For the next flight we tryed a bigger 850 battery and manually adjusted the rear elevator level in expert mode cause it was pointing up. It's flying smoother now
Hi great video on my maiden flight I hand launched it it nose dived into the ground bending the propeller shaft can I change the propeller shaft or do you have to buy a new motor thanks john
Halo there, can you give an update on the P 51 750mm RTF protocol or what's the best receiver to use so we can bind to a hobby grade transmitter? Thank you and stay safe!
we dont think you can bind to this protocol so watch my video HERE th-cam.com/video/2C5YkNc9VIM/w-d-xo.html in other video i have changed gyro and receiver But sorry that receiver now discontinued, and as for picking a radio i went for for RadioMaster TX16s because i wanted Multi protocol and at that time the price was good in local warehouse and from TH-cam reviews
I bought my first plane two weeks ago, after preparing with around 10 hours of simulator time. Unfortunately, the experience has been a nightmare from the start. The plane had issues right out of the box. It could turn right much better than left, and the beginner mode made it impossible to achieve reasonable turning rates. In mid mode, it was somewhat manageable, and I managed to get seven successful flights. However, today, when I switched to expert mode, the plane started spinning uncontrollably to the right and crashed (without any input). After replacing the broken propeller, I attempted another flight, but the plane couldn't fly straight. It constantly banked to the right and couldn't be trimmed. Eventually, it flew into the sun, and I lost sight of it. I spent 2.5 hours searching and walked about 10 kilometers in circles but couldn't find it. I suspect the faulty ESC didn't cut the power when it lost signal, causing the plane to keep flying straight for a while, making it impossible to locate.
My machine also starts shaking and bobbing around at higher speeds, but even more than in your video. Does anyone have any idea how to improve or reduce this instability? Thanks
You mention "Beginner mode" but you have a PNP, is there gyro in the PNP? What gyro are you using then? Also it comes with 2s but they recommend 3s 11.1v. I wonder if that doesn't fry the esc..
No this is the RTF ready to fly version please watch my unboxing video. And yes I think specs wrong only fly with 2 cell. Another video soon flying with 850 2s cause it needs more nose weight
@@blowy48flyrc Actually I believe that all these 700-750mm series Volantex planes with the EAR403 gyro receiver will fly on 3s. The reason I can say so is because I recently flew my Ranger 750 on 3s after grabbing a battery from the box without the right glasses on. :D Thought it had a bit of pep wheeling with the Old Farts' V761 collection. Survived the full flight OK but I wouldn't run it WOT for too long! ;-)
Mine is a piece if crap. Damn rudder sticks left or right for no reason on beginner or medium setting. I should have just disconnected it but I didn't. Flew it right into the ground and busted the foam. Not sure about the motor since it just happened. I live its little brother but this one is a piece of crap.
@@DAVIDPEREZR73 I fly it all the time..... After I replaced the piece of crap receiver with a Spektrum AR630. It is an underpowered plane but it's fun to fly anyways.

Does this plane have a steerable tailwheel?
Great !! I have try the mini eachine p51 brilliant, I think on the move soon volantex
Good keep the volantex in beginner or middle mode
Any idea why it's bobbing up and down like that?

Did you break anything on the landing? I know prop, landing gear are weak points?
Didn't break anything on that landing but the wheels have ripped out on another flight so had to reinforce the mount with plastic
Fajny ☺

Yep it don't fly nice we tryed a bigger 850 battery and it was better
Did you ever fix the problem?. I have the same issues and it does a peace of crap. Never get to fly the plane since I bought it. What a waist of money
