Buttercream board is essentially a dunkaroos charcuterie board and I love it
I just recently went to a restaurant that did the butter candles, they did them as small tea light candles in a small cast iron skillet with the bread on the side to dip once the candles burned out and it was so good.
I’ve made the Christmas tree bread sticks for years but I also use chopped artichokes in the dip and blend the cheese into the dip. I brush it with melted garlic butter and sprinkle with parm. It’s a favorite of the party guests. I also made it into a football shape for the Super Bowl.
If you stager the cuts you can go all the way to the center
I've watched this channel for a few years. I was a cake baker and worked 2/4 am to noon depending on the season, Tuesdays through Saturdays. On Saturday, I'd get off at noon, work out, then settle into bed and watched Rachel's video before I took a nap to get powered up for my weekend. I did this every Saturday for at least 2 full years. Now, I work at a bank with Saturdays off, working normal hours. And I find myself missing that quiet hour where I'd watch these videos and take a little nap before my weekend began. So every Saturday, I try to set aside a special time to watch the video by myself and have some self care time. I really appreciate Rachel being the leader of my me time for so long.
You need to try Apple Pie on the rocks! 1oz vodka, 1oz fireball, 4oz apple juice, dash of vanilla (or just use vanilla vodka) and mix, pour over ice. Optional: rim the glass with brown sugar and garnish with cinnamon stick. SO GOOD! (You need to drink this for me because I can't - Im pregnant!)

8:00 just buy two pastries: one you fill in and then put the other one in top. Afterwards create the form you want to with a pizza cutter. Then you can eat the extra pieces 😉 and still have something nice to present to your guests
Plus: if you brush it with a yolkbath it’d look better

You need to try a cheesecake dip board!!! Add graham sticks, pretzels, waffle crisps, apples, strawberries!!! And maybe throw in a tad of butterscotch schnapps to give your drink the buttery ness you would get in a cinnamon bun.

I’ve never tried it with STRAWBERRY cream cheese! Only regular cream cheese and it’s always been a fav of mine since I was a wee one. Now I’m totally trying strawberry cream cheese this year. Why has it never even crossed my mind to use strawberry cream cheese when that’s my fav flavor of cream cheese.
I think a disposable shot glass would work better for the garlic butter, as the cup looks like so much butter. Looks yummy though 😋. My favourite Christmas treat is a raspberry cream cheese candy cane. Delicious 😋 😋 😋
Yes! A narrower candle might’ve worked better. This one was just too wide for the heat of the flame to really reach the edges. (or a multiple wick situation if you wanted something wider?)
I would think that if you use a bees wax wick it would be safe, as it is safe to ingest bees wax. And when we were 80s and 90s kids growing up we had candies called wax bottles that were little wax bottles filled with a candy syrup shaped like soda bottles, those never harmed any of us 80s and 90s kids!

Just had our Christmas party last night and I made that cranberry jalapeno dip from your other video and my husband loved it so much! I used a mixed berry and a jalapeno whipped cream cheese under it and it was definitely a hit.
My co-worker made it for our office Christmas party and it was yum!
We live near a nature preserve with a lot of deer and we have a Ring camera outside our back door. My favorite Ring videos are of deer coming to eat the plants in the planter by the door and then walking right up to the camera to investigate the light. Last week one almost rang the Ring doorbell with his nose!

Just one tip for the buttercream board: isolate the buttercream from the wood, butter takes on flavour and wooden boards often release it into moisture. I once served a cake on a wooden board and the bottom tasted woodsy, it was very annoying after all the work.
I think if you did equal parts pecan whiskey and cinnamon whiskey and then did the cream soda as the mixer it would be more cinnamon roll-esque.

You should try the butter candle with a smaller size, like a ... votive size. Would be a cute accent, especially on a cheese board. And less mess if it's a disaster.

GANACHE BOARD! Seriously while you were doing the buttercream board all I could think about was chocolate ganache frosting. That would be perfect with fruit. It's like a more chill version of chocolate fondue. Section it up like Chris suggested and do milk and dark chocolate ganache, vanilla and peppermint buttercreams. AMAZING! How is it not already all the rage?
Rachel use a piece of hickory wood as a wick, since they use that for the smoke process in bbq. Such as the candles that as wood for a wick.
Also, i make a mean tiramisu dip with mascarpone that would work great on a board like that (with or without rum)

I 100% hopped on that train during quarantine and so the hot chocolate version would be cool. I haven't been on TikTok in like a hot minute but now I have to go investigate "butter board" - I've NEVER heard of that!! The garlic butter candle was GENIUS haha. I love how you are sitting there being so meticulous and planning out everything you're going to do - that's SOO me. I'd like to try making the Christmas tree with spinach dip with puff pastry instead of pizza dough.
The butter candle works like any other candle and should not end in a pool of butter equal to the amount you started with. If the wick is sized appropriately the melted butter is "wicked" up and vaporized. So most of the melted butter should end up as fuel to feed the flame. Butter's low melting point though would cause more drippage than a standard wax candle.

I would do the butter candle with the christmas tree bread, maybe as the "star" on top, letting the candle melt into a bowl to dip the breadsticks into.
Also I think you'd want a wick with a higher burn temp so that the butter both melts and heats (or have the serving situation be over a warming plate) but I don't know enough about candle making to know if that wick would then make your butter unsafe to eat.

You should try Russian Buttercream. 1 can condensed milk, 1 cup unsalted butter, 1/4 tap salt 2tsp vanilla extract. Mix for 8-10 minutes. You won’t regret it

Do you have Rumchata in Canada where you live? I think it would really taste like a cinnamon bun if you use that instead of cinnamon whiskey. Just a suggestion. Otherwise, just try the Rumchata it tastes just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

I think to make the butter candle work the way you want it to would be to make it thinner, more like a candlestick that will run down as it melts. I can’t think of what mold might exist for that but you could still roll it in parsley & red pepper flakes

A really good holiday drink is cinnamon whiskey with apple whiskey. Tastes like an apple pie. 1:1 ratio. We do it as shots and as sippers, so it's up to you.
For the pizza dough I think if you cut it diagonally you’ll get two triangles that are the same size.

Try making a dip candle instead of a pour and put a few in candle holders on a tray of different breads. Could even do dif flavors for diff breads like a cinnamon over Hawaiian or pound cake
