My husband & I visited Hocking Hills last summer. It is such a beautiful area to see. All of the parks were free to visit & park at. There are so many trails to explore. We decided to stay in Columbus, instead of the nearby town, because we only spent 1 day in Hocking Hills & wanted to do other things. If you want peace & quiet & just enjoy being in nature, then stay in Hocking Hills.
Yes, it's absolutely gorgeous! However, I can't stand the wasted 2nd hallway space (probably 3'x45') on the other side. If I had a builder do a similar cabin, I'd use standard 6' wide French doors on the front, eliminate the 2nd hallway entirely, and use a sink big enough to wash dishes in. This is great for a weekend rental, but not practical for daily living. Thanks for the tour of this gorgeous space❣️
I absolutely love it! 😍 I would make the area behind the stove a walkin pantry with stackable washer/dryer and make a privacy room for the toilet the same size as the shower for symmetry. I would make a bed with storage underneath. All the window and doors makes it feel large. I love all the decks leading outside.
Yes, bigger sink for sure, extra hallway adds ease of transit. I dont hate it, but it will add expense. Its very picturesque, but if the hallway was closed off you could have a smaller door to the porch and put the bed against the wall. Just sayin.

Hocking Hills. Old Man's Cave is the first park site I ever visited - at 7 years old, decades ago, with family. It had a deep effect, and I eventually became a National Park Ranger elsewhere. Thanks for the memories.
The 'rounded' part of the walls are called 'Bullnose' corners. In 1993, I put them in my home in California and have loved them ever since. Such a difference in the 'attitude' of the surroundings. Love the video and cabin.
I love the idea of this house. As someone who’s considering a tiny house in the next year or two, there are a few things I’d change to make this a functional, long term/permanent residence. 1. Kill one of the hallways & make it a U-shaped kitchen. This gives you much more counter/cabinet space in the same, small footprint. It also allows for a bigger closet on the backside of the wall, in the bedroom. 2. Take out one of the French doors in the bedroom & put the bed up against the wall. 3. The nook for the wardrobe is nice, but it takes space away from the shower. I’d put a water closet where the shower is; move the bathroom door a little and put the shower where the toilet is.
I agree, for some reason the bed location makes me super uncomfortable because I feel oddly exposed from all sides. There are too many doors! The kitchen is too small

This tiny home is exceptional. So glad to know the builder used nontoxic materials, custom features, local craftsmen and gave the potter’s table a new home. What a beauty! All those French doors bringing in natural light everywhere is brilliant design to avoid a tiny feel, and to take in all the natural beauty surrounding the cabin

All the time in Ohio I'd heard of Hocking Hills but never went. Had plenty of beautiful falls and landscape to see over the years but no clue about the gem of Hocking Hills. Glad you shared this one. Nice seeing a bit of home. 💙🖤✨

The interior is beautiful! Colors/counters/etc were obviously designed with a great deal of thought. The nicest, prettiest tiny house interior I've ever seen. I'd like a bigger kitchen sink. Layout is good.
Alice, it is indeed a beautiful home with a great design.... but as you also commented about the kitchen sink...i just cannot imagine myself washing pots and pans in such a small sink.... i was expecting a dishwasher.

Levi, I have been watching your videos for a couple of years. You do such a fantastic job of showcasing these homes. You have a calm demeanor that really allows me to listen, watch and experience the the visual content. Thank you.
I've watched tiny house vids for years ... this is definately one of the best designed. Its a bigger than the typical tiny house you build on a trailer which makes it more livable. I've always believed that you don't have to limit yourself to the trailer template, just create a smaller and more affordable one than traditional homes. Well done.
You have chosen the perfect career for yourself. I love how you "guide" everyone to all these wonderful homes. It's plain to see and hear that you love your job! Keep up the great work.
I moved to Ohio in March 2020. Hocking Hills looks like the kind of place I’d like to visit. That cabin is amazing! It’s the perfect size for short stays.
Moved from Columbus, Ohio three years ago. Always loved going to Hocking hills. But it was becoming such a popular place that it got to be so busy there, and of course it became so expensive just to get away.
This home is beautiful and I love that the builders took great care to use non-toxic and local material! The warm wood tones (even in the shower which is neat!) & light color palette make this home appear to be glowing! I imagine it would look like a fairytale in the snow. I also want to point out that the windows (and not just the bedroom windows) all had window treatments. That feature makes the home feel private and finished to me. Not only did they include the window treatments, but they are exquisite!
