I loved your video because you take the time to give the details that other videos lack. I've tried gardening before, spent a ton of money and got nothing because everything died. I can't afford to make mistakes.
A quick tip for Nats, put apple cider vinegar in a cup beside your plants and it also works inside your kitchen beside your trashcan. The Nats will dive into the cup of apple cider vinegar then just throw it away.
Congrats on your new addition, I just had my first last week. Hello sleepless nights 😬 Thanks for revisiting this process step by step, keep up the great work
I must say that i truly enjoyed this video from start to finish. And great job including the time lapse. And after one year, you now have a baby who can reach 3 feet higher!
New subscribe here, I've been learning so much from your videos, you really are a big help. Congratulations on your baby. I can't wait to see your little one helping you out in future videos
Enjoy your videos and started some hydroponics after watching your videos on the kratzke method. Have cucumbers, strawberries, and even yellow squash growing. Going to expand my set up to grow a lot more all winter. Keep up the good work.
Gary, from the rusted garden recommends to either moisten the potting mix or seed starting mix with either boiling water or moisten and microwave the soil. This kills the eggs and gnats. He also recommends sprinkling cinnamon on the top of the soil.
A half-cup of diatomaceous earth in a gallon of water can be misted on your plants and soil as well. Do it just after watering and as it dries, when the gnats try to climb through the soil surface, it begins to slowly shred them from the outside in.
Psycho Rooks but they become larvae first and if there’s too many of them, they can become pests in the soil. I had one large pot filled with lots of organic amendments and fed with compost tea brewed for 24 hrs. It attracted gnats to lay their eggs there and I found them under the surface as I was testing for moisture with my finger...found the soil literally crawling with tiny white larvae, looks similar to pot worms but are smaller.
So happy for you about your baby. Much older now I guess but it’s always exciting and a wonderful growing experience. Your videos are so helpful and full of good information. Thank you.
Another channel placed light 2 inches above seedlings because they said plants would become leggy. But your light seemed farther away and plants didn't get leggy.... so what are the lumens and kelvin of light used so that plants got enough light without burning? Thank you for your time and great videos!
Great video as well has helpful thanks... BTW the seeds came in and wife and I thank you. You ever thought about making more AeroGaeden videos? That would be great so I can try and grow some of the seeds and get a few tips and tricks and how to get the most peppers from the plant's and how or when to prune
Great timing and an important video Khang! While the immediate future is rather uncertain, DIY food growing skills are skills that may be easily learnt and applicable to land poor dwellers as your grow tent method suggests. Wonderful time of year to select seeds or supplies at the big box stores or online too. Happy Gardening! -Bob...
Does one have to leave the lights on 24 hours during all stages of the grow. I grew Cannabis and used 18 on for vegging and 12 hours on for flowering. How does it work for veggies when growing indoors?
Congratulations on the new baby! Awesome, very informative, and helpful videos. We are newbies to trying hydroponic gardening during the pandemic... Three weeks growing from seeds and one grafting. Question: do you always put your seeds under the grow-light while in the Rockwool? Do you have seeds germinating inside of the black Hennesey boxes? BTW- smart to use plastic spoons for labels
Im getting a small grow tent to start off. I told my wife we have lucky bamboo and i think the hot temps harming it i wanna contain them better get them greener and start veggies then some medicine 🌲
Congratulations Khang! Hope all that practice nurturing little seedlings comes in handy! New(ish) subscriber here - joined for the peppers, staying for everything else!
Hi, love this “hydroponic” type of grow. Great improvisation, using containers not typically used in a hydroponic setup What a great and inspiring idea. This an excellent demonstration. I want to grow greens for my chickens indoors through winter. Do you think kale would be as successful as well? Thank you.
Wow the harvest works great. The indoor light box is interesting. Haven't tried it before. How does it compare to growing outside in the spring-summer-fall?
Hi! I was just wondering whether you use an extraction fan for your grow tent? I'm looking at complete grow tent kits and they are quite expensive with an extraction kit included. I'm wondering whether they are really necessary or whether they are really for the hardcore growers growing that special plant 😅
A tip for gnats in your dirt: Before you use the dirt, pop it in the oven on 400 for 5-10 minutes. It will kill anything that happens to be in it :)
Or just pour boiling hot water in soil and mix well, let cool, then it’s ready to go indoors.
Great tip. Thanks for sharing.
Many is benificial tho
@@carloolsen6443 ?
@@carloolsen6443 agreed ? Wouldn’t that destroy the helpful microbes as well?
Congrats for new baby... Better late than never. God bless your channel.
This is my first time gardening and I’m SO excited to watch my indoor plants grow, especially the lettuce!
Congratulations on your new baby! I’ve been watching you for a long time and love that you recycle or repurpose items. Nice vid! 💜
Great info : you speak in a clear and concise way ! I look forward for additional videos !
7:22 The birds singing are so beautiful. I love to hear them.
Thanks so much for your video. Definitely makes me feel like I can grow indoors being in an apartment
Him: "these plants are beautiful"
The plants: "aww. Thanks 😊"
Him: "they also taste very good as well"
The plants: "hol up...🤔"
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
Congratulations, on your new baby. Thank you for showing about getting a harvest.
That flex with the Henny Box on the left side. A classy man I see. 😂

