Your installation made me decide to go and purchase an android unit with accessories like Rockford Fosgate interface, DAB+ and Apple Carplay.
It was ordered yesterday, so expect to install it next week.
Instead of from a Chinese web page, I have ordered it here in Denmark, where I live.
I have had my 1.8 DI-D intense sedan 2011 for around 5 years now and always wanted this - and your video made me confident :)
Since the car has 277.000 km on the clock I did consider - but I am actually convinced this car will go on forever; I ride around 45-50.000 km yearly to and from the job.

Hi good day i just want to ask if it possible to connect a DVR dashcam on this unit? I enable to connect one camera on rear i bought it separately and it works well but for a dashcam for front u think it has a connector in this head unit? Thank for your reply bro

no I havent had any problem with it, but its kind of slow to start up, maybe 7-8 seconds

I bought a lancer with an different head unit in it and its nice, but the buttons on the steering wheel don't work. Is that just because something isn't hooked up or another issue?
I had to use the settings in the headunit to map it, so check out your settings

I installed this on my lancer and now my dash is all messed up. Every single light is popping up and my speedometer and rpm meter doesn’t work. Any recommendations?

No, its only for backlight on the original radiopanel.
Now my question is how could one add Apple CarPlay on to it? Assuming that is is possible
you can but if you ever put a subwoofer on it the rca cables will draw too much power and the screen goes black and the remote on is complete trash for the amp you have to tie it into something with ac current i have that headunit and i am switching it out mainly because that oh and fyi if you do get it DO NOT throw the radio mount brackets away because if you want to change it later on it is one big headache trying to find those brackets i have spent hours only to find the right bracket

Its the unit that has Android OS, you could use it with Iphone
What happens to the wire on the bezel?
The wire that you unplugged for passenger side airbag
The wire from the switchpanel in the center (the flat one) that goes up to the radio is no longer needed, it only powers the back light of the original radio buttons. Only the big connector on the middle switchpanel is needed.

It's a nobrand from China so I dont know, I think most of them are the same.

I did buy this years ago, but they all seems to be very much the same, go for the one with the newest Android system
No Apple CarPlay but my iPhone works using BT with full access to you phone book without touching your phone. Also you can load up a USB drive with songs and just leave that plugged into HU, my USB leads are hidden in the glove box.

@@highvoltage8357 the canbus won't help with this model. It messes up your sound and replaces it with high pitched white noise

@@MrViguth I solved the problem by myself, I searched for the harness diagram from Mitsubishi and the Radio, bought a another harness from a another device and reconected the cables/Pins. Semester to work now. The Radio seller was not a halp realy disappointing service from him. But now it works.