Please forgive me for being a pessimist. Would you please define “non-toxic” for me? I’m old enough to remember the DuPont company offering numerous products that were advertised as “non-toxic” that ended up being extremely toxic. As a matter of fact they’re so toxic they’re unable to be broken down naturally in the environment. They are with this planet forever!

Well decorated with fine taste and style. Very light and positive. A beautiful house. The dual hallways keep the whole from feeling cramped. I like that. I have to agree with others about the sink. All in all, among the top tiny homes I've seen.
Such an adorable tiny house, and it being in Hocking Hills is just another plus for it lol. I haven't been to Hocking Hills in SO many years! My kids are all grown and gone now, but when they were little and I was still married, every year we'd rent a cabin in Hocking Hills. I have photos of my kids in the Rock House. They loved that place so much! I'd love to go back again some day. Having been single for 12 yrs now, it isn't much fun going somewhere like this and staying in a cabin all by yourself! Maybe some day I'll have someone to take with me though!
The property and environs are spectacular. Love the feel of the cabin, the design of the fridge, and the bed. In fact, I have virtually that same bed, designed by an ex-boyfriend 30 years ago, and I still love it. It does feel more spacious than its 450 square feet. No bathtub, but that's offset by the hot tub right outside the door. Cons: no dishwasher, meaning the dishes would all have to be done and put away right away, or you'd always be looking at dirty dishes. Sink very small for dishes and other uses. No room for even one bedside table. That would drive me nuts too.
Hi Jay, we did incorporate the ottomans at each bedside to act as tables. These can be slid in and and out as needed. I ensure each bed in our rentals has a bedside spot to place reading material, glasses, phones, etc. There is also an outlet under the bed with a cord to each side for charging devices. The sink is small, but functions well. I have washed every pan and baking sheet in it. Based on comments here, I think the sink must appear smaller in the video than it actual is and the halls must appear bigger. The "halls" are only 3' wide x about 3' long. There is a closet there, so it is the depth of the closet plus framing and sheetrock.
Stunning home~guest home I appreciate your quiet, calm and kind demeanor. Makes your videos very relaxing. Thank you also for showing us a little of the area where these small homes are located. My father was an architect of custom homes, custom, millwork, and custom fixtures. He always told me that it did not matter the square footage of a home, but everything was about the layout. The older I get, the more this is confirmed! Blessings! 💝💐🙌🏼🕊 p.s. rounded wall ends are called “bull-nosed” 💝
We love Hocking Hills and have rented a cabin there once with some friends. It was awesome. Been to old mans cave several times also. I absolutely love, love the new tiny cabin. It is gorgeous!
Ive seen countless vids on tiny homes.. your interaction with the cameraman just makes my heart happy on this video. New Sub coz of it and Thank You for doing what you do.
@olgahapitan312 As a current Floridian and former resident in Michigan, I too had no idea of such a cool spot. I can only partially imagine how awesome this spot must be in the fall. I so miss all the riotous colors of fall that we so infrequently get to see here in central Florida. I also miss seeing a LIGHT covering of snow on Christmas morning. The rest of the time I'm super happy not to have to deal with it. This would be an ideal place to escape to from the blistering hot summers here. With all thise trees and water in the area, I imagine it would be quite a bit cooler than here. I have to agree with you about the double hallway. I'm not sure what purpose it served since only one hall was shown. I would push the hallway shown over to make the hallway wider for wheelchair access. And I would have the bathroom tucked behind the kitchen and pantry area with a washer/dryer stackable. The kitchen is pretty cool, but I think the stove and sink areas should be swapped. That way the fridge could be moved way over into where the second hall is creating more counter/prep space by the sink with a pullout pantry storage space between the fridge and wall. Having the sink swapped to where the stove is would cut plumbing costs since the bathroom and kitchen would have all the plumbing in one spot. Ir would free up the island to have it be moveable since you could have two burners (induction and/or solar) in a drawer thus having the island moveable. The eating spot could be on hinges and be let down when staging it as a bar or buffet inside or out on the deck. With very few tweaks, this could be an ideal floor plan for someone in a wheelchair or someone wanting a first floor bedroom and bathroom area. Levi didn't say whether the couch had storage or not and if was also a sleeper sofa, but that would be a way to not need a loft area at all. I like the overall footprint of this home and with very few interior tweaks to make it even better, this goes in my folder of top plans that are practical for someone in a wheelchair. TFS this Levi. You got a new subbie..
If it's an all yr living home, I would use one hall way for washer/dryer and storage. I live an hour away from Hocking Hills. One of many Ohio's hidden gems.
Coming back to this video to say how much I appreciate that the builders have chosen to add light-blocking window treatments to what looks like all of the windows in the living area. This is such an underrated and rare feature it seems. Window treatments allow the guest to have control over the light filtering into the home and feel a sense of privacy and security. If I am still thinking about this place a month later, I think we need to book a trip!
