The toothache/pain is an unquestionable simple sensation which cannot be sliced to nothingness by overthought? + would be interested to read the passage from Epicurus. ++ Crime and Punishment outlines the consequences of indulging in degradation. Fine - then just say “pleasure in schadenfreude” or whatever locution you need. The rest of us will be ok with pleasure, I expect
