people complaining that its too expensive don't realize its priced exactly the same as the Benchmade shootout and almost half the price of the infidel... 325 is not expensive for an OTF.
I don't think the price is out of line, but arguing the price is comparable to anything made by Benchmade is actually making me rethink that.
Comparing to Benchmade is just crazy. Makes your argument completely irrelevant.
Benchmade is also lnown for overcharging to a ridiculous degree
Benchmade otfs are like Pioneer car audio. Over priced for what you get. The Kershaw live wire is the best otf I've owned so far and price per performance hard to touch. So at $180 vs $350 I'll pass
@@snowthearcticfox1 no. Benchmade is known for being an Oregon based company, subject to up to a $15 minimum wage and other demands. Dudes on the internet screeching about their prices have failed to comprehend this since forever.
I love mine. They actually released a few days ago. The first batch is either sold out now, or it is almost sold out. They did 200 of each color, and the gray is sold out. Axial Knives makes awesome OTF's. Worth every penny.
I finally pulled the trigger, this will be my first OTF and my first knife made in the USA
I can understand the price point with it being American made, milled Ti, Magnacut, and OTF. Still too pricey for my budget but a cool knife for sure
It 6061 Al, not titanium.
@@D00MTR33ah, I read the pocket clip part just glancing. 6061 Al is still nice and is what AR style rifles are made of but yea maybe $250-$275 would be more reasonable. Still cheaper than Benchmade with better materials but still out of my range for sure. Also, I’m not a fan of the blade shape personally

Thank God, it's not ludicrously overly tactical. No hilarious glassbreaker/"skullcrusher", understated branding, good clip, no proprietary hardware, practical blade shape...
5:55 I have two EMT/LEO friends, and they both hate the glass breaker and how it looks, but unfortunately it is a pretty important part of their jobs.
Which is why I wear an elastic band with a ceramic ball so I don't have to compromise having an ugly glass breaker ;)
I just put in a pre-order a few weeks ago for their Nymble folder. Got the black and green carbon fiber one. Looks so sick, can't wait to get it.

I dont think the price is bad for a US OTF. I really want an Axial Shift at some point. Theyre like 50 bucks more than a Livewire, but a bit cooler too. The EMP EDC I want is that massive fella that Tristate sent you the other day. Im also really digging the MaxAce Neptune you told us about. Much stiffer deployment than my Livewire, but bigger blade, and its a double edge (Kershaw just came out with one too).

I still can’t get over how much better the MSI looks with the new scales on it. I actually like the look with them on. I wish I were a bigger bar style lock fan 😔 (I know it’s a ball lock and not a bar)

How is it that OTFs are legal in California (up to a certain length) but not in either state I frequent?? I feel like a dog that has a dog friend that's been neutered yet somehow I'm the more immasculated one.
Sounds like someone needs to make a donation to Knife Rights. They got the ban on carrying OTFs and assisted knives of all kinds reversed here in PA in 2022, and the new situation went into effect last Jan. I think that may have been the 24th broken state they fixed.

Nice. Not a fan of the blade shape, but everything else looks good. Awesome to get some new skin in the game! With more states legalizing all types of knives, we should have more designers/manufacturers. Hopefully, that means the prices for auto and assisted knives will drop to more accessible levels. Plus, the USA NEEDS to get manufacturing, in general, back in to the country. Outsourcing everything has not benefitted anyone but the clowns in the top 5%.

I am sorry but I am am not impressed by this one. The Heretic Manticore line with tanto blades uses the same materials, has a better aesthetic design (I realize that's subjective but it's hard to argue otherwise here), includes additional features as far as left side clip mounting and an unobtrusive grass breaker, and is well proven and tested, all for just a little more dough.

USA made, Magnacut, I’d say 325 is pretty fair considering it’s competition
Not really a bad price point at all for US made titanium and MagnaCut. You can buy an Axial Shift in S35VN and aluminum for 50 bucks less, but for better materials on a knife made by the same manufacturer and most reasonable people will expect to pay a few more dollars.
Why do all OTF knives have the option of titanium handles is it because of cost