Exceptionally beautiful inside and out! Love the warm wood colors with white. Certain practical considerations: Kitchen seating facing window instead of stove, & bigger sink! Free standing bed a concern for reading in bed.
I’m watching this video from my 11x6 kitchen (pre-cupboards and appliances) in my 640 sq ft, 140 year old house. This looks like a mansion to me and so beautifully thought out.
Really pretty house. Totally photogenic. Do I want to live with two hallways to the same bedroom? - Are you kidding? Clear glass French doors in a bathroom where you can also see the crapper from the entrance door? - Are you kidding? You have to go through my bedroom and bathroom to get to the rear deck and hot tub? Are you kidding? A 30 inch range and giant fridge for a two person house? And the cutest kitchen sink I've ever seen. A really beautiful house but let's live in it for a month and see what you think.
I think my husband and I need to visit Ohio. I had no idea how many cool outdoor features it has. The cabin is amazing. I could live there. They thought of absolutely everything.
I really love how much walkway there is. Obviously seems it's built just for a rental, but if I were to live in this design, I would incorporate more storage.
@@debbiejohnson3677 Yes, it is built specifically for this. We have ample dishes and food storage (there are 14 drawers and a under sink cabinet in that tiny space!) for the 1-2 guests who stay 1-3 nights.
im a big city person myself, but this is gorgeous, location and home style, colors in it everything. so cosy and peaceful vibe. :) that is a dream for a nature photographer like myself.
Love Hocking Hills and look forward to taking my husband there someday! You've given us many great Air BNB's to choose from! Hope your new year is starting off well. A blessing to have a camera man now too! ☺️
Love that it's a whopping 450!! Some just can't afford it-but if possible -adding some room for privacy or sound proofing a room if there is more than 1 person... Storage-if smaller sqftage on ground & add a decent crawl space or basement for storage in winter areas is almost must- or a seperate storage unit. In fact one of the most irritating issues is tracking everything bc of no attached garage or a mud room -even a cement porch area to have an area to leave the outside outside-but not enter the inside. If your a clean person in anyway-this & just a few other musts can I feel ; have been verified-make or break the success in a tiny or small home long term
I love that there are so many exits. The one thing I hate about small homes is that most only have one exit, or if they have two they are bot at font of house with no exit at back. Love this.
That's a great point! We designed it with many doors to let the beautiful light in and allow guests to view the gorgeous woods outside, but your point is excellent.
One of the best small home designs I've seen. Absolutely love all the work done in it, came out awesome. If it was affordable, I'd take one in a heartbeat.
So many big doors and big windows are beautiful, but…. Wonder how it’s heated during the multiple winter days below 32 degrees F, and cooled on multiple summer days around 85-105 degrees F? Love the rounded corners. Love the downstairs main bedroom.
@@papajeff5486 A 12K mini split (High efficiency heat exchanger) that heats down to -22F (mine went to -35F) would do it if the rest was well insulated. Only uses 910 watts/hr to heat on full. That's just over $2/day to heat in Wisconsin.
I've been hiking the Hocking Hills my whole life. I've stayed at so many cabins in the area. Most of them from Old Man's Cave Chalets. I recommend taking the rim trail at Conkle's Hollow. Beautiful cliff side views.
Nice work Justin! The detailed description was excellent, Levi! In the tour I found it interesting that the rounded arch shape was created and repeated through the entire home from the kitchen prep surface to the arched wardrobe to the cushioned cover and hot tub shape. The custom cabinet in the living room had a double-arched face to match the arch-framed mirror in the passageway to the bedroom after the pantry. Even the kitchen utensil holder is an exact copy of the hot tub shape. The bathroom sink and soap holder are the final design features that mimic the twin swings and the hot tub's curves.
I really enjoy watching Levi’s videos. He seems like such a nice and humble guy. As an architect, I enjoy how good he is at highlighting the interesting attributes and details of the places he shows us, at times including his family. I certainly appreciate the uniqueness of the places he features, maintaining quality over quantity in terms of content. He might just have his own show on network tv some day.
Love everything as it is; appreciate attention to detail, ie reclaimed wood floors, full sized frig, and the abundance of light! And the big poster bed!
Beautiful, really!🥰 You know how much I love tiny houses and this one is one of the best you've shown on your chanel so far! The warm, orange glow everywhere is amazing. I would never want to leave this place again.🤣 Cool things to do around there, too, the waterfall looks great! Time to visit Ohio!😁
Love the curved out island to sit at! Integrates a table into the island! Perfect! Just put stools w/BACKS & bottom rungs for feet. Much more comfortable.
