Just found out the content of this song after some serious search for the lyrics at Japanese websites (b/c english sites just don't have lyrics from the band) and then threw it into a translator but wow the content in a single song! It's about a single mother who refuses to have a child for the man she met and fell in love with because she's afraid that she would change and hurt her first child. She tells the man that if they were to be reborn, she wants to seek him out and have his children (but apparently not now). Major shock and honestly resonate with me since my mother refuses to remarry b/c she wanted to concentrate on taking care of her kids first. This seriously makes me want to dig up lyrics for other songs from the band! Wish me luck since I still can't read or speak Japanese lol!
Kuroda-san's voice is perfect for rock and ballad. In ballads, his voice is really soothing and we really get to hear vibrations that would be harder to hear in a fast song. It really shows off the beauty in his voice. And I think the gap between such a masculine voice and how emotional the song also added to it. Point is: his voice is really pretty and soothing here. I've been listening to his voice to relax lately but it's really hard to scrounge up audios of him because info about him in English is lacking and it's hard digging up Japanese materials. If only Kuroda-san does audiobook T-T.
