I noticed when you were showing the roots that your tubing for the oxygen is underneath your roots and could eventually get cut off your oxygen supply to the water. The way to prevent this or at least control it a bit would be to put your bubbler on the other side of the tote. Just a suggestions. 🥰🙏🏻🇨🇦

I heart, people time the melon, while during last 2 weeks before harvest they let the plant dry or die out, forcing the mother plant to give all their nutrients to the melons. hence getting sweeter....

What is that foil that you have on top of your totes? Is it some sort of insulation foil?? Does it also help to deflect the heat to keep the nutrient water cool? I’m also very curious about your nutrient recipes, did I read that you use cal/mag and then the bloom and that’s all?? Do you do a similar recipe for tomatoes and peppers? I had read for a vegetative growth in a 5 gallon bucket that it should be
    General Hydroponics
    Cal/mag 20ml
    Micro 39.6ml
    Gro 19.8ml
    Bloom 59.4ml
That they should be added in that order and that you can also add an additionnal 20ml Koolbloom, those amount of nutrients seem very high compared to the nutrients that you are using?? Can you please advise what you would recommend for tomatoes? They did seem to suffer when they were initially transferred into this tote a little bit of droopy leaves and then some brown spots and a few little rust spots but since cutting those leaves the plants seem to be thriving and are definitely using up the water in the tote, I think the next time I add to it I’ll just add the cal/mag, bloom and koolbloom 20ml of each and see how things progress. One thing I don’t want is all kinds of green and no tomatoes!! Can you advise of anything else I should be adding or not? I would so appreciate your advice.
    Thanks in advance🙏🏻🥰🇨🇦