I used too live in Hide-A-Way Hills, in Sugar Grove, (between Logan and Lancaster) such beautiful land here, Definitely one of the nicest places to live or visit in Ohio.
I’m not from Ohio, but I have had to go all around the state on many work trips, and I think Ohio is the most underrated state in the US. There are big cities, college towns, part of the Great Lakes. It’s also home of the worlds #1 biggest and best roller coaster park, Cedar Point. It’s also home of the Wright Brothers who invented the airplane, Jeep(wave 👋) and most importantly Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream! Ohio was also recently rated the most affordable place to raise a family. Also, don’t break the speed limit…
What a nice place to visit, thanks levi for bringing us to that place, all the views also the cabin it was all superb! Glad you have a new video, best regards. Godbless
I love this design. The extra open space is important for a feeling of openness. A person needs to be comfortable wherever they live and if you feel squashed and cramped, you won’t be comfortable. Some of the designs we see have almost no open space and are considered practical and efficient. It depends on your tolerance.
Thank you so Gorgeous and the wildlife surrounding...? I imagine with the cooking and composting you're more than likely to attract some beautiful yet unsavory guests.
Sjees. What a jperfect tiny house. I wish I had the imagination to design such a thing: the perfect combination of white and the light woods, double doors, clever devision between kitchen and bedroom. It looks so calming to the eye. Everything is more or less the same style. Of course, if one would be living in this for full time, much more storage space would be needed, and things would be cluttered up very fast (at least: if I would live in it). But one is allowed to dream.
This looks pretty, but some non-functional areas and things. The kitchen sink is just way too small. It's tinier than one in bathroom. Bedroom has no privacy, so wouldn't work having more than just a couple, and didn't see even a pocket door to the bathroom. But, as said, it looks "pretty."
Yes, without a dishwasher, you couldn't wash dishes without making a huge mess in that kitchen . Moisture damage could become a huge issue. You'd be better off hosing down your dishes in the yard!
This is a vacation rental for no more than 2 guests, who typically book 1-3 nights. The sink has washed pots, pans, and that baking sheet you saw Levi using. And yes, there is a pocket door on the bath.
@@johnnykruton1221 AHAHAHA. Gimme a break. So like the idea of sleeping with the funk of fried fish and asparagus in the air? Yeah, go right ahead if that's your idea of a good time.
@@Serai3 Well, that happens in much larger conventionally built homes. Unless you have some super duper ventilation system to blow all those cooking scents out of the house asap. I actually like the entire idea of homes built from these ubiquitous shipping containers. Was just trying to say you still get cooking smells in whatever kind of housing construct you have.
Check out the end where it finally show you what Hocking Hills Ohio is all about! Waterfalls, caves, devils pools...

We'd welcome you to GloCabin!
Another great one. The outside looks like that one in Upstate NY you toured .
Stunning home~guest home
I appreciate your quiet, calm and kind demeanor.
Blessings! 💝💐🙌🏼🕊
p.s. rounded wall ends are called “bull-nosed” 💝
We love Hocking Hills and have rented a cabin there once with some friends. It was awesome. Been to old mans cave several times also. I absolutely love, love the new tiny cabin. It is gorgeous!
Thank you!
Ive seen countless vids on tiny homes.. your interaction with the cameraman just makes my heart happy on this video. New Sub coz of it and Thank You for doing what you do.
Beautiful area.
Beautiful tiny house. Great photography Justin!
I would add a small extra space in the back for a Washer/Dryer setup.
Levi, I love your videos. Your tours are always so incredible. And as a Floridian, I didn't have a clue how awesome Ohio is. So cool!
it is! Ill be in Florida here in a couple months as well😄
@olgahapitan312 As a current Floridian and former resident in Michigan, I too had no idea of such a cool spot.
Oh my goodness! That is the most beautiful tiny home I’ve ever seen! ❤
Thank you!
The impression of airiness & space is nice, I love it!, but...practicality is so much more important if actually lived in day to day.
Thank you!
Beautiful 🥰 The only thing I see that I would want is an overhang on the front door for rain
We're considering that :)
The hot tub is filled with water?! That's amazing!
Love how you added awesome things to do to your video!
Just awesome! French doors galore! It would be perfect for just me and my keykey n puppa😊
I really love how much walkway there is. Obviously seems it's built just for a rental, but if I were to live in this design, I would incorporate more storage.
Yes, it would definitely need some adaption to be a full time residence.
