Sachdev as the Chief Guest. Mr. N Vaidyanathan General Manager West, THE HINDU group of Publication's West, Ms. Aarati Savur, CEO of Parisar Asha and the encouraging parents of the participants were some of the other dignitaries who attended this ceremony with high spirits.
Ms. Sachdeva applauded the efforts of Parisar Asha and The Hindu in School and inspired the children to keep doing the good work with her words of encouragement. On this happy occasion, Mr. Vadyanathan stated that such efforts are of utmost importance which contributes positively to a child’s growth. Adding to this Ms. Savur also appreciated the efforts of the children and the importance of their parents’ encouragement to keep them motivated.
