I just got mine. Serial number 28XXX. Shoots great. Very accurate. Feels great in the hand. Good trigger. Fed several different types of ammo. Very pleased. Hope they fixed launch problems...
I love mine but I got an early model. Serial 3XXX. Mine had extraction issues, but Springfield was to fix it under warranty. (even if it did take three attempts) Now it's reliable, accurate, and best of all, just plain fun. I'm a lefty so i will be having an ambi-safety added then I can start carrying it.
I got mine before Christmas was having problems with dead trigger and replace all the springs and extracter. It turns out nothing was wrong with the gun. My high thumb hold was slipping the safety partially on. The gun is so accurate it's insane and it's so much fun to shoot, the edges are a little sharp on the beaver tail, but that's the only thing wrong with it feels great in hand. Am very glad I got it..
The slides barrels and frames are my by tisas in turkey for springfield and them assembled in america. I just bout the newly released inglis l9a1. SDS says that neither tisas or girsan has a part in this one. Its 100% compatiable with a mark3 hi power. Its fit and finish is superb. I couldnt beleive how nice its made and for only $414 and it came with 2 mecgar 15 round mags
I bought one two weeks ago…Trust me, worth every penny. It’s a hi-power but with none of the hi-power weaknesses such as no mag disconnect. And since Springfield got the FTE problem licked, it’s super reliable! It goes nicely with my Mil-Spec 1911 from the same company.

To my knowledge aftermarket triggers work and the gun is compatible with aftermarket/surplus parts in general
