The King James Bible is not the only Bible . We don't speak with the and tho now a days. When you read the Bible put other Christian Bibles next to each other, you will see God words do not change (, the meaning of it.) This is not the 1600 century so our Bibles has no need for the or tho or any such words in order to teach God's words.
The Hebrew Bible is the only scripture that has not changed. Their alphabet contains 22 letters and they are basically the same since their conception. Each letter has a numerical value as does the 26 letters in the English alphabet. Harbor loves to play with his children and he has put mysteries for us to seek out. A couple such mysteries in the significance/mystery of the disciples catching 153 fish.
Why would God mention the number of fish that was caught? He is playing hide and seek with his kids 💕. When the numbers are substituted for the letters and added up it spells out-- sons of God.
An example of the Hebrew being superior to King James, or any other English version is in Luke 18:25, It is easier for a camel to go through a needles eye, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
The King James translators not being well educated in Hebrew didn’t translate correctly, that seemingly, camel and rope look identical. However, in Hebrew the last letter is slightly shorter. The correct word should have been ‘rope’. In English it’s obvious distinguishing the two different words.
Therefore, the parable in Hebrew says, it’s easier for a rope to pass through the eye of a needle…
Elijah did not kill anyone, his faith was not in his own ability, he had no ability to stop the rain or start it again. God is The One Who Killed The False prophets and stopped the rain and started it again. Elijah knew it, his faith was in knowing The Will of God in the circumstances. Do you think that if Elijah Wielded such power himself he would have been afraid of Jezebel. I believe from what he was saying that he was recognising his own humanity and the reality of just Who God is, the reference to his forefathers is a key. Isaiah 6:4 In the very presence of God Isaiah realises that his lips -: “Woe to me, for I am a man of unclean lips”. The closer you get to God The more conscious of your own unworthiness you feel. Elijah was a humble godly man and God was using him as His Own representative and God understood and was pleased with Elijah. All men have sinned and fallen short, even Elijah and Enoch who did not die but were taken home transformed into an incorruptible body because of The Work of Jesus dying on the Cross. You too can walk closely with your Lord God if you have been given The Gift of The Holy Spirit, you never know just how The Lord will use you until He does, He is using you right now in ways you cannot imagine.
The two witnesses will be Enoch and elijah the reason for this is Enoch and Elijah have not died a mortal death. God said all mean must die once

The two witnesses are the two olive trees and the two lights that do their work for God on the earth. In other words, they are God's emissaries. The olive tree is used in Rom 11:17 to depict the Kingdom of God, composed of Jews and Gentiles. The olive tree represents those that belong to Christ. Branches that are broken off are those who join themselves corporately with Christ, who are not joined by God's Spirit to the Root (Christ) but claim to belong to God. The two witnesses represent the Old and New Covenants who together make the Kingdom of God, that is, the Church.
Rom 11:17-20 "But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them, and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree; (18) don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. (19) You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in." (20) True; by their unbelief, they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear"
Likewise, the two lamps burning are representations of believers whose witnessing is spiritual light in a world of spiritual darkness. When God began to build His Church at Pentecost, the believers became like lampstands with tongues of fire over them. This represents the believers as if they were each lampstands. Notice that the light of the Gospel brought forth the believers then speaking by the power of the Holy Spirit. That is what the witnesses of Christ do, they witness to those on the earth of the great deeds of God. They spoke in foreign languages which they didn't know because God was emphasizing that the Gospel after Pentecost was not only to the Jews but to the whole world, people of every nation, tribe, nation, language, and people (Rev 14:6).
Act 2:3-4 "Tongues like fire appeared and were distributed to them, and one sat on each of them. (4) They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them the ability to speak."
Rev_14:6 "I saw an angel flying in mid-heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth, and to every nation, tribe, language, and people."
By now it is clear that the two witnesses represent the people of God, the Church, and they are His witnesses going forth to bring the message of salvation to a lost world. It was God's purpose to have His witnesses give their testimony or prophecy, which is to declare the word of God, on the earth for 1260 days. The 1260 days is 42 months or 3-1/2 years. In Daniel 9, the final seven is split in the middle. Each week is a seven of which there is a total of 70x7 or 490 units to accomplish all the work of God in redeeming a people for Himself (see Dan 9:24). So, in Dan 9:25, there was given 70x7 units allotted from the "commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the Prince."
Rev 11:3 "I will give power to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy one thousand two hundred sixty days, clothed in sackcloth."
Dan 9:27 He shall make a firm covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and on the wing of abominations shall come one who makes desolate; and even to the full end, and that determined, shall wrath be poured out on the desolate. "
Dan 9:25 "Know therefore and discern, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem to the Anointed One, the prince, shall be seven weeks, and sixty-two weeks: it shall be built again, with street and moat, even in troubled times. "
The command to rebuild Jerusalem occurred under Ezra in 458 BC when Ezra established the Law of God again in the city (not the physical walls but the spiritual state of the people). So, from 458BC plus the 490 units (weeks or sevens), we get to 34AD, but we must subtract 1 for no year zero and we get 33AD. That was the year that Jesus was crucified as the Messiah for the redemption (building) of Jerusalem (the people of God). Not to get too far afield, but it was in the midst of the final seven (week) that "a firm covenant is made with many" (Vs 27), and He will "put a stop to sacrifice" (Vs 27). Jesus made a New Covenant that was better than the Old because it was based on better promises. Jesus removed the sins that led to death for His people, making the New Covenant strong, and because Christ was the true sacrifice acceptable to God the Old Covenant's sacrificial system ended at Jesus' death in 33AD.
So, this is only to point out that the final seven of the 70x7's were split with 3-1/2 units on one side and 3-1/2 units on the other. The first 3-1/2 units were years in which Jesus ministered on earth. The last 3-1/2 units extend as a metaphor in which the Church witnesses to the lost. It is not a number of days or years but extends until Christ returns. Thus, the 3-1/2 years or 42 months or 1260 days are the same metaphor referring to the two witnesses, which is the Church. This is the period that the two witnesses preach the Gospel message on the earth. It is the New Covenant period in which God builds His Church (the New Jerusalem) by giving life to the dead spirits in those Christ redeemed on the cross.
But all is not going to end well for the Church. Just as the Old Covenant Church (the Jews became apostate) so too the Church in the end times (i.e., this time) has become an abomination by adulterating the word of God and twisting the Gospel into a lie taught by false teachers and false prophets. That is why returning to Rev 11, God pictures His witnesses as if they were Elijah with the power to call down fire (judgment) and strike the earth with plagues (Moses releasing the captives from Satan's grasp). But at the end of their testimony, when those elected to salvation have been saved, then comes the demise of the Church. The beast of Rev 11:7 arises to war with the Church defeats the true congregation of God so that the the two prophets that declared the word of God to the people are dead. The earth now has its own false gospel just as the Jews replaced Yahweh with Baal. The people rejoice in their lying salvation that cannot save, because it glorifies them. So, at the end of the age, the Church becomes apostate, and like Judah and Israel, they worship other gods which bring God's judgment upon them. No longer is the Church called Jerusalem but rather it is called "Sodom and Egypt" (Rev 11:8) because it has become a place of great spiritual wickedness and remains in bondage to sin.
The upshot here is that the two witnesses are the believers but there comes a time, and now is, when the churches will not endure sound doctrine but with itching ears will go looking to create a doctrine that pleases them, a man-centered salvation that makes wicked men sovereign and God a Genie that grants men's desires. But, at last, when the age is over, the two witnesses are gathered up, that is, all the redeemed of the earth, the true eternal Church throughout history, are brought together with Christ and joined to Him in the air, upon His return. The unfaithful Church and the unbelievers of the world will see Christ shining as God and fear as they stand on the earth for judgment. It will be a time of retribution in which all those not redeemed and covered by the robe of Christ's righteousness give an account for their sins. Those redeemed by Christ do not give an account for they have Christ as their mediator who took their sin account on their behalf and made the eternal payment to the Father. That is why holding to a false gospel that cannot save and believing in a false Christ is so damaging, it has eternal consequences.
After the evil is put away into outer darkness, into hell forever, this cursed cosmos is destroyed by fire. A new purified earth and heaven are created in which God and His redeemed people live forever. What we will be like or the new heavens and the new earth cannot be known. But it will be a perfect, sinless place with God in the center of His people forever.

