    I would love to learn more about digitizing art and using a printing service to drop ship orders. Your unicorns are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for your honest review of the supervision paints. I am just getting into using super granulating pigments.

    We love product reviews like this where the presenter has done the research! Including an explanation of the CII pigment codes is so helpful. We get what you mean about liking convenience mixtures- we're big believers in single pigment colors, but sometimes it just makes sense to get key shades factory-mixed in the tube, especially if you'd be using up 1 or 2 more expensive colors mixing the same thing by hand!

    I can tell whoever put together the sets loves purple like I do!

    I would absolutely love to learn more about how you turn your paintings into prints.
    I’ve become quite the pigment nerd in recent months, but I still have time for fun convenience mixes like these. Sometimes I just want to use a colour straight out of the tube, especially if I’m playing in my sketchbook or make a card. Your unicorns all turned out fabulous!

      Hi Sonya! Pigment nerd. Love it!
      Thanks so much for the positive response! You can watch out for more videos like this and I'll let you know if and when I create an Etsy course! :)

    I don’t know if you have reviewed the process of scanning and color correcting etc. but I would enjoy watching the process in more depth.
    Love the unicorns

    I'm just in awe of those paintings. I've been wanting to try those paints for a while. Just waiting on a good deal.
    I would also love to learn more about turning paintings into prints and selling them on Etsy. My sister told me quite a while ago I should do it. ❤️😁

    Since you have a connection to Paul Reubens it would be nice if you could let us know if they truly did change the paints after such horrible reviews in the beginning. Kimberly did a great job letting us be aware of the light fastness.. but I would also greatly appreciate knowing if the recipe has been improved over time.

    Question! I see you used an Epson v600 scanner. When you sell your art how do you print it out and what paper do you use?

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I actually use a drop shipper to print and ship my art. :)

    Hi can you tell me if you sketch an outline of this first or you just paint without drawing it?

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I usually sketch lightly in pencil first, or I’ll “sketch” with a super light paint color.

      It's the Strathmore 500 series watercolor spiral bound paper journal--I think they are discontinued unfortunately.

    You should put all of them in pans because they go bad really fast. Check kim crick art's youtube video about supervision watercolors.

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I actually mention her channel and video about this if you watch the rest of my video! ;)

    • @PaneeraqKarlsen
      @PaneeraqKarlsen 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@EmilyOlsonArt yes I know :) I meant that they go bad in the tube and she suggested putting them in pans because dried colors don't go bad :)

    Are these Paul Rubens paints?I thought Super Vision was a different brand.

    • @EmilyOlsonArt
      @EmilyOlsonArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, different brand but sold through the Paul Rubens Amazon store.

  • @amybaker5241
    @amybaker5241 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Super vision was its own company I guess Paul Rubens took them over. The older versions were bad that's coming from more than K.C been around for years from what I gather.
