Have been thinking of buying this as part of our business, but wife has raised historical concerns with the transmissions. Any concerns buyers should be aware of?
Tom here: Great question. Personally, I always think historical concerns are right to consider, but less of a worry in modern vans. Manufacturer warranties will usually cover you for the first few years & if you lease one it'll be more cost-effective than buying, with the ability to swap it out after 3-5 years for a new one (thereby eliminating your chance of encountering any issues). Also, the Partner is a sweet van.
These reviews are great! Do you have an opinion on the automatic gearbox in this group of vans? I’m also interested in a petrol engine this time round, for my mileage it’s perfect.
Tom here: Glad you've been enjoying them. Thanks for the feedback. The auto gearboxes are really good - at the time of the Vauxhall Combo review I was lucky enough to have the one I featured and an automatic version, the auto was responsive and very easy to drive, but I fear they're only available on the higher-end diesel engines. I think you'll find the 1.5-litre diesels offer good ROI and longer lifespan than the petrol engines too.
@@vanaramauk Thanks. Diesel, got it. You spend a lot of time in a van when you work from one, so it has to be a nice place and reliable too. Any of these will be great compared to my 18yr old connect!! Though that says a lot for how reliable it's been. I'll be checking out one of these or a newer connect now, that's for sure.
@@Aweegin Tom here: Sounds like you've got a lot of use from the Connect. Check out the deals on Combo Cargos too... some of them are really good. www.vanarama.com/vauxhall-van-leasing/combo-cargo/2300-1-5-turbo-d-100ps-h1-dynamic-van-10099.html
Tom here: GOOD NEWS! I've booked in a Proace City loan vehicle. We're shooting the review next week and it should be on the TH-cam channel in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
@@ImCeatra Tom here: The Proace City engines come in a choice between a 1.2-litre petrol or a 1.5-litre diesel - I'd bank on the engines being the same as those in PSA Group vans... maybe with a tweak here & there per manufacturer.
Absolutely the worst car ever ! Our company bought these cars for us employees. I havent met a single coworker thats happy with this car. So much electrical problems
Tom here: The advice is to use the passenger full-size seat and disable the airbag on that side. It's not advised & may be illegal to put a baby seat in the middle seat.
Great video i have a Peugeot partner there a fantastic van good job Peugeot
Tom here: Glad you're enjoying your Peugeot and the videos.
Passionate, informative and truthful review.
Tom here: Really glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback.
How many degrees is the stove on `HI timperature`` ?
Would love to see a crew cab review.
Cheers 🍻
I love it..peugeot is good as always🔥❤
Tom here: I agree, good reliable vans.
@@vanaramauk Had my new Berlingo 9 months now and is going well, not even a warning light.
Excellent review fella, thanks.
Tom here: No problem 👍. Glad you liked it, thanks for the support.
Hi there, I’ve just had a new born baby and wondering do you know how to turn off the airbag on the passenger side? Thanks, Frank

If you choose ultimate, is grip included in that, because it is ultimate?
is there enough length in the rear to carry mountain bikes with the wheels ON?
Did you ever get an answer?
Great Review Tom 👍, if there's anything I could fault with the PSA vans is with my Dispatch, you can't switch off the media screen! 😀
Tom here: Haha, and that's a minor point to be annoyed with. Shows how good those vans are, eh?
How do you deactivate the passenger airbag?
Has a nice front end compared to the last generation
Tom here: I agree, really nice looking van. Royal Mail has a fair few of them, they're great vans.
Will there be a pro ace city review 🤔
Tom here: GOOD NEWS! I've booked in a Proace City loan vehicle. We're shooting the review next week and it should be on the TH-cam channel in the next few weeks. Stay tuned.
I ordered a new berlingo with a heads up display, because I don't like the I cockpit in the peugeot model.
Tom here: I love the HUD in the PSA Group vans. Really worth having. Good choosing!
The only thing that I hate is no rear view mirror or rear windows :(
10:53 Fiato Fiorino not doblo
Tom here: Good spot. Appreciate you being a gent about it.
So no passenger Air bag I take it?
Tom here: It's an optional extra you can select if required.
@@vanaramauk Yeah ya right it's only the lad sitting in that seat. (Should be illegal)
If you opt for it, they put it in the overhead shelf, I ordered my Berlingo with full curtain, and passenger airbags
Wow 🔥😍😍🔥
Sounds like you like your wraps ;) (you may have said the same thing two different ways) haha
Tom here: Haha, yeah, I have a habit of doing it. Who doesn't love a wrap?!
Hi sir I have peugeot partner how to connect media Bluetooth
Tom here: Go onto your infotainment screen and find Bluetooth settings. Pair your device (make sure its Bluetooth setting is on) & there you go.
Hi sir i am using this van for my electric scooters arround the city, my question is, is the roof of this van is removable ? please answer.
Thanks
Yes with a saw (not included)
These are a great van when they work ? I've had one with 3000 k and I've had nothing but trouble with it ? Anyone else out there got a similar story ?
Just bought mine,
me too.
What's the fuel economy like? Mine will always have 2-300kg of stuff onboard, really wonder what mpg I'd get. Cheers
How to set the digital speedo on the dashboard? I got no user manual from my fleet dept
Isn't Toyota's Proace City also based on this?
Tom here: The Proace City uses the same small van platform as the PSA Group vans. You're absolutely right. Good platform.
@@vanaramauk does it use the same engines too, or are those Toyota sourced?
Also, very lovely you still reply to comments!

Does that model have folding mirrors
Tom here: You can choose to have them fold as an option.
noisy....haw many db are inside??
wish my boss bought these instead of those stupid transit connects
Tom here: Ahhh, I like the Connects. But the Partner is a tremendous van.
Even at 2x the speed this video is to slow

Can a baby seat fit in the middle seat?