Please understand, the first one is An angel that woke him up, the second one is An Angel of LORD. Both angels can't be of similar! The first one did only say "eat" and the second one gave reasoning for Elijah to eat. Bersheeba is defined as the "land of judges". To mean a justice or law system and its facilities, its wilderness is just "a state or condition of injustice". Where Elijah had been. Why was he afraid and discouraged as such? The answer to that will crush the foundation of all the religions of this World to rumble.

They mentioned the two witnesses. It is possible that the two witnesses (Rev. 11:3 KJV) are the OT and the NT, that testify unto the truth (I lean toward that answer). Some say it represents the Israelite Church (OT) and the Christian Church (NT). Ideally, a "witness" testifies (unto the truth)! It is important to convert the 1260 days into 1260 years, using the day-year rule of Ezekiel 4:5-6 KJV (that of course points away from the two witnesses being regular human beings). Thus, the two witnesses of the Word will testify. Finally, at the mouth-of-two-or-three-witnesses principle shall a matter be established (verification from both witnesses). The answer needs to take these biblical components into consideration. MBJR. 2-21-24 at about 6:11 P.M. Oregon Time.

To say that Enoch and Elijah both went to heaven, and did not DIE, is a LIE! Elijah sent a Letter to the King of Judah a few years after the time of his Rising into the sky! (II Chron. 21:12) Gen. 5:24 says, "God took him." Yes, God took Enoch through Death! Jesus says in John 3:13, "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven." Even Jesus died before HE ascended into heaven! Elijah was carried away by the wind, just like the sons of the prophets believed he was. They didn't look far enough to find Elijah. To say that Enoch and Elijah went up to heaven, is to CALL Jesus a LIAR!

Who says that the Kings James Bible is the authorized Bible. God's word(the Bible) is to let us know what's pleasing to God. If we can't understand it, then what's the point. The original Bible were written in Aramaic and Greek. King James had it translated in English in 1611. At that time they spoke Elizabethan English, so naturally it had to be translated as such so that the people could read and understand. We no longer apeak Elizabethan English, thus we had to translated it to modern English so that we all can understand and benefit from God's word.

There’s a clue to the identity of the two witnesses in Mark ch 3. V 17. When Jesus surnames John and James Boanerges meaning sons of thunder, referring to the seven thunders in Rev. Ch 10. Where John is told that he must prophesy again. I believe that the two witnesses will be the reincarnation of John and James.

The James version is actually relatively a new version. The translation has many language alterations that changed the context in scriptures. John 3:16-17 is just one of them. The word Believe in old manuscript is Faith. "He who has Faith". Even Satan believes.