Once again, thank you for this video, top notch stuff 👍
Stay safe.
Between the crops you have in the cups and the crops in regular plant pot, how often do you feed them nutrients?
Congratulations on your baby. Thanks for all of your informative videos. Stay safe.
Timely information. Thanks for this video.
Thank you. Much needed at this time. Excellent tips at the end. Thank you so much. Namaste.

Congrats Khang!!!
Congratulations on the baby mate!
Hey, what would happen if you pour the plant food mix directly into the soil from the top? New to this and have started planting my own food.
Congrats, Khang! I would not recommend raising a baby via the double cup method :)
I love this video it was very helpful
Congratulations for you're newborn, keep up with these greate videos !
Congratulations 🎉🎉
Hi quick question- how many hours do you leave the light on?
Hi there, where did you get the lettuce seeds from?
Man you sound happy like the plants you grow!
Wow very beautiful 😎😎😎😎😎😍
Yay baby! Congratulations 💃TFS
Is a grow tent necessary? I am growing in my garage with shop lights.
Thank you so much for the knowledge. I am starting mine
Congrats on fatherhood!
Love this video, great job. Take care.
Thank you for your tutoring Khang , so precious . Could you please tell me what the fungus nest looks like ? So I can eliminate the soils .
You can google fungus gnats. They're tiny flying bugs you often find in soil, harmless but annoying.
I live in Montreal and I cannot find the promix potting mix you are showing . Could you suggest another safe potting mix please ?
simple set ups are the best, thanks for sharing!
How did you get lettuce to flower new seeds

What’s the coldest temp in your garage? Did u grow this thru the winter?
once you trasplant it into a larger pot do you use the same potting mix or different one?
Hey can you show us your grow tent set up?
Great video. Thank you for the helpful information.
do you recommend a filter or any particular fans inside the tent? or just the LED light?
do u have any sort of ventilation on your tent?
I love your accent. That’s for this detailed video!
Thanks

Do you run the light 24/7 ?
Green thumbs up 👍🏻
Do you need to ph the water if so what's the best ph level this question goes toward growing pepper too. thanks

Buy them separately all you need is a grow tent , light , and a inline fan with duct work
So good at indoor growing he successfully germinated a new human life.
V informative! Thanks for another great video. Congratulations on your baby btw! 👌👌👌💕💕🌶🌶☘️🍀🌱🌿
Is there a difference btw starting seeds in rockwool and soil?
Congrats on the baby
Can you use compost for indoor plants?
I wonder if agrohoneopathy would help with the fungus gnats