That there was not enough storage for food and dishes. Definitely a rental home
LOVE this house! There is a lot of space wasted on the double hallways. LOVE the bathroom access to the hot tub!
6:41: YES! No climbing into a tiny dungeon to access the sleep quarters
Right?! I personally cannot sleep under a low ceiling...claustrophobic I guess.
Beautiful tiny home. I love that you were pulling out some chicken tendies at 3:55 of this video.
This would be the perfect retirement home ❤❤❤❤❤❤ I’m absolutely obsessed with this design. Fantastic review 👍🏾 I always enjoy your work 🫶🏾
Thank you!
I love Hocking Hills! Grew up going and hiking there…💕
I love that there are so many exits.
@@scottc8152I had no idea about the heater. Thanks so much as it is really cold here in northern Nevada 🥶
Yes! Thank you for noticing those details! Most items are custom to incorporate the gentle curves, including the tv stand.
@@ecoluxevacationsEvery detail is exquisite! Job well done!
Agree. Dedicate more to the kitchen. The daylight is fantastic.
Wow the views are amazing and the Tiny house was great. I love the open floor plan.
Thank you!
This is beautiful and those front door are out of this world. On the outside it doesn’t look as large as it really is on the inside.
Thank you! And we love our front doors :) It definitely feels larger on the inside than the outside portrays.
Never miss a video and just wanted to say I really enjoyed the new format!!! Also Hocking Hills looks beautiful I had no idea! 😄
A great vacation spot for some peace n quiet!!
Beautiful, really!🥰
You know how much I love tiny houses and this one is one of the best you've shown on your chanel so far! The warm, orange glow everywhere is amazing. I would never want to leave this place again.🤣
Cool things to do around there, too, the waterfall looks great!
Time to visit Ohio!😁
Wow, thank you so much!
It's been a while since we have been to that part of our State. Thank you for the tour of the house and park!
This is amazingly beautiful! Great job, Levi!
Thank you :)
Gorgeous area, gorgeous cabin. Except the kitchen sink isn't large enough to clean large pots and pans
This is a very fun tour of a gorgeous area and cabin. Justin your camera work was (is) perfection.😂
Thank you!
Love the curved out island to sit at! Integrates a table into the island! Perfect! Just put stools w/BACKS & bottom rungs for feet. Much more comfortable.
I love this tiny house! So aesthetically thought. Every inch and design is perfect! Really love these type of palettes ❤❤❤
Thank you!
@@ecoluxevacations you’re very welcome! Would love to stay in your place soon
I can’t personally see anything jaw dropping in the house itself, but the environment around it it’s really beautiful, great location.
The GloCabin is awesome. Perfect for very active 70 year old. Can this Cabin be moved to CO? Also what is the cost minus the furniture?
Hello I’m really impressed with your comment, if you don’t mind friendship please were are you from?
I used too live in Hide-A-Way Hills, in Sugar Grove, (between Logan and Lancaster) such beautiful land here, Definitely one of the nicest places to live or visit in Ohio.
This is such an amazing cabin. I loved the french doors alla around and the tub. Keep these coming!
Thank you!
This is one of the most beautiful tiny houses I’ve ever seen. Very expensive though, with all the bespoke features. ❤❤❤
Loved the tiny house and the tour. I had no idea Ohio had such beauty hidden within. Justin did great! 😀
Love all of the french doors in a tiny home!!!!!!!!!!
What a nice place to visit, thanks levi for bringing us to that place, all the views also the cabin it was all superb! Glad you have a new video, best regards. Godbless
Thanks for the cabin love!
Hocking Hills one of my FAVORITE places! What a cute, cool cabin, I bet it is amazingly peaceful here...
I'm a cinematographer, who likes interior design and tiny houses, and I just want to let you know, you have a good video guy. Loved the video!
Oh my goodness! A hot tub! Love LOVE love!
Que lugar tan increíble, me encanta. Saludos y bendiciones desde la ciudad de México.
At first, I was like, "Mark Wahlberg seems so nice and calm." 😂
The cabin is absolutely beautiful! I can only imagine how peaceful it is.
This is beautiful. We keep looking for the most efficient design for a guest house. Thanks for showing it.
Thank you Dayna
Well they definitely chose design OVER function. Too much wasted space
The waterfall you show at the end is where I took my picture. I love that little beach. Can’t believe and man lives there for years in the woods
So the smell of whatever you cook is going to get into everything in the bedroom. One of the downfalls of thinking about aesthetics above all else.
Negative Nelly. 🤔
Why do you cook stuff that stinks?
@@edennis8578 LOL. Try not to be such an obvious troll, little boy.
That place is really nice. It has a warm feel for the size.
