    Finally!!!!! You are the first person to acknowledge that it is society's effects on people that cause them to become distorted versions of themselves!!!!!!! Which is what Dostoevsky was saying, if anyone bothers to read the note that he wrote by way of introduction. Thank you!

    Brilliant video! Only point I slightly disagree with is that the Underground man wants “revenge” on the officer, I personally always perceived it as him wanting his status and existence put on an equal footing with him. When the bump actually happens the narrator seems to believe that the officer notices the moment.
