I have used their fixed L bracket on my A7R iii for over 3 years, it was a great bit of kit - I wouldn't be without it, an additional benefit it also protects your camera, it saved mine after a minor drop. I am picking up my new A7R V tomorrow and have just ordered one of these to put on it tomorrow. Great video thanks, it confirmed what I needed to know to go and order one.
I ordered a week ago just recieved, amazon has best price. The new twisty display and using an L bracket but the SmallRig for the A7M3 fit and worked and made room for battery exit. Not a video person. But I like to do Milky Way panos in the portrait view but with the old A7SM3 bracket it had a small cut out for its flippy screen to be used if low and wanting to tilt up and afraid some how it would break or smash the screen... Yes very awesome bracket.
Well. I bought it and I think they would have made it even better if they allow while on landscape mode, press the button in the middle. So it tilts to the left and allow it be locked in vertical. That would be so cool. Unless it would be bit unstable and breaks the thing. 😂
Nice review! By any chance can you advice any tripod that can fit this into? and also I am actually a beginner beginner. lol. Does any K&F carbon fiber tripod/s fit this?
I returned mine because it does no fit the RS3. Bought this to quickly switch to horizontal shooting on my rs3 and it does not slide on. Very disappointing
Doesnt your hand get in the way awkwardly on the overhang on the left in horizontal direction? It sticks out, my hand is there if I am handholding intermittently.

I got there L bracket that was updated for a7iii. Assuming this is just a improvement of that
The version for the A7iii is sort of similar but doesn't have a flip-out design.

No because I hold my camera with my right hand.. because the grip is on the right
@@JackWoodhams I hold my camera with both hands. The right is on the grip on the left is on the lens and the base of the left side of the camera.

@@playei7952 Rode NT1a is good. My preference is the Shure SM7B just because it's easier to use. All of those mics should be good enough for you!
